Will this 4vs1 stop one day?

Another OoO post… Maybe I’m getting you bored guys, but that’s actually one of the most powerful and fast settings of the game.
The question is… Is this really fair?

Just use that Centaur thingy dude, I’m sure you have it.

EDIT: The Harpy mythic can deal with it too.

Make a sleep immune FL.There are lots of good OoO counter FL.

@DonT89 it’s a part of the game. Just like cobra, Scorpio, bane or whatever it’s a arch type of the game, and with the amount of insomnia mons at the moment, cent, poison, thlugs running around, it’s actually much tougher than it used to be. You will always be countered by some strat it’s impossible to cover everything.

Yeah but OoO is not like poison gas. Sleep freeze your team… Need a 50 sec restriction, like TT

Ok but what about the other counters I just listed.
poison is just one of many counters to OoO.

I get it feel miserable,

But so does a lot of other strats, cani and epics same thing lose starting 4,

Thlugs, can run through entire team.

Poison with scorp and blacktitan run through an entire team.

Auto protect spam. Based in on luck on bypassing and having the right mons at the right spots.

It’s all about the game and different archetypes.

TT is extremely versatile, OoO isn’t. It’s annoying but fair.

What’s unfair are awakened mythics costing 14 only.

That was necessary to make them viable with SS on. If a base Myth will cost 16 +2 or +3 would you play it?

OoO is way more managable now than before Insomnia existed, it should be very easy to deal with and when you build a team. you just have to take many archtypes in consideration, like can your fl be OoO’ed without much punishment, can you deal with a 80%++ speed poison massacre, can you be stunned etc. Of course playing fun teams won’t deal with all of these but if you’re making a competitive team you should be able to deal with most of these common fl’s

A month later, the developers added sleep immunity to all mythic monsters~

A base mythic used to cost 15 and it was fair, 14 makes the game go too far into pay to win territory.

To answer your question: I mostly play what I like, not top tiers. I do strongly belive on average awakened mythics are worth the 15 cost though, 17 too if their SS is extremely good.

OoO is countered by:

  • Camo which is very common in the current meta

  • poison (+9 cobra will almost always outspeed Oni) which is very common in the current meta

  • Sleep immunity

  • insomnia

  • Monsters with insomnia and purify (!!!) like bolvolcus or Angel

  • Monsters that were specifically built to counter OoO like Cent

  • Mojinator

  • Bane or black titan

The list of counters is very very very long. There really is absolutely no need to nerf it any further

Ok. I guess I’m wrong then.
OoO is ok at 80+ speed because is comfortable for who want a cheap strategy. :ok_hand:
Then people complain about Cani’s underdog :joy:
Better I shut up

I have never complained about Canis underdog. I really find it to be a cool thing

Dunno why you’re complaining, you literally have all monsters in the game and you can do all the counters the game has for OoO

Pulling off an OoO FL in this day and age of neo is actually pretty difficult, with poison everywhere and so much insomnia and fast killers. Don’t get it nerfed, if you’re struggling, cyclo always helps out in aiding to get rid of the OoO, or just run a counter

Because for me any 80+ speed strategy that can lead to an advantage is unfair.
Here is not about running a counter or having certain monsters, is about fairness.
OoO is unfair.
Underdog is unfair.
In some cases I would say even cannibalize is too fast.
But obviously that’s my opinion.
If it was up to me this game was off those toxic strategies.
Never liked cheap things.
I do remember on one pvp I played BB + link holy. Now at distance I get why was so wrong.
So for me those cheap stragies are now totally toxic.
Anyway that’s my point of view, don’t pretend people to share it.

There’s a huge difference with OoO and 80%+ insta sweep. OoO only puts your monsters asleep, you have time to revert it

OoO put you in a 4vs1 except you run a counter. You don’t need to be a genius to play OoO.

At the end of the day, players should be allowed to run any strategy they want, regardless on how “cheap” it is. Sure, OoO is powerful with the right set-up, but there’s plenty of counters to it. Just be thankful that we don’t have anything on the same power as Zibgazer running rampant.
