Okay so next week i have the same difficulty for this week, and who didn’t get will be 10 times easier
So if we use an example:
Let say next week dungeon is 100 floor, we winner this week need to get to 100th floor while others only need to get to 10th floor
Or
In the mission egg rouletee the lose will have 10 times more slot to get the base ark next week
Or
The enemy will be like 10 times weaker for those who don’t have destructor?
That is just some example, but i could understand the point
Edit: i really hope its not like leaderboard and ranked prize because i have seen games with leaderboard like minion rush, immortalis, etc that give x prize to person ranked a-z and they have unbelieveable lead that is not humanly possible (cheats) or require lots of iaps, maybe its wrong comparing the game, but comparing the leaderboards is basically the same
instead of making rare ones a 100 give away can you give out more because even though they are rare it would make it easier and less time can be wasted on the system (im not saying its bad it is excellent but giving out a few more would make it nicer for everyone and less programing for the devs and what not, my opinion disagee or not)
Thanks for the explanation! So let say that I got the destructor next week i finished top 100 i will get it,but for those who haven’t got destructor if they finished top 1000 they will get it
If this is how itgoes i support this policy!
One question though, how you differentiate everyone that win or nit? Do the server keep tracks of each id when giving reward?
Then again you can always try and see how that will go , infinite dungeon event will actually be fun because people are going to fight for the prize so when the event is done , you give the top 10% or 2% or still go by the first 100 people will get the prize … I don’t think its to much to behonest beause basically any one can win not just the top people . we can see what others think . Yea its timer based , & no you dnt need to pay your way up just try and win races to gain RP ( respect points )
It would only be fair if everyone’s party for the dungeon was capped at the same level, like pvp.
That way everyone has a chance at winning (everyone would hit a road block eventually right? As the difficulty would continue to increase) .
So the prizes could go to the top x% of players who got to the highest floor that they could manage.
Also if many people got suck on the same highest floor then the prizes are given on a first come first serve basis for that floor.
There just given to the x% amount of players on the highest floor , i can be on floor 95 and the highest could be on floor 100 , right now i’m top 5 nd is now on that x% so ill get a prize & yes i would agree with a cap lvl but then again i wouldn’t because it wouldn’t be as competitive but the difficulty in the other hand would be good
Let’ say for example 100 players are doing the only mission in week 1, then 10 players will go to pool B.
Now you have 10 monsters to win in pool A and 1 in pool B for the next weeks mission.
Let’s say there will be again 100 players doing the online mission in the second week but there are still only those 10 players in pool B, they have a 1/10 chance to get a monsters but the week after they will have a 1/20 chance to get a monster because of the 100 competing players there will always be 1 monster in pool B and 10 monsters in pool A.
What I’m saying is if you try to give everyone a good chance with this system then it wont work because the players who didn’t win for a long time will have the worst chances in pool B and those players who are always the best will have the best or way better overall chances than the other ones because they will always get into pool B after the first week and will have the best chances the following weeks until week 10 which has the worst chances (in my case 1/100)
Could I suggest as I haven’t seen anyone do so so far on here that a special quest where you get the special creature at the end no matter what because so far I’ve only caught two of the droid creatures and none of the wizpur’s during the rollett which I found frustrating to use
So the chances are even lower to win in pool B because the 1% is not extra but taken from the 10% of pool A, I hope you have lots of monsters who are nearly the same strength so the players won’t just wait with their 10% chance for a really strong monster.
Still that doesn’t change the fact that it will be harder in pool B with each week because it makes a difference whether 10 or 50 People are competing against pool A and at the same time against each other.
Some cats just need to harden up… If you dont win the ark then its your bad… If you do then congrats it shows the commitment you have to this game… The OM wasnt even hard at all so basically anybody could’ve won Destructor i didnt so my bad lol…
So you dudes & dudettes whining about “i didnt win this or that, i was to late” need to step up next time & claim that prize…
Whatever happens with the numbers and whatnot, can one simple thing be changed please? The arks we get out of mission eggs, can we be given the option to feed them? Because I really really don’t need a bunch of 1-5 star arks, and it’d be nice to at least have the option to put them to use, as consolation for not getting the target.
For the record, I didn’t even get a chance at the 100, I had work, and couldn’t really claim a half hour toilet break I haven’t had a good think about how to help this, so I’ll trust in the admin, but I would like to see the intermediate mission eggs (green ones) continue to have the option to win a pre-evolution, so at least some lucky people who miss out will have the rest of the week to farm their way to the ark.
basically, if we allow feeding right now, it will destroy the balance for mid game players. we are working on an update where we turn on the feed switch for people who are at the end of the game (ie got to last town). need some time :)
I want to try to correct what I think is a misunderstanding here. The 1% is not taken from the 10% of Pool A, but from the overal number of players trying for the OM prize. If 1000 players are playing, only 10 in Pool B will get the prize. 100 will get the prize in Pool A.
So, question for admin, and I hope i’m not stirring the pot here, but in past events, the winners from the previous event did not count against the top finishers for the prize. Is that discontinued in favor of the new system?
The thing I see as an issue is the fact that there is a great potential for a subset of players who camp for the mission to repeat their success as the top 1% of pool B week after week, getting each mission monster and shutting out all the players who admittedly got something when they won Pool A, but now can’t compete well in Pool B.
Still thinks it is A bad idea to punish the small pool of hardcore players for the benefit of the major playerbase (that Was the reason that wow lost so many players) because they made it to easy for everyone the only fair thing Would be to release the monster A week after the online mission sharing same spawnrates as hatchlings, starters, that Way the people that have played the game the most Will have A reason to continue to do so and the more casual players will still have A chance to get the monster, the monster should however only be allowed to spawn in the Wilds for A week. So my suggestion is A rotationsystem that should be able to satisfy A larger playerbase
I will say this again. It is not punishing the small group of hardcore people for the benefit of the major group. It’s HELPING the major group.
It would be a small amount of spots for both groups normally. Now it’s still the same small amount of spots for the hardcore group, but helping the non-hardcore group out.
No punishments have occurred. Nothing has changed at all for us hardcore players.
