Something terrible is coming...

Bomboid + Floccosaurus. Picture it. You kill bomboid first because AP requires you to, and in the blink of an eye all of your monsters have been dealt ~3000 damage. Imagine throwing in auro, static, perhaps a bane to prevent HG from saving you or a Void or Nova to scoop up any low damage monsters; in theory this could virtually guarantee the devastation of the opponent’s fl. This won’t necessarily be OP, but it’s a safe bet that tons of people will use this strat next pvp, and it will NOT be fun to fight. In the meantime, why don’t we discuss potential ways to get around this combo so that we can hopefully be prepared for it?

Knockback on bomboid also put your own flocco since bomboid hit all

Bomboid damage isn’t for all monsters that means yours too

You mean is

Fair… problem is, mons with knock back are always very slow, and in order to repel bomboid it’d have to be the first thing you use. Putting your entire team on hold just to get a tiny little monster off the field doesn’t sound fun. While there are quick options for repulse, that move’s a lot less ideal since he’ll just pop right back in a few seconds later.

Knock back next could be good though; focusing on dealing with flocco instead of bomb is certainly a viable solution, with certain mons like Azrazel very much up to the task. Still quite the reliance on a single move though.

That is true. Thing is, unlike your opponent, that’s the only source of passive damage you’ll have to deal with. Not enough to put anything with a respectable amount of health in a desperate position. The only caveat that really forces on you is to not use confident strike or similar health-reliant moves.

You’re right but is even bigger than that it will ban Grass element from FL and even Wind if you combine it with Dino in 5th

Set up your own shields

This indeed will be something interesting to try to deal with. Payback Killer comes to mind as a reliable way to get rid of the Bomboid while charging a blood move. Also Meatoid will likely become more prominent if this is the case since Bomboids death will kill Meatoid and (in theory anyway) heal off the Bombs damage before the Flocco damage comes in.

The only way to shield up your FL is Heavenswyrm and Kareukenshi in 5th

Use Talo, bovo, Apollo and shield one mon that isn’t a protector and if they die you get a poison and or DR

I thought payback killer was exclusive to death/payback revenge… I don’t recall static ever being a target for it, and if he wasn’t then bomboid isn’t either.

Nebel

And also plz don’t get static nerfed

Haven’t seen any functional FL with him.in PvP that’s why i only said those 2 above and even Heavens is pretty useless so only option Kareukenshi by letting the enemy kill one of yours and let him control when your samurai toad gets into the field

No man I’m not talking about static i have nothing against it really don’t like that monster for me and i dont have to much trouble with him, until know

@Lucrayzor i was discussing this in my clan and we realize what what happens if both players have bomboid in the FL it could wipe of both FL with a single attack of anyone

Yeah KD shared the footage with us hahaha, it was spectacular

For some reason i don’t see my bomiod and yes i made top 50

You do know bomboid was a pvp reward distributed just as the season ended, right? :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes but y i don’t have it when i did what i was supposed to do.
