Lacrimea (Poll and Discussion)

Lilybybdia?

Yeah now that piercing has become the meta, it’s kind of not as impressive to have but she can trap certain monsters to become useless. Her also having overwatch skill means she also has chrono weakness but we only have one peircing with it.

Personally the selling point on this monster compared to selkette, she is a lot less restrictive with sweeping (both 93-100TU sweeping) and she has other skills that do cool things like overwatch with engage. The devs can later buff parts of her kit that is clunky like Delink.

Another weakness is timefreeze and Im guessing she can’t get piercing on her own as long as timefreeze is on the field because of not being able to use overlink.

Overall, Azulyn is the better of two for the players who want to hatch. Her snow creating 42 move is one of the hardest things for the opponent to shutdown and if your opponent ignores her, she would start double sweeping while Lacrimea is more of a solo threat on the board that can be ignored for at least one turn. Both really interesting units that deserve your hatching if you want new cool tools.

Explain this to me, I have her awakend I use her consistently, since release. But I barly ever use this move caus I never see the point

That’s because you are using her on the FL. Mid game you can use her as a pseudo-backbiter that can kill another monster/stun. She is not restricted in what she does which is why this is her best move.

I considered this, but you gotta keep in mind that the snowflakes enter at like 80 seconds or something, they don’t exactly work very effectively as backbiters, I guess you can remove dead weights with it but then again if you recive shells you are better of just flipping them and letting her passive do the rest

I don’t see the value of creating these tokens unless I run a kuaro obviously, but that’s an entierly other problem for why I don’t like that idea :joy:

Exactly. Lily puts herself and something else to high TU. Lacrimea can put overwatch on it then bring it back into play with the SS but that’s 110TU to do and she removes her shield to do it, where she can die super easily. Realistically you can’t do that when you’ve made the battle a 4v2 already.

Agree. Even worse than Azulyn, all the monsters released after Anni are not so competitive.

I like monsters with quirky movesets so i quite like her. I think that there will be a few things you can do with her in PVE.

The ability to apply overwatch to your own team might be getting overlooked here. Its actually pretty useful to have.

That said she isn’t going to be anything special. In a way she is like a nefariodon for overwatch however there aren’t really enough monsters which apply overwatch for her to be amazing and overwatch on an enemy can be a disadvantage.

If i were the devs i would change her a little bit to make her more like atalanchia with her Delink move being more like early trigger affecting a single overwatch applied monster of your choice and killing them.

Playing her feels like if ALYCE was designed balanced and her best skills removed her permenant shield. She is so cool but Delink is not a good move at all currently but maybe in the future. Overlink+ is fine but the TUs so high that you might as well not go for it because she is better as an endgame trap. She also has no void or anyway to play against or with poison teams because she will all lose her aggression and become useless. Comparing her to ALYCE is so sad for how similar they are in play but she looks so pathetic next to her lol

Overall, seems very nieche. Cool design tho, hard to say no to a robotic mermaid.

Abyzalon has 10x more replies than she got. Has anyone tried her more? Am I the only one seeing that she has the same issue as Obsybdia — which is doing nothing if there are no viable targets? She does almost nothing to damaged enemies :face_with_spiral_eyes:

She is the worst 7 Star monster released in recent two years.

When monsters like Azulyn and poison field units are on the field, she can do nothing and isn’t even as good as Bronzeshells. Even without Azulyn or a poison field present, it’s unclear what the second, third, and fourth skills of this monster are actually supposed to do. She’s meant to save high-TU monsters on her own team, but unfortunately her own speed is medium to high TU as well, so she can’t really save anything at all.
