Mission Fair Practice Policy

Oh, that wasn’t sarcasm if you took it that way, sorry. I really have no idea haha.

I forgot to add earlier that Ambi’s idea was good, but I wouldn’t mind either way.

As long as it’s possible to eventually collect every Arkadion ppl will be happy. That’s why ppl r freaking out. They’re worried they won’t be able to “catch them all.” That’s what made these kinds of games successful. So again, if every Arkadion is obtainable at some point ppl will be thrilled. But, at the same time, it can’t be something stupid like the 0.5% spawn rate of hatchlings and starters. So it’s up to the devs how to figure that part out.

I have to disagree with you there, 0.5% is not as horrifying as you think. As you said before, I agree that people will be thrilled if there’s a chance to get them all. And there is, even if it’s 0.5%.

Look at it this way: OM has a MUCH higher chance of getting arkadions than 0.5%. BUT it’s also temporary and limited. But the 0.5% will always be in the game, never changing. The hatchlings and starters will always stay where they are, unlike OM arkadions.

Alright I hear you. As long as you can get them all everyone will be happy. But at the same time maybe increase the spawn rate. 0.5% is hilariously low. Even in games like Dragonvale there’s at least a 2% chance of breeding the rarest and/or limited dragons.

one word. geomon. there were extremely low chances of getting a laurelix, and getting a persona took iap. the tournament was kind of pay to play. but people played anyways just for that amazing feeling where you find a rare esper. now in hunter island, you have fair events, some low chances, and you can do it without iap. 0.5? thats nothing. if monsters were available for everyone to find easily, pvp would be destroyed. would you rather not have to work at all for your monsters or would you rather work hard and feel good that you managed to get the monsters you wanted. people are complaining like crazy here, and its totally unneccecary. look at the facebook page. people are complaining about an amazing game because they dont wanna take the effort to hunt for monsters and would instead pay their way there or cheat. We shouldnt be complaining. the devs are working hard to keep the game balanced and make everyone happy.

0.5% isn’t that low when you add the fact that it’s per monster and not per battle. I’ve seen worse spawn rates in monster catching games. Think Pokemon and DIB.

This is true, perhaps we should start wording it this way to avoid confusion.

There is a max of three, yes? So that is 1.5% of having a dragon/starter each battle with three monsters, 1.0% of having a dragon/starter each battle with two monsters, and 0.5% of having a dragon/starter each battle with one monster.

Yep, so when you think about it it’s pretty much 0.5%-1.5%

I think this is the only major problem here…

If everyone can “get them all” everyone will be happy

The devs said they were working on it but it would take time…

Just need to figure out how to not make it too easy after the event !

And then all the frowns turn to smiles

Yea they shouldn’t change the % rate of the hatchlings its perfect where its at , no need to make it easy to catch so ppl can just spamm with omegawyrn , lol . But this game is perfect where it’s at no need to change stuff cuz ppl want the game to be extremely easy now … You know ? Lets change stuff to improve the game instead

Maybe have a special spot where you get a hatchling probability of spawning one of the event arcs.

That way if you need one in particular you need to be lucky and get the right spawn and also be lucky and get the right event arc to spawn

That way is still is difficult and shouldn’t be too hard to implement

And if you add the fact that people that got it from event have a S grade farming them would be less easy.

I’m open to seeing how this goes. I was one of the ones who did get the Destructor but I have no problem with giving other players more of a chance to get one too.

I apologize if I’m not quite understanding this but the new rules state that they will go into affect next challenge so if we were one of the ones to get the 100 this week does that automatically put you into Pool B for next week?

Or does everyone start fresh and then you hop into Pool B as you win a challenge?

I mean i did clearify any confusion a few post up ,

Wait the online mission opened up again. Does that mean we get another 100?

No

we are looking into more tiers for prizes, but we dont have that capability right now, so it will take time. this game is timer based right? you have to pay your way up into the top? assuming thats the case, we dont wanna be compared! having said that, its an interest thought, make an infinite event dungeon, players in the deepest part of the dungeon wins the prize? but isnt that too much?

Let see, I won a destructor this week, that makes me inside pool A or pool B for next week online mission?

After reading thoroughly I am more confused, so next online mission is about leaderboard? Not clearing dungeons anymor? Or what?

Sorry can someone explain detaily with example in HI, not in other game? Like maybe each floor cleared in next online mission will count toward leaderboard progress or something like that

Last i played dragonvale its not an heavy pvp based more or like a farmville type of game (its so long ago though so maybe ther is an update), not to be rude but comparing HI to those kind of game is kinda like comparing player from an archery tournament with football tournament

sorry for the confusion, i was just talking about something for the future, for now in your case, the next one will be as difficult as this week’s as you won. for those who lost its 10x easier.

I retract my earlier complain now that I see how the system works. Question though.

Admin (or anyone that knows the answer, really), you say the 1% will be for people who win that have already won a prize. Do you think it might be possible to implement a MINIMUM prize pool though? Eg 100-300 ish.
I like the idea more now, but still feel that any lower than 100 is just too little.

Also, I really love the idea of secondary/tertiary prizes. Like an S destructor top prize for the first 100, maybe an E destructor for the next 200 and a semi rare ark for the next 2-500.
