Just added two new YouTubers to Neomonsters YouTubers. They are NML_Snowfall and @CMPxFUAD. Go check them out if you want to see more content being released!
Just added two event ideas I wrote back in April to the “big ideas” section of KD’s Recommendations for the game. The first is a little like Island Challenge in some ways while the second is a bit like Dungeon Challenge… at least in terms of team building. However, the events are much more involved and might have widespread interest. Here they are…
6) Island exploration event ideas
“Return to the islands”
What we do is we’re given some starting monsters then go out and explore to find the powerful monsters, catch them, and build our team to progress through the islands. Each time they vary which are the powerful monsters available and where they’re hidden. Monsters are automatically trained/evolved when we catch them and we don’t get them outside of the event. There will be one new SE in the event somewhere which if we catch it then we get it gifted to our reward box.
There are trainers we need to beat for rewards, checkpoints only at towns (death sets us back to the last we healed at) and at the end of it all is a series of, say, 5 challenging battles that require different approaches to beat.
I think this would be a great way of encapsulating what the original offline story does in an event that can come out every few months for us to enjoy each time, rather than releasing another island which we go through in a couple of hours and never play again.
"The mythical isles"
Here we use our own teams and have to explore around increasingly tough islands, beating trainer battles to progress. At the end of the final island is a super boss version of a mythic.
We don’t get rewards for beating the trainers. Instead, we’re tasked to hunt down all the monsters (it’s a scientific expedition we’ve been sent on to study monsters by the professor). We need to find and kill each monster that exists in the wild and at milestones we get rewards. We have a counter on the screen for the island we’re on (e.g. 14/80) so we can see how many we still need to find.
The way team building is made interesting is you can only save your progress and heal if you make it to a checkpoint. These are towns around the place. It’ll be similar-ish to Dungeon Challenge for team building but you don’t have to go quite so extreme for survival and when it comes to the trainer battles you’ll need to be prepared for that challenging fight while also being able to both travel to and back from the trainer to the safety of a town.
This event idea has slightly more focus on exploration than the one above.
@Killerdog there’s a guy called SilentKiller I think you should add him too
Send me a link to his YouTube channel and I will
Added a more extensive breakdown of the best places to farm exp for hero rank to KD’s Hero Rank guide. Thanks to @MementoMori for highlighting that I was missing options when I hastily wrote the guide before. For any of you planning to level up, here is the information for you…
Exp farming
The amount of experience needed beyond hero rank 260 gets extreme. If you want to achieve a high hero rank you’re going to need to find a good place to farm exp.
Note: Whichever mission you’re farming, be sure to create a specific farming team that clears the battle quickly.
Here are the best options and when to do them:
-
Trainer’s dojo, last stand, first battle = 60xp / 0 tickets (just time)
This is occasionally useful for getting the last bit of exp needed for a level if you have time to go through all the refilled tickets. -
Ingredients missions (pyramid/elemental/mouth) = 4000/3000/3500xp / 30/25/25 tickets (133/120/140 exp/ticket)
These are less efficient than the online story options (roughly half the best) but use up tickets quite quickly (especially the pyramid mission). They feel like less of a grind to do than the chapter 4 mission but the main benefit is you’re also stocking up on almost all the ingredients you’ll need for evolving monsters.
This is a great option all the way through hero rank 0-100 as well as beyond, but will get tiresome beyond hero rank 200 due to the heavier time investment and lower exp efficiency. -
Chapter 4, shadow area final battle: 2440xp / 9 tickets (271 exp/ticket)
This is technically the most efficient but takes lots of time to use up your tickets. It’s great for the early-game to boost up your hero rank to 100. -
Chapter 7, final battle = 5400xp / 22 tickets (245 exp/ticket)
This is the second best option for efficiency. However, it saves you a lot more time by using more than double the tickets per battle compared to the chapter 4 mission. Building a team to clear it quickly requires a better collection so it’s probably more for people hero rank 100+. -
Hell mode chapter 2, final battle = 7140xp / 30 tickets (238 exp/ticket)
Practically the same efficiency as the chapter 7 final battle but this uses even more tickets each time and there’s no story to click through. Any hell mode chapter 2 battle will give you the same exp so it depends on which you can build a team for to beat quickly. The final battle has fewer monsters so is theoretically the easiest to do in 1 minute or under.
This is arguably the best option to farm exp efficiently with the least amount of time effort. However, most other options are easier to build teams for. -
Chapter 8, final battle = 6480xp / 32 tickets (203 exp/ticket)
Another extremely fast way to burn through tickets with the right team. However, the efficiency is lower. This is much easier to build a team for than hell mode chapter 2. -
Hell mode chapter 8, final battle = 9240xp / 50 tickets (185 exp/ticket)
This is the fastest way to use tickets. The battle can be done incredibly fast, there’s no story to click through and it uses the most tickets per battle. 24 hours worth of tickets can be used in 5 minutes. This is the option for the ultimate lazy farming.
Here’s a breakdown of each chapter and region of the online story detailing the best exp/ticket available in that region…
Chapter | Storm | Earth | Fire | Water | Holy | Shadow | Lost area | Hell mode |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
2 | 2 | 5 | 8 | 16 | 14 | 30 | 38 | 238 |
3 | 66 | 72 | 78 | 84 | 96 | 86 | 100 | 213 |
4 | 167 | 186 | 222 | 235 | 228 | 271 | 260 | 196 |
5 | 195 | 198 | 203 | 203 | 198 | 202 | 206 | 205 |
6 | 200 | 212 | 214 | 216 | 182 | 160 | 233 | 190 |
7 | 215 | 219 | 223 | 227 | 228 | 238 | 245 | 178 |
8 | 206 | 204 | 205 | 204 | 202 | 203 | 203 | 185 |
Thanks for acknowledge me but i only pointed out boss battle chapter 8. Chapter 7 final battle looks much better i will give it a try to see if it’s viable to me time wise
My battle of choice is hell mode chapter 2 final battle (the Atrahasis megaboss). However, without the right monsters it may be tricky to do quickly and reliably.
My strategy is: Dragulus, Scarleguard, Dracorosa, Delugazar.
Scarleguard and Dragulus grab kills at the start then Dracorosa softens up the Onyxia and Shadowyrm so Delugazar can get 2 kills on them (swift chrono killer then timestrike). From there I basically kill the monsters using the killer moves and after 2 protector killers with Dragulus it lines up to bloodthirst the boss followed by the double bloodthirst from Delugazar to kill the final monster + Tortogeist.
It’s all over in 40-50 seconds I think.

I will give it a try as well thanks for the advice from that i only have Delugazar and Scarle but i will modify it according to my collection
Cool channel. I’ve added it to the thread and subscribed.
My concept was to charge Delugazar and spam double bloodthirst with give turn but then it turned out my FL was aggressive enough and could find targets the whole way. It might be possible to go down the give turn route more heavily to clear the battle, perhaps with stun to help set it up. Scarleguard is key in order to take out the buffed Novadrake at the beginning. Dragulus or Delugazar for a quick boss kill is very good too.
The enemies are 1.48x buffed with the line-up:
Onyxia, Shadowyrm, Novadrake, Fluffurious; Rattlewyrm, Voodoom, Phantomaiden, Tortogeist, Banedragon, Deathgazer, Atrahasis (super boss)
@Killerdog is it true that that’s dolphreeze SS only makes him 14 cost or did you make a mistake?
It becomes 16 cost
Thanks for spotting that! I’ve changed it to 16 now. It originally made it 14 cost back at release when it had dolphin tsunami (150s stun to all enemies, usable only with Dolphoenix).

it’s my youtube channel, i will upload more pvp videos later
Added version 2.14 to KD’s Version update history along with the extra additions/details:
- Changed the wording on some moves for better consistency (e.g. “attack boost fast” on Sanctallion became “swift attack boost” and “fast accelerate team” on Chromera became “swift accelerate team”).
- Changed the delete monsters screen so you can no longer delete ingredients.
- Fixed an issue with game launch and loading time whereby having too many monsters (ingredients) on your account made things very slow (e.g. KD had 7000 monsters on his account and it took 4 minutes to load into the game on a brand new phone, 7 minutes on an older model phone).
@Killerdog are the devs going to give you the new icons so you can add them to the Player’s Icons Preview?
Icon do not get revealed before any player have them.
I’ve literally just asked them if I can have them all sent to me. However, as Alex says… I may need to delay releasing them until people have had enough time to earn them (i.e. a couple of months). I’ll keep you informed if that’s the case.
I’m asking because it would be nice to have a preview of them before completing the bond quest to choose the ones we like more
