That sounds good to us. We can increase the base cost to 15 while keeping most Mythic monsters at their current cost.

To be honest, I personally like this, but we are quite sure that the majority of our players may not like having 16 as a base cost.

We totally understand, but we keep Mythics more efficient than Legendaries because it takes effort to awaken them.

that’s the reason there is an option to lower the cost of Legendary monsters in this poll.

For example, base legend costs 12 while myth cost still 14. That’s the same as legend costs 13 and myth 15.

Legendary monsters are harder to get than SE (Free monster). but their cost difference is still 3 not 1

Lowering the Legendary cost will also benefit users who have a lot of Mythics.

That’s a good thing. We want people to run legendaries also, no? Just balance the ones who are too strong with SS they can be 15-16 like doomgo/cylophina/euronox (I think I spelled him wrong but you know the guy).

Right now, if you have most of the mythics, or at least the good ones, there is no reason to run even the strong legendaries because SEs with HP boost or unique rockoids do well enough.

Indeed, it’s an option where Legendary monsters benefit without harming myth at all.

it’s the same as you increasing the base myth cost to 15 but you also increase the capacity to 206 → ??? . I hope that if the base myth cost becomes 15, you don’t mess with the max cost in the team.

There has been a proposal to increase the base myth cost to 15/16 for a long time but it was ignored. So the idea arose, why not just make the Legendary monster cost 12.

Especially those who does not use them and hatch them for collection purposes :-1:t2::-1:t2::-1:t2:

Mythics have surpassed legendaries by far, only few can compete for a spot in a team.

Why should i run a legendary for 15 or 16 while i can run a mythic for 14 have better stats and skill set or same cost

Mythics offer alot more then legendaries so its only fair they should cost more

That’s understandable but I think you know how big the difference between them jas come to be. The difference between the best Legendary and best Mythic is more than the difference between the best and worst Legend

I think 208 would be nice
That would mean a max of 13 Myths(15 cost) and you have 7 cost left
That would encourage team building and discourage brainless Mythic spam

I think if you go through the thread there’s probably only one person who is against the change, everyone else agrees that it has come to a point where the power difference between a legendary and mythic is enough of a reason to go for them. They no longer have to be both more powerful and cost less to become desirable. One of those is more than enough. This is a strategy game after all. Sticking 14 mythics and 2 rocks in your team is not a strategy.
Legendaries became mostly obsolete for anyone with a large enough mythic collection.

Why not make use of the HP boost to try and also bring epics and super epics back into the spotlight. Have you guys considered maybe making HP boost be usable only on legends and lower? Or even only for SE and lower?
There were lots of concerns regarding people having 6+ hp boosted monsters after they became available for gems, so why not make them either usable only on weaker monsters or not be transferable again (as it was originally intended) unless there is a significant nerf. That would also make people think twice before using it on a monster.

Also, how about having a dynamic cost for top monsters instead of the restriction lists? Super powerful monsters get their cost increased for the season so you can still use them, but will have to compromise.

I think that’s counter productive. Keep the cost as it is, it’s more than enough to have a strong team.

Yeah, I completely understand that. It will be a hard pill to swallow but by reducing the SS cost to +0-2 on mythics and increase max team cost a little bit I hoped that would make it balance out well.

It’s quite similar to the idea of having base cost 15 with 16-18 on the SS since it’s still 16-18 total, but tackles the problem of people running certain mythics for cheap without the SS.

I am sure all of those huge asian accounts that are not on forum at all will be very happy to get their myths made even more expensive to run.

Balancing costs would definitely result in less outrage than nerfing monster skills.
