Any reason why the 3 first? i feel they die relatively easy often. This is in master league.
I think becasue of:
Alpha rage/call air/retreat (xoneslash is useless if there is a water ARK up… so call air(bring up don) retreat >don now in opening three to take care of your water problem)
Tachyon/beastbane (the first due to it’s ability to wreck other elemtles types, and the second in case of beasts(vegitiger comes to mind))
Xenoslash/metalslash (if baric is up) (the abilities as well as what i mention above i think might help give a good idea) =D
Im sure Tiberius the Triphoon will shed more light though.
Yes, Yonfire is correct. However, I did not realize that you were in master league.
Destructor
Arkwing
Snowja
Shisaguard
Goldenhorn
Bloodclaw
Infernowyrm
Barricadus
Minespider
Rooknight
Subzeratops
Vegitiger
Angelon
Omegawyrm
Don Penguini
Try that out? I’d go into detail, but I’m short on time. If you really don’t understand the placement of any of these monsters, please let me know~
Hey tiberius, my team seems to be winning 50% or the time, so id like some advice (keep in mind no egg only monsters and only destructor and meowzard and minoblast as event monsters)
my current lineup:
meowzard
angelon
luxknight
kentucky
firequeen
metallodius
mechadino
arkwing
voltiger
minoblast
destructor
pyrowyrm
plasmorex
coldheart
don penguini (i had a showdon tactic, but i replaced it to use angelon for holy vanguard)
looking for a better lineup, i can do anyting without egg only monsters or subzeratops. also, id prefer to have a linep without omegawyrm, at least until i can find the time to farm to get one. im in master league
Ah, the good ol Firequeen+Meoqzard. You’re going to want to protect your monsters then.
Raioh
Kentucky
Chopperbug
Gremknight
Barricadus
Firequeen
Meowzard
Voltiger
Arkwing
Metallodius
Nilomoth
Minoblast
Angelon
Don Penguini
Anubis/halopard/raijin
For the last monster, you should use judgment. You can Polymorph, blood/chaosmagic, sacrifice for don, etc. This is built around getting you the opportunity to use strategic moves. This is not a brute-force team by any means, and requires a lot of understanding and skill in execution. If you have any questions, please ask.
And if it doesn’t seem to work, let me know. Tell me the problems and I’ll try to work them out
Here’s my new team:
Chopperbug
Gremknight
Luxknight
Raijin
Stegospike
Angelon
Rooknight
Vegitiger
Barricadus
Minespider
Astroleon
Arkwing
Omegawyrm
Rahoi
Don
I have got all the egg-only Arks, like Goldenhorn, Bloodclaw, Volcawolf, Subzeratops, Infernowyrm, Pegasion, Charcalynx, Shisaguard, Snowja, Spinoflame, Frillzeon etc. But I found some of them not suitable for PVP or quite situational (e.g. Snowja) so haven’t put them into my team. I have also got all the in-game Arks.
Any tips on how I should improve?
Many thanks!
It’s late, I have homework…I’ll keep this one short.
Chopperbug
Raioh
Goldenhorn
Gremknight
Vegitiger
Subzeratops
Minespider
Snowja
Barricadus
Nilomoth
Bloodclaw
Omegawyrm
Angelon
raijin
Don Penguini
Try that for now, tell me how it works, I’ll fix the issues~
Thank you, your time is much appreciated.
I understand the reason for most of your suggestion, except that why Goldenhorn at the beginning? It does not have anything that stands out to me, plus people rarely use fire Arks as their startup? And why Bloodclaw at that position?
I am surprised that both Arkwing and Luxknight do not make to the list!
Edit: Great the Goldenhorn just broke a stego+charcalynx+haste combo for me! It tanked all the stun from Stego and then the opponent rage quited.
Is this why you put the Goldenhorn at the beginning, or is there another reason?
But it was pretty close though, I am glad that the opponent didn’t realise the stun from Stego + time strike from Gremknight could have killed my Goldenhorn.
Goldenhorn is there for its passive ability and its guardian move, preventing stun and boosting the defenses of Gremknight and Vegitiger.
@edit - yea, this is why.
Bloodclaw is there for two reasons. It’s by barricadus and milo moth so they can protect and heal him, as he is a heavy hitter. Also, if that should fail, people will go for it more often, leaving them with a lot of TU for when Omegawyrm comes out. Then it’s a no guard+terminate.
Thanks! Just got the Mossgolem and am thinking about where to put him.
Frillzeon should be viable now too as I can foresee many players will stick their Earth Arks together for the Ally Fist.
I have tried a number of battles but still can’t see Bloodclaw’s damage potential. His Angelbane only works against Halopad and Luxknight (but I doubt he will be able to one shot Luxknight; Angelon is a dragon not angelic). Not many Humanoid around. Metal slash is good against destructor and Barricadus, but I think Luxknight can do a similar job too? Or is it a heavy hitter because of his AOE attack?
AOE most of the time, metal slash for ofhers.
You will fall in love with metal slash.
Barricasus, minespider, cruiserfish, gear wolf, iron heart, scorpionix, destructor, guardiron, and a few others.
Metal monsters are some of the most powerful in the game. It’s important to take them out quickly.
When Octoneer is released, you should definitely replace bloodclaw with it.
Sooo i would love your help just got stegospike, charca, rooknight, bloodclaw, pegasion… But im having trouble running the perma stun… They always seem to jump infront of my charca and im not sure why any tips?
You told me to give this a try for my pvp team.
Raioh
Anubis
Luxknight
Pegasion
Coldheart
bloodclaw
Barricadus
Arkwing
Gremknight
Nilomoth
Dreadwolf
Magmawyrm
Omegawyrm
Angelon
Don Penguini
I just won a astroleon from an egg. Is it worth putting that in somewhere?
Thanks
Tiberius, you gave me a lineup with the start as chopperbug
Kentucky
Raioh
Gremknight
Barricadus
Firequeen
Meowzard
I’ve noticed that when I’m battling, the opponent will clear out te first three but wont attack gremknight, leaving me with firequeen and no meowzard. This allows me to only use minoblast, not polymorph because polymorph would only work on the last one. Do you think i should move gremknight farther back? If so, where? Or is there another monster that I should swap it with?
Astroleon isn’t that great in my opinion. There will be stronger monsters in the future that you should use…but I am not fond of Astro. He isn’t very strong, and isn’t very strategic.
This is good. The point of this is to summon as many firesoldiers as you can. This is mostly for minoblast, which is why I put him near metallodius, Angelon, and nilomoth. However, if fire queen sacrifices itself…you’re free to use meowzard, and you can do so if you want. Maybe use it once, and if you get something good, build your strategy off of that? Or if it’s bad, minoblast it.
Meowzard is risky. Minoblast is not. This is far from an ideal team. Gigarock and Roidguard work…it’s very difficult to work with this.
I made this team assuming that you wanted to keep your strategy…I’d much rather have you use something else until the above monsters are released.
Could use a hand this is my team right now any advice?
Raioh, chopper bug, Kentucky, gremknight, ark wing, dread wolf, barricadus, luxknight, omegawyrm, pyrowyrm, frillzeon, magamwyrm, angelon, raijin, and don.
Any improvements I should make?
I have just about every monster in game except tremor back and the parts for it but I do have bloodclaw and minoblast
So if I’m to use something else, what do you think an ideal strategy and team for a non egg only/no omega wyrm team?
I see what you’re trying to do, and it’s great to see that you’re using strategy. I am quite fond of army flame, but it’s very dangerous to use.
Try this…
Chopperbug
Raioh
Kentucky
Magmawyrm
Frillzeon
Pyrowyrm
Dreadwolf
Barricadus
Gremknight
Arkwing
Luxknight
Omegawyrm
Angelon
Raijin
Don
Lyrux - feel free to browse any of the strategies you like. Many of the ones here are non-egg-only…Tell me what you like, and even if it has omegawyrm, I can change that up slightly.
Thanks I’ll try that
Tell me if something’s going badly.
Anyways…once more monsters come out, I can give better advice. There aren’t many really good monsters out atm
