My take on the sleep immunes

@kocowind Nereida Abyss was easily counterable too imo. I think people are either too stubborn to try new things or lack the creativity to find other ways of using their monsters.

Also, when I’m suggesting these SE/Epic counters, im doing it from the point of view of new players with thinner monster pools. If you have a halfway decent pool of legends there are a ton of ways to counter one on one @Killerdog and everyone else

I’ve noticed that a lot these days; especially during the advent of the BB spam teams.

There have been many ways to save our ■■■ from ooo until we meet angelion + double ooo, and now it is upgraded to angelion + double ooo + sakura.
Now do you still think your counters are useful as you expect?

@kocowind I do actually. You’ve been playing for so long, I’d be shocked if you told me that you couldn’t figure out how to counter one on one with the monsters you’ve accumulated over the years :joy:

(PM me your monsters if you’d like team building help)

The monsters I suggested allow you to reasonably counter one on one front lines in conjunction with other monsters.

What if i told you Saberdragon had sleep Immune 60 speed and a 50 TU move that can wake your whole team up?

I think it’s a case of not having a whole meta which needs a such a hard counter that you beat it but then get shafted by everything else.

Nerys Abyss was a good combo. Not OP and certainly wouldn’t be now with scarley. Maybe it should have simply cost more.

I guess I will then be matched to non-ooo teams always and give free wins.

@kocowind you have such a negative attitude, maybe you would be better at Neo if you weren’t so pessimistic all the time.

A positive mindset can go a long way, not just in Neo but in life in general :ok_hand:

They can bring it back. It won’t affect me :joy:. I can build a team. Nobody that play neo right can stay they have use a different team after every lose and still come in top 5 in pvp other than me

Lol at the suggestion that blazebones or any super epic should be category two. That is pathetic. Who the heck uses him in a OoO FL in PvP? No top tier player. Only good thing with that combo is PvE and then flip the enemies health.

Give me a dam break. If we are gonna complain that much about OoO. Bare in mind I’m one of the complainers I rather the devs not touch it. And leave it as is…

If we start nerfing sleep immune Super epics we have gone way to far. Yes including jackal as well. Wake up.

The big problem with threads like this and suggestions that people make is that people start getting carried away and start ruining everything. This is why we can’t have nice things.

PVE is going to get ruined if we apply all the crap being mentioned in here. The benefit doesn’t outway the cost. It is like fixing a broken toy with a sledgehammer.

Putting a simple PvP specific restriction. Eg: "Not allowed to have more than 1 sleep immune 6 to 7 star monster in the FL with a OoO 6 to 7 star monster will solve the problem and future proof the problem without ruining the monsters and PVE.

@Killerdog
I’m not sure why you think it’s overly complicated to have different rules for PvP. The devs have done it before and they do it with events all the time.

All they need to do is have an updated list of current restrictions and this list can change depending on the Meta.

OoO is ruining the game tbh. It’s not about countering, it’s about how OoO was intended to work and it’s far off from where it was then. The fact that oni and sleep immune fronts can keep the enemy asleep up to 720 tu at 86% is just absurd. Im not gonna include stratus into this because it doesn’t have as big impact as oni and it’s second OoO

Thanks @Saitama that is exactly what I was about to say. I dont know what @Killerdog was thinking but there are so many monsters on his list nobody is complaining about and who would get an unnecessary nerf. If that will be the final list, I am going to quit the game. That is so wrong, I cant even find the right words. I am sorry if this sounds harsh or rude, that is not my intention but I am honestly shocked about this suggestion. A Monster like Saintfeather, that was nearly useless for ages, got a buff just recently, will be completely killed by getting insomnia.

@Dev_VKC Please dont make this a big nerf festival. Lv. 2 sleep immunity should be applied to as less monsters as possible. On Top Nothing will change if Oni keeps his SS and Bunker will have full sleep immunity, especially with Jackal keeping the full immunity.

I know Gyo caused a lot of hate and I can understand everyone who quickly puts him on his list just because you remember him as insanely powerful and annoying. But Bunker is the one who makes this combo so powerful because he can kill monsters that would reliably stop Gyo. I will name Saberzor here again.

But as @Unown stated it right: The Problem is Oni, his double OoO and his speed. In my opinion it would make way more sense to make changes to oni and then take a look at how the situation develops. If it still remains that oppressive we can have the big nerf festival that some people suggested here.

Please note I agree. But not the whole game. Only the PvP aspect. PvP needs to change in regards to OoO. OoO combined with sleep immune legends in PvP is absolute cheapeness of the highest order. Oni second OoO is just dumb… Worse than Neridia and Abyss.

It will be sad to lose his double OoO in PVE though.

I can handle Gyo in the FL with OoO
I can handle Lion in the FL with OoO
I can handle Bunker beast in the FL with OoO

I just can’t handle when two of them are together. 1 Over powered sleep immune is enough for a FL.

Gyo can one-shot with a piercing move on its first turn at 63% speed. Bunker gets a turn at 87% speed but has to load mortar, passing 110TU (potted) before it can kill anything. Bunker gives people a chance to get out of a bad situation whereas Gyo can kill the one monster that can save you maybe before it gets a turn. I think Bunker is much safer with Insomnia and it’s monsters like Gyo with makes OoO + sleep immune absurd.

The Saintfeather is a personal favourite of yours I know. However, with OoO it has the ability to swap out a sleeping teammate into a DR stun absorber with taunt. It can then dreamhunt and use the SS at the right time to keep all enemies asleep. Combined with the right sleep immune monsters Saint is too much of an enabler. If you give it Insomnia it’s still a good retribution monster with reasonable speed and can both pull back a monster plus if not dealt with before its second turn it can take over the match with the SS.

Things were fine before we got lots of strong sleep immune monsters. It’s having those which has made OoO too powerful, not just the Oniblade second OoO. If OoO needs making stronger after this then the Devs can add new sleep immune monsters which combo with it and make it stronger, as they did with Jackalhotep.

I truly believe that it’s best to have the norm as Insomnia and only put sleep immunity on the monsters that are designed for combos with OoO. This makes everything a lot safer.

@Saitama Why does OoO need to stay the same in PvE? I understand it doesn’t matter so much if there are broken things for PvE but we also don’t need some monsters to work in overpowered ways in PvE.

@ItsSherlock

Please add another option to your vote thread!

“Is having multiple 6 to 7 star sleep immune monsters with OoO the problem?”

Where are all the complaints coming from?

PvP or PvE?

That is half the answer. A business should only address the source of the complaints. Otherwise customers get upset.

The other half is the fact that we need EVERY POSSIBLE advantage in PVE because we sometimes face buffed monsters that are virtually GOD’s.

Capish?

Sadly I cant edit the poll after it exists for five minutes
