For me, especially when valza is not at full health, his confident strike will put them at low enough health for an execute without HG. Also I paid him with me centaurion so his nightwatch sometimes kills malware and sometimes leaves it at super low health along with other low health monsters.
I’ll show u my team now that pvp is done. Utopian is also a great pair. My FL is mainly used to target protectors and eliminate stun immune/counter monsters. Then my stunners can come in with malware or null is fast enough to repulse a mons that might be charged or still has a stun protection.
I think null is great, execute is the way, you can get more turns from it aside from stun converter and has disruption in the form of repulse and stun pulse as well. Its a great mon but wont use it coz I dont like the design
From what I can tell you’re being really closed minded about it. You’ve had multiple posts from me and others offering uses of it and explaining its strengths. All of which you replied to by disregarding them, saying certain comparisons don’t apply and going back to your old statement that Null is poo.
Even just a year ago a monster with stun pulse, timestrike double and stun immunity at 81% speed would’ve been considered good. However, throw in immunity->converter, repulse and a finishing snap-like move and what you have is amazing. Not many monsters can have an impact on the game by 81% speed and Nulltron has two ways to do it, depending on which would be better for the situation. Raw is not much of a drawback and stun converter is super strong. I don’t know what kind of OP monster you were expecting for the anniversary. Maybe one with 80% speed, link slayerbane all, stun converter and hold ground?
Please be a bit more realistic and open minded. I remember one of your first complaints was how stun pulse can rarely be used because of their stun protection. However, Nulltron has a 50TU move which can remove their stun protection if needed. Also, most people use absorbers which you can simply use stun pulse on because timestrike double allows you to kill any second monster of your choice. I’d hate to hear what complaints you’d have about Novadrake!
I don’t really believe he is poo. That was for humor. I have continually said earlier that I’m dissapointment with him and he isn’t amazing. He is ok but not amazing.
You claim I’m being closed minded but that door swings both ways. You have done the same despite hearing a similar view as mine come from the No1 rank in the world and other Nulltron users. You ignore them and keep talking about how great he is.
I genuinely want to hear more positive comments coming from Nulltron owners. I did aknowledge the OP’s opinion though, and in fact just created a thread for people that own him to share their experiences with him. Good or bad.
No disrespect to Unown, but I think you mean no. 1 grinder of that PvP season I am not here to brag but I was winning lots in PvP too and would’ve had a similar score by the end if I had played more than just the first day (only did about 5-10 matches outside of that). I was able to write here about my experiences of playing with a stun converter focused team in PvP for about 2-3 months but you disregarded everything I said.
I didn’t disregard it. I even acknowledged that he can work on certain teams but it’s pretty particular and not easy to do. The other stun convertors do way better on their own without that particular setup. He is stressful to set up.
Dont have Nova. Dont have Null. Dont want either of them. Didn’t want either of them because I only have a few hundred gems saved and I knew these guys wouldn’t fit my play style or teams once i read the movesets.
So i didnt roll this festival. Even moreso knowing (because the Devs advertised) whats coming in the next festival and the date of that festival.
So, the hard lesson I learned during the stun festival is, don’t get caught in the hype and don’t roll for the first few days of a new monster festival until you know if his moveset really works and if it will really fit your playstyle.
I’m not gonna comment further on the monsters skill. Just suggest you test the monsters and see what the community reaction and use is before you buy.
That was the advice of @Killerdog that I will adhere to every festival henceforth.
The thread I made about grinding was made a bit hastily. I ammended that to say it’s mostly about win rate. Coming 1st however is basically about having an insane win rate and then playing 24/7. I meant no disrespect to you with that, it was my feedback on the design of the scoring system. I didn’t want to get in any pissing contest with you or to pull out old screenshots of when I was testing all the terrible PvP monsters to get better perspective for the tier list thread Yeah I’ve been out of the top 50 a few times this last year because of that, especially because I’d often do my testing after I’d got most of the wins I needed, so my position would drop off near the end of the PvP.
P.S. In the future I may compete for 1st place in PvP. I hope we can both be good sportsmen about it
