Nophiam puts a shield on every entering monster. Why are you expecting to use the secret skill to set everything up? It is very normal in a battle to be killing/removing enemies and having your teammates die. Nophiam doesn’t need to focus on lining up angel meat, it just naturally happens sometimes. In fact, since you have 50TU purify ex you can sometimes line it up on purpose forcing the opponent to kill, say, a protector teammate.
If you looks at Nophiam’s clone move vs Honghua’s clone move they are similar TU and Honghua’s does not have a restriction so yes you could say it’s a stronger move. However, the point is that Honghua has to do that in order to attack (so its first attack is 34% speed + 80TU) whereas Nophiam doesn’t need to do angel meat at all, it’s pure upside, and what it creates is a shielded Nophiam which gets a turn pretty quickly. Good luck killing that one! I am almost certain that’s why people are saying it’s a better clone move.
If you’re looking at Nophiam as a clone monster you are thinking about it wrong. It is a tanky, support, void sweeper with everything efficient TU, good speed, double immunities, shields your whole team and can sometimes remove dead weight or clone itself to really take over a battle. The only requirement is you run piercing monsters… which are plentiful at this point.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the design and think it’s a good monster for the game. But it’s stacked with so many strong aspects and that’s why I think a small-ish speed reduction would make it avoid being oppressive. Honestly, it’s the type of nerf people should get on board with because otherwise there’s a risk it proves too strong long-term and gets a heavier nerf.
Two reasons:
It’s common to not stun all enemies. So it gives more time for anything not stunned to kill it. Right now the window is quite small.
It slows down how quickly the monster it copies will get a turn. The way the stun can lead into the copied monster getting a turn and killing things is powerful.
I think changing the domination move basically spoils the design of what Pandora is meant to achieve. I think if people had a bigger window to kill it when it first enters then it would be much less of a problem, which is why I suggest a speed nerf.
In the original thread when we first saw it? I’m pretty sure I said something like “if this came out a couple of years ago it would be broken” and went on to say it’s only kept in check by void moves… but I’ve since decided actually it probably is still too good.
It wouldn’t change. My suggestion still allows it to work as normal but you have to not play stun counters. After all, Van Sith is clearly all about stun absorbers
Conversely, honghua needs buff. She is totally useless in PvP,she don’t need sleep immunity instead she needs stun immunity looking at her passive. Also 34 speed to 60 speed as she can’t do much without cloning.
There are many broken mons to look for like astra,Pandora,brida(it’s been too long) but no they have to nerf a balanced mythic. As it is shop mythic and def better among other shop ones so most people will buy and use it. And people just call for a nerf without any factcheck. Nophiam is strong but not at the level of broken. He himself rate him A and now as many people are using him as he is available for all people are just whinning.A little bit of disappointment from kd.However his other points seems valid for me.
Tenguko doesn’t need to be nerfed. She’s fine. Since the stun nerf, all players have lost their fear of being stunned, and the dev limitations have also contributed to her being broken by always limiting counter-stuns.
She’s actually pretty good now with Chubpoon. I’ve lost against her an embarrassing number of times. The full defence, high HP and healing every time a clone enters can make her a big problem to kill so if she catches you without a way to take her out she can do very well. I don’t think she needs any further buffs. Both her and Chubpoon have had plenty.
I put it A tier on release because I thought it would take effort to build around. Turns out there’s enough piercing that it isn’t a problem. I made the same undervaluation of Bridalith when it came out. I intend to move it to S-. It’s very strong but not broken. Don’t lump me in with people whining
The problem is when he is paired with Bridalith’s instant entrance. No only she is automatically creating 4 targets for Nophiam, but also pushing an enemy back 100sec. Once you solve that issue, he becomes a lot less lethal. Nerfing a monster that just came out vs another one that has been broken for a long time is just counter productive.
This isn’t a nerf request, but this move deals significantly too much damage to enemies without any revenge skills. I’ve already suggested that this mythic could use a rework and a refreshed skill set.
Because revenge sealer is a stronger version of nullifying strike* and he also has damage boost which means you activated rat zone. If they nerf the damage on revenge sealer, it will hurt other units that rely on that skill and attack boost like GF gloria. I think you just want a roaring entrance beast mythic to be buffed, and you can just say that.
I hate roaring entrance monsters to be strong and aggressive but the community seems to love it so what the hell sure.
Revenge sealer is different from revenge breaker . The first one won’t do good damage if the target doesn’t have revenge. The second one will do a bit more damage.
No it will. It acts exactly like nullifying strike but as you mentioned I realised it’s the piercing version so it makes sense that the full damage of revenge sealer would be even higher if it pierced because GF gloria can one shot a light monster or get really close after attack boost+
@Dev_VKC I think when a monster that’s been hit with bind naturally gets a turn again, it should be ‘selectable’ by your own team again. Eg by moves like stealth team mate and cannibalise.

Apart from Nightingale i have a problem with all their overpowered passives reduce Keiser surge from 30 to 15 same with Calamaties reduce protection of other CW from 40% to 20% and also remove the E.Ds SOLO restriction cause no one asked for that. Then u have Nightingale enters kill anything she wants and negate their revenges. Eylris healing herself every turn with hold ground and unmovable
It doesn’t seem like it’s the whole point of the skill to me.
The point of the skill seems to be to lock something out for 300tu (or whatever it is) and the point of not allowing its allied monsters to select it for cannibalise or give turn is to keep it locked out for the duration.
When the binded monster naturally gets a turn again I think it should be selectable after that point because it’s paid the price of the bind.
I just wonder why albion and astra are untouched. Also pandora is still broken. But the legendary or f2p mythic like nophiam gets heavily or say they get Nerfed to ground and totally unplayable.
