Your bias hate for this monster since the day you got it isn’t something I’m going to have reflected here. Nulltron is a great monster, learn to love raw
Hes right tho.
Willo,bloom,angelion shut this monster totally.
At best hes a rock killer thats why hes A+ even tho i perfer him over nova but hes not good.
Okay then why not run Nulltron with a monster that kills all of those? Stun is not around in the meta much right now so stun converter monsters are not shining like they usually do.
You are sorely mistaken. I started loving Nulltron and have loved it for a long time. I only hated it for a few weeks. Get over that! Recently it’s become trash because it can never (sometimes it can) pull off double time strike. we have more stun counters now and Bloom is everywhere also willoyrm is popular. I like RAW monsters. Your evaluation of Nulltron is simply incorrect. I speak from experience of using it in top tier for a bloody long time. No bias here.
I admit I like clearing rocks with it though. Hence A rating.
I liked null in a disruption team: give enemy bunch of tokens to charge raw bloodthirst if stun pulse or timestrike double arent available
Pretty fast FL knockback, destroys every protector, pretty much kill everything with 1 charge Bloodthirst, his revenge passive kill through Shields and HG.
Hes not defensive that’s for sure. But offensively, pretty reliable…
When rating the mythics I was scaling them against each other when selecting their tiers. I felt like Dragulus was one of the weaker mythics at the beginning but the change to make bloodthirst not raw I didn’t appreciate properly (higher damage after 1 kill). With bloodthirst and the swift knockback I think it works pretty nicely
Its like top 3 Mythic for just putting in a team without much negatives
Few negatives is definitely a good point but it’s no Kuraokami and even something like Onyxia you build around to make it work and stun counter is definitely no negative for your team. When put in perspective it can’t reach something like S+ unless it had something OP like Nightwatch + Assassinate instead of its killer moves
Yeah i forget we don’t control this list. To each their own really.
Hopefully people don’t read too much into the rankings. For a “free” Mythic hes up there
Auto protects.
I’m surprised the pink and yellow flutters are so far apart… true, pink is more versatile and not as easily disrupted, but yellow only needs one kill, and he’s set for life. Even if his stealth is disrupted, he can still pick off a weak mon. That can mean quite a lot in some situations; pink’s options can get walled by either knock back/lack of fodder, or a simple lack of teammates having been killed, and even if that doesn’t happen, it takes him a bit longer to gain access to the massive damage that blood moves offer. Not to mention, yellow gets a free death sentence that the enemy can easily forget about. If their plan is to simply keep him incapacitated by continually removing his stealth, then that plan could bite them in the butt. Sometimes, convincing your foe that you’re not a threat can be a winning strategy. Idk, it just feels to me like pink and yellow each have their pros and cons when compared to each other.
I too am surprised I didn’t move flutterdrake daffodil (yellow) up when it got bloodfury in place of bloodthirst. I moved it up in PvE, but not PvP. I think I was comparing it too much to Rattlewyrm and I know from experience the 100TU stealth is horrible for PvP. However, it comes in stealthed with decent speed and only needs one kill before it can sweep very well. I will bump it up next update.
I need to re-evaluate all the thlugs now we know better how they work too.
If there’s anything else wacky in the SE lists please point it out!
btw, the “other notable mons” list seems a little lacking. Here’s some suggestions:
Frillzerrex/Gigasect/Dreadfish/Octoboss: Epic stun bombers. Still could have a presence in pvp due to their potential+versatility.
Parasardon: 2 star version of remus/dracomander.
Boxjaw/Yuki/Spriggolo/Maggatoid/Onigo/Rudolphonzo/etc.: If Bronzeshell is on this list then seems only fair.
Skyflame/Wickerchap: fast stun immune sendback mons that have application in some FLs.
Dreadgar: Deicide.
Humboss/Duoterro/Inferneo/Shrubtooth/Sanctolamb: dirt cheap sleep all spammers. I’ve clutched a game with one of these before.
Yetikong/Redgaroo/Stratosfear/Tombguard: epic one on ones, may be used in place of Oniblade/Stratustrike for budget strats.
Also dunno why helldactyl is in there… 0 star protector, nothing special really.
I think I completely forgot that epics weren’t in the PvP tier lists already so I needed to add those stun bombs and OoO’s.
I’d say Parasardon isn’t worth running when there’s Remus at 2 cost lower and it’s literally the same difficulty to kill because it has less health but “more” defence.
Bronzeshell is a monster itself which can be useful in teams (e.g. with Dusicyon in the front line). The ones you list are tokens created by other monsters.
Skyflame, similar to Parasardon the cost of Wickerchap is lower and you don’t need two monsters for this.
Dreadgar, thanks yes I will add this.
The sleepers… the sleep all chance is too low (lower than it is on legendaries) and their speed is too low.
Helldactyl is a 4 cost protector stun absorber with purify.
Thanks again for the help!
This is my first thoughts regarding the newest legend, Lionheart, a monster that I think has a lot of potential. From the look of things, it appears that you’d want it to die off and resurrect into its mythic form in order to make the most out of Natural Selection, arguably one of the most powerful moves yet from the look of things. However, it appears that it doesn’t offer much else asides from that; Confident strike does work wonders but with both its healing moves being situational (requiring a teammate to have died, and being on 1HP), it doesn’t do the monster any favors. However it should be noted that From the Brink gives it a boost to Attack and Defense so there’s that consolation at least. What really holds this monster back in my opinion is the lack of an immunity on its mythic form. I’m not asking for it to have Tholid or anything, but surely it wouldn’t hurt to give it either Stun or Poison Immunity, but only on the mythic form. Truth be told, I could be jumping the gun here since I just got the monster; I’ll do some further testing to see if my first thoughts are spot on, or dreadfully wrong.
Some fair points. I rolled for it not because I thought it would be OP but because it was unique. Should be fun testing it in different teams though. Confident strike is generally a disappointing move and easily loses it’s critical power. Natural selection can be handy in mythic form.
A lack of immunities always makes a monster quite a bit less viable but I think you are jumping the gun a bit. Lionheart has great sweeping potential and is an enormous pain to kill unless you have poison. I don’t think it will ever be a top notch PvP monster but it can do good stuff there and for PvE it looks brilliant. In general, high speed + HG + confident strike is more of a threat than it looks on paper.
Well if I jumped the gun twice before, I may as well jump the gun a third time. Granted, the other times I did so, I was so off that I may as well not have aimed for the target to begin with. Either way, I may as well bite the bullet and go for it; I’ll be analyzing the remaining three Abyssoldiers as I managed to gather all the information needed on them, and give me a chance for an addendum on Abyssoldier Breaker, then one I got terribly wrong. While I do maintain that it’s one of the weaker members of the family, its mainly due to the strength of its brothers as opposed to Breaker’s own weaknesses.
So before I begin, allow me to inform any newcomers on the main gimmick of the Abyssoldiers. They’re a group of six Super Epic monsters, one for each type and have a pair of passives that work depending on whether they’re alone or with another of their kin. Lone Fish is the one that activates when an Abyssoldier is alone, and grants them a respectable boost to their defense and attack, whereas their Bond passive grants them an additional boon should another Abyssoldier be on the field. For instance, Fokus gains the Focus passive, meaning it’s attacks can’t get redirected to other monsters; Poward gains Power Boost, which grants it a massive boost to attack, and Breaker gains Excessive Force, which I’m sure you all know about already. Personally, I think that the Abyssoldiers would have to be my favorite of the ‘6 members’ archetype of monsters since they can work solo, and together.
Now that you have a summery on them, let us begin with the first monster on the list; Abyssoldier Antistan. It serves as one of the two supportive monsters of the family, with SOLO Give Turn and SOLO Accelerate Team to hasten up and provide free turns to your charged sweepers. (the SOLO obsession with these monsters is another of their gimmicks, which means that proper team building is recommended in order to unleash their full potential.) In terms of offensive capabilities, it gets Faststrike which can deal a solid amount despite its more defensive stats, especially when its Lone Fish passive is active. As for its Bond Passive, it gains Stun Immunity which while powerful, feels a little lacking when compared to its other brethren. But then again, its role is a lot different than the other three so I shouldn’t be too harsh on it. Overall, it provides a wonderful amount of support for its comrades, but I’d say that its in the weaker half of the family.
Moving on from one support fish, to another is our next subject for today, Abyssoldier Guardian, and I’d say that this one’s the better of the two supportive soldiers. The main reason for this is that its Bond passive is Auto Protect Plus, which helps protect your more offensive soldiers. On top of boasting amazing defense and a protective passive, it also has Purify and SOLO Switch Friend to offer even more support, the latter in particular being used to bring in a monster with a powerful passive, or even another Abyssoldier. It has SOLO Double Counter as its main offense, but with fire being one of the least represented types in the meta from the time I’ve spent in PvP, it won’t get many chances to deal damage. Asides from that one hang-up, Guardian is one of the best support Super Epics in a while, but can only achieve its full power should another of its comrades be alongside it.
And now we move on to the best Abyssoldier in my opinion, Myst. Why do I call it the best? Simple; Camouflage and SOLO Sneak Attack. Let me repeat myself; Camouflage, Sneak Attack. Granted, you need another Abyssoldier for Myst to gain its camouflage, but a super epic that can land a kill every 100sec is amazing. And in case you don’t have another Abyssoldier on the field then worry not, it has SOLO Bloodfury to secure itself more kills. And to top it off, it also has True Hit in order to break through all those pesky Auto Protectors on the field. Add a moveset like that to a monster with nice and balanced stats, and you have a contender for the best Super Epic sweeper in the game.
That’s it for my analysis everyone, you’re more than welcome to put in your thoughts regarding the monsters I talked about. Catch you all next time!
I mean we have cani to thank for that
