This game has died out

I get pvp issues all the time, I however have developed a foolproof plan to expedite the process. It’s very simple. Spend some money, buy some eggs, even if it’s just $10… We all enjoy this $1 game a lot and it seems like we (I’ve been guilty as well) want to get a $100 game for that price… It doesn’t work that way… Make your suggestions/complaints of course, however go and spend some money on this game. It takes time to create and build these games, and for the tons of enjoyment we get out of it, and the demands we put on the devs, we need to give back to them so they have the necessary resources to work on updates, new content, etc… and (gasp) earn a living. No secret that I can’t time eggs, but trust me buy enough in a row and you will be amazed at the stuff you can pull.

If you are on master league, you are extremely lucky bro! If you are on expert league, hmm… Eventually you’ll crash one of them, but they are mostly the stupid ones of them, that’s way they got defeated and kicked out even using a cheap combo :stuck_out_tongue:

Its a boring strategy and its so repetitive lol.

What do you mean rebuilding the game? Why?

They’re redoing the code to help stabilize the game better because of how bad some of the bugs are

And using a new engine that will greatly boost productivity and the amount of new features that will be able to be added to the game.

I see, thanks for the info

That’s a good point. Why would they spend time redoing the coding if they was planning on abandoning the game?

Well… the engine is used in all of their monster collection games. They only stated that they’re transferring their engine over to Unity, but not that they’ll even use it in Hunter Island. It could only apply to their future games.

hmm I haven’t been following up with this update news… Just read some posts here & there…

So it’s been concluded that the update isn’t gonna happen, they are focusing on new game & they are abandoning this game?

If so, I will too…

It will happen. I just don’t think they’re very motivated to continue this game, so I’m not sure about updates past that one. We’ll see.

Hold on, hold on, hold on

No one said abandonment of the game, no one is saying the game is being ignored

Let’s stop twisting words

here is the actual post from the Devs about the game and the new game

It’ll happen, I agree but we should at least try to keep the game going reasonably

That’s up to the developers to keep it going. They’re making a huge mistake right now. So be it.

The thing is, having an app rated number one in over 39 countries would  lead you to believe that they should continue working on it. However, with the lacking information about the update (e.g. where they’re at, what they’re currently working on, like a progress report), the users are just becoming more disgruntled and, well, that doesn’t incline them to want to purchase the next game. It’s, unfortunately and simply stated, bad customer service.

I am of the opinion that HI has given us far more than what it cost, but I also believe communication about the update could happen a bit more often (e.g. every two weeks to three weeks, tops, even if just a sentence or two saying where they’re at or giving an approximation of how much code they have left to rewrite, which is more quantifiable as opposed to giving an estimated date of update submission).

In my own opinion, if the devs don’t transfer any data from HI and just release a brand new game. I am NOT going to buy it. It takes a lot of time and effort to build up a team in HI already. Start a new game will discourage me as well as many players like me in the game.
It’s sad, but if the devs do so, then I guess so be it :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes. Transferring progress is needed. Keep pushing this.

I do think that many of us are of that opinion.

However, I think their new game is a different genre, like robots, etc. So, I don’t see how the progress could carry over, even if it was possible.

That’s one of the issues… if they change the style it won’t work well in terms of transferring the monsters over. And that’s pretty much what people want. I’m not sure what else could be transferred over.

But I also think that if their new game is not supposed to be a continuation of or sequel to this game, then there’s no reason they should discontinue this game in favor of the new one. They should work on them both in parallel. And if the system’s design is poor and too hard to expand, redesign it. It takes time but it’s worth it in the long run.

It’s just my own opinion, no offense :stuck_out_tongue:

None taken? We’re agreeing with you.

We want progress to continue over or for them to work on both simultaneously, as Ashley stated. There’s absolutely no reason that they shouldn’t (at least until HI becomes more of a loss instead of a profit, which, when ranked as the number one app in 39 countries, shouldn’t be too soon).
