I was calling Cesar stubborn for saying it takes too much effort to write a longer phrase.
I referred to the “combative” word for how you were purposefully winding up Exu.
When we (moderators) have contacted you about how you’ve been on this forum, it’s been thoroughly justified and we’ve been trying to push you in the right direction to have better interactions here. Your experience may have been different in discord, but moderation is handled differently there and people communicate differently.
I’ll answer this:
Albion and Astra were weak on release so got buffed. The Devs don’t like to turn back on their buff right away because that can annoy people. They will try to only nerf when they have to.
Pandora never got buffed, she was known to be too strong on release and has since been nerfed.
Nophiam and Charybdia same story as Pandora. In Charybdia’s case it was especially important because loads of people awakened her so she was extremely common in PvP.
In the case of Chary, that’s the difference between easily accessible mythics and random ones that nobody has. It’s a high priority for these monsters to be balanced so they’re more likely to be nerfed and in a shorter time span. The Devs also get far more data showing whether a monster is too strong or not. However, it’s not like broken ones only a few people own get left broken forever.
A few months is what it usually takes though, so makes sense. It always feels like ages at the time and then we get used to it being fixed and forget how much/long of a problem it was.
This is not true. They were balanced before but now broken. Even if dev had to buff, why they buff to such extent that it can be clearly seen how broken they are and now neither they can revert as u said. Who will take responsibility??
Albion was definitely weak but I agree Astra was already very strong it was just too restrictive and now the buffs have made them ridiculous. All I can say is we need to bring up nerf requests for them occasionally. Giving the Devs feedback to help them balance stuff is the best we can do
The way i see it is that the discussion between you and Exu failed on your side the moment you posted that “childish” reply. If you kept your cool and posted normally or simply ignored Exu (at any point) things would’ve gone differently, but instead, you not only replied to it that way but also kept being combative as KD says.
But why can’t I wind up exu? Hes not kid and you are wrong Abt Cesar he always care for game. It’s just that you guys are a bit harsh on us especially kd and follower exu.
Without bringing dirty laundry into open discussion, the official warnings and suspensions have been for saying very inappropriate things that are nothing to do with speaking openly. Every time you have replied to the moderation with rudeness or other bad stuff.
We’re trying our best to moderate you appropriately and we want you to freely communicate with other people but you’ve come out with some stuff that legitimately cannot pass any kind of moderation.
For all the minor stuff we just want to try and nudge you in the right direction rather than being serious about it.
Likewise. I was quoting what Myst had said about what he gets told in DMs. In this case he was rage baiting with stuff and doing things to wind up Exu. Combative is more like being aggressive/rude with very little provocation.
Even now you’ve got many people telling you you’re in the wrong. Sometimes you have to hold your hands up and accept that you’re the one being rude and that you’re the problem, not always deflect, escape and accuse others. I tried to tell you this a while back in DMs but you just keep defending and arguing. This behavior will just keep making people turn against you in whatever community you decide to engage in.
Also, we really don’t DM a lot of people so I hope that sinks in at least somewhat.
Now, let’s move forward and I hope we won’t need to have this discussion again!
I’m sorry, I think most of us, if not all of us, are adults. It’s pretty clear what @Myst is trying to question. There’s absolutely no confusion as to what is referred to F2P Mythics. I can say it again, Anniversary and shop mythics. That’s all it’s being referred to. I don’t even know Myst, I don’t know what is talked about on discord or talk to any players outside of this forum and it’s pretty clear to me what he is talking about.
We can all pretend we don’t and try to take the conversation in a different direction if it fits the right agenda or we can address the situation and call it as it is. There is a clear difference on how devs approach monsters that need a nerf. First legendaries and shop/anniversary mythics within a month or two and then the rest after several months if ever. Any justification outside the realm of favouring one side, is purely a way to take the focus away from the real issue. I know it happens, you know it happens, the devs know it happens. I understand why the need to keep high spending players happy, I don’t understand the need to lie and pretend things are different. Just say it, there’s no shame in protecting your source of income.
