Hey Toberius! Just wanted to pop in the last setup we discussed worked very well but since then I’ve grown my pool of monster quite a bit.
Just wanted to say two things.
Love your lineup for the all S rank team(don’t have destructor but gave it a shot with chopper bug in it’s place) can I just it’s very fun to play.
I think rooknight + baric is on of my most favorite things to do, very entertaining when people don’t realize he will hit for so much and start swing at other arks.
Glad that you like it. Destructor is an absolutely fantastic monster, but Chopperbug works just fine. It’s a monster that some people consider to be to weak to use. However, it’s a fantastic arkadion, and can really give your foes a bad headache.
Aye, Rook+Barry is a fantastic combination. I remember reading the threads saying how Barricadus was so bad. It was very funny to me. Rooknight is weak. Barricadus is weak. But put them together, and you just might have something going for ya. It’s really a fantastic strategy, and it was my pleasure to have shared it with you all.
Try that. If the Raioh dies, good. attack with Anubis using its ally move, and then send him back with pegasion to guardian and offer with don penguini. The middle will most likely be the climax of the battle. It’s based on protecting, speeding yourself up, hitting hard, hitting harder, and then healing.
Tell me how it works after a few battles. If there are some issues, I’ll help fix them. Again, i apologize in advance…I’ll do what I can, but I am not too great with unfamiliar monsters…
I was doing okay in the lower leagues but I usually lose 3 in a row in masters. I changed my line to the following
Nilomoth
Magmawyrm
Omegawyrm
Angelon
Dreadwolf
Don penguini
My personal preference’s, I like grem before barry for a few reasons. Haste of course, Knockback to metalslash users before he(barry) comes out, and if they want at your Arkwing dead first aoe would be the fastest method but grem would most likely die first giving a nice little stun out. I moved astroleon down a notch for vengence increased damage and if Ark stays alive and astro doesn’t you get this:
Last fury on arkwing (for more damage), followed by nilo to risky heal if need be.
Again, I’m not super awesome but just some idea’s for you.
This is going to be very odd to throw out there but why not seems like you’re interested in the combo and this might help.
Chopperbug
Raioh
Kentucky
Magmawyrm
Frillzeon
flamogun (added) (metalslash that barry, he also has allyslash for decent damage, dracobane, and burnblade to get around tanks if need be)
Sorry bout that folks. Anyways, Yonfire’s suggestions work, but realize that the people in the higher leagues have far superior monsters. As of right now, options are extremely limited. I’m trying to keep from giving people the exact same line-ups. If I wanted, I would tell everyone a lineup that I know works well…but then we’d have another crisis. The stun issue rose when people started copying Charcalynx+Stego. I made it a few weeks ago without realizing that people may copy it and overuse it. I’m sure Ashley’s team will be copied once the monsters come out.
The biggest problem is trying to keep diversity while still forming great teams. Tis difficult, as there are only a handful of actually good monsters in the game.
Mind telling me exactly how you’re losing? I don’t battle in expert, so I’m not used to the strategies that are common there.
Usually I’m off to a great start with the stun skins followed by the army flame combo but then I just get out muscled by all the egg only s rank super strong Arks that are every where
Ah. So it’s not a big problem with strategy. It’s basically opponents that are too strong.
Umm…hmmm…this is vexing. Your best bet is to wait a couple OM. If my hunches are correct, some very strategic monsters will come out, and I’ll happily assist you in using those new arks~
Unfortunately, for now…there isn’t much that can be done. Stun or Egg-only both dominate the PVP realm. Pretty soon we can introduce stasis, sum/sac, powerhouse, army teams…but for now, there’s not much we can do but wait.
Just started using this lineup. Ive been just messing around a bit. I have all possible arks except destructor and astroleon. I win most matches in master league. I just now was about to beat someone with a bunch of 10-12 star arks that ive never seen but got disconnected.
What do you think?
Well someone was. I didnt invite. They had like 5 or 6 ive never seen. Guardian, some iron cat thing, kaiawyrm maybe, cryptowyrm or crypto something was 12 stars, and two arks in the beginning i couldnt even remember. That was tough!
I like him in PvP but your gut instinct is telling you exactly what to expect, I’ve gotten him to finish off 3-4 ARK’s before but generally you get a 1 for 1
Try that instead. You might notice that battles may be harder without Stegospike. However, it’s important to get rid of it now so that you have experience without. The update will weaken him, so it’s smart to know how to win without “OP Stun” Tell me how it works~
He’s good, but he’s not very strategic. It’s more of a “HA, I KILL YOU NOW” kind of arkadion. n.n
There may be some heal strategies that can be incorporated, but meh…but as of right now, it’s a very powerful arkadion compared to everything else. That will change soon, though~
i use army flame at the beginning, then try to have at least one of the opponents monsters have very low health but not dead, so after bloodclaw is killed, that leaves the opponent with a lot of tu, so i use charcalynx to hopefully one shot the monster that has low health. gremknight may haste or stun if the monster is not killed immediately, then the rest is basically brute force. if minespiders time bomb still counts the tu spent at the beginning if it is sendbacked, i may want to put that in somewhere, or maybe some haste monsters if you think its necessary. i have pretty much every monster currently available, so you can put anything. Thanks in advance.
