Why can give turn monsters target link dual give turn monsters?

I was facing a pvp team where there was a tardigrenade, bloomeluga, and samurai frog . So first bloom load mortar, then tardigrenade give turns to samurai frog, then samurai frog give turn dual to bloomeluga and tardi, bloomeluga tsunami mortars 2 of my monsters to death, then tardigrenade give turn to samurai frog again, samurai frog give turn’s to tardi and bloom again, bloom loads mortar and tardi give turn to samurai frog once again, samurai frog give turn dual again to tardi and bloom again, bloom once again tsunami mortars my team. Give turn monsters can’t give turn to other give turners but why can they give turn to link give turners?

I guess link dual give turn is an exception, but it really shouldn’t be allowed

Link GT is not TT. You can’t give turn to TT monsters only.

It acts like a team turn as in you can get about 4 turns free when in this loop

Give turn and team turn should be eliminated from Neo altogether

Give turn cant give to another team turn monster.
Thats the big nerf since i stopped some while ago.

I’ve actually taken issue with this before. The reason that Team turns are prevented from being targeted by give turn is because it’s just a free way to turn 1 turn into multiple for no real penalty. And then we have link dual give turn; while obviously it doesn’t give 4 turns at once, it can be used 3 whole times, which means you can just jump back and forth between gt and dual gt, and give a third monster a total of 4 turns in the blink of an eye, all stemming from a single gt. So the same logic with which they nerfed TT should easily apply to dual GT as well. It’s honestly amazing to me that nothing’s been done after all this time.

I think GT and LDGT combo is great. No need to nerf it :smiling_imp::smiling_imp::smiling_imp:. what was the ign of the player you fought…? If he was using a full water team the ik who he’s

I’m not gonna lie, I have abused this in the past, and still will if given the opportunity. Typically I was doing this with Samurai Frog and Seahowl to give Gyo a few turns to chew into the enemy team, and you can certainly believe that the day I get a Tardigrenade its gonna happen again.

That aside, I do agree it’s a pretty gnarly combo, but the mons that can do it are generally pretty slow and weak to Chrono Killer that a number of Roaring Entrance mons have. This strategy is strong, but GT to TT was definitely stronger as once you used the TT you got 4 turns regardless of whether a Roaring Entrance Chrono Killer came in.

That’s my two cents at least.

Personally I think we shouldn’t be able to give turn to any monster than can give turn to 2+ monsters more than once. Monsters like Grovo and Tygo should still be possible to give turns because you’re having to put two monsters in to get two turns, they’re not abusable.

Also, to make monsters with moves that give turn to 2+ monsters all come under the restriction of TT whereby they can’t be used if you have a teammate that can give turn to 2+ monsters. Again, this prevents abuse and horrible combos that might arise.

This strategy has been used for Ages why nerfing it now… I like this strategy
Gyo+Stag+Tardie+Blacktitan and LDGT in #5 is still popular

People who support LINK Dual Give Turn strategies are more likely to kill in the name of an ideology, it’s been proved by Cambridge University.

Strange they nerf team turn if the give turner can give another one without restriction.

I agree, this shouldn’t exist. Same with Link Slayerbane All.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Team Turn’s tu restriction upped to 100tu either, that way it’d be harder to “cheat it” on the first turn with a skip.

So what about Slayerbane All?

If Magma was problem with Dual Slayerbane, now he’s a bigger problem that you just don’t see as often. Simple as that.

No, I really don’t think that’s necessary. This is pvp we’re talking about, there’s a very solid chance you’ll get cut short by an enemy forcing you to take your turn, in which case you’ll have to wait quite a bit longer than 100 TU in order to set it off. Frankly, dare I say it, Team Turn is quite balanced in the state that it’s in nowadays. More than what I can say for mister 4-free-turns Froggy over here.

I agree 100%, and I use it.

That said that skip trick shouldn’t be possible either.
