Win Rate! Win Rate! Win Rate?

Because I believe seeing other ppl teams hurts team building creativity, which makes the game stale which makes the game less fun which is the whole point of this thread, do you follow the logic?

That’s why I made my shotty attempt at creating a poll lol I’m genuinely interested in what ppl think.

I think playing a competitive game without a win rate and battle log to think about just seemed more pleasant and easier on the pysce of players.

Most ppl don’t have enough monsters to copy teams, don’t you think it’s unfair to restrict 99% players ability to improve just because 1% may copy?

I would argue 99% ppl don’t have all mins so they can’t copy most teams anyways, I don’t think it’s fair to take away 99 percent players to reflect and improve because 1% may copy

I agree with this, ppl still don’t want you copying their homework even if it’s bad.

Plus youtuber setups can be copied too, I don’t think removing battle log will stop ppl who REALLY wanna copy

They can’t

Yet but they’ll try, which sets off the chain reaction I mentioned above.

There are millions playing, plus once ppl reach a certain level they quit, it’s a pyramid always thicker at bottom

Ive been playing for more than a yr and I’m no where close of having all monsters

They’ll try to improvise! That’s the beauty of the game!

I’m thinking your initial poll wouldn’t have been so skewed if those were accurate reasons for why no one wants it removed.

Also you still haven’t explained how removing it would somehow bring about all the change you’re talking about. Annoying a good portion of players for the greater good of the game makes sense.

From my understanding, removing the winrate display would only help out players who meet the following criteria:

  1. They care a lot about their overall winrate and value it over performance in ranked pvp; anyone who cares more about ranked wouldn’t be swayed either way by not being able to see their unranked winrate. They might be a little annoyed tho

  2. They don’t care so much about their winrate that they’d manually calculate it by adding up the games they’ve played. Those who care about their winrate this obsessively are beyond hope and would only feel inconvenienced.

  3. They feel restricted or forced to run various pvp strats specifically when they see their winrate drop. Players who feel this way whenever they lose more often won’t be helped since they are still going to notice those losses regardless of whether their winrate is readily displayed.

That narrows it down quite a bit. I’d dare say that’s enough to consider it an unnecessary change.

If you can’t copy why do you care if you can see it? The answer is so you can copy lol

The second one is a ? You misquoted me.

So YOU CAN IMPROVE AND IMPROVISE! you’re an old time player and you have monsters plus you don’t have a good battle log, no wonder you think everyone will try to copy, because you are the person who’d copy👀

Intentional to make the meme funnier

Ahh got it! Continue sir :joy:

How would taking away the view enemy team feature prevent 99% of players from reflecting on their teambuilding?

Think about this: this feature didn’t exist for the vast majority of the game’s history. For all that time were players unable to improve their teambuilding by facing other teams? Unless you have massive short term memory loss, you’ll still remember a lot of what your opponent used in their team without being spoon fed the entire lineup.

My theory is that @MVP_Octopus suffered from short term memory loss and would completely forget what his opponent’s teambuilding was like if he can’t view all sixteen slots after the battle. That explains why removing the enemy team feature would prevent him improving his teambuilding.
