That’s just not right, though. No amount of skill will let you, say, get top 10 with only epics, or get top 10 with only captured monsters(I’ve tried). If skill was the only factor and collection didn’t matter, then there would be no reason for there to be eggs.
Having more better monsters will almost always let a player do better regardless of skill level, and if collection really doesn’t matter, I have an account with no egg monsters that you can test out to see how much skill really matters without collection

Awakening a mythic costs over $1000 on average. That’s insane. I’d say that less than 1% of players have even one awakened mythic, let alone multiple. Is this a translation error where you meant to say the exact opposite? What the ■■■■?
That’s the vast, vast minority of players. Maybe 0.03726%, probably less. Saying that it takes having one of the 100 best accounts in the whole game(out of millions) just for skill to be a factor is evidence to prove ME right, not the other way around

To be fair, I’d go as far as to say that awakening a Mythic is easy now. Awakening one from scratch is super costly, but Mythics were introduced 3½ years ago.
Most people who decide to awaken a myth already have 2 or 3 shards on it, which they most likely got randomly when they were hatching for certain Legendaries. Then they save 500 gems (doable in about three months if you grind PvP) and shrine does the rest.
Add the fact festivals exist and now you have a multitude of players with 500+ gems and a mythic they need 1-2 shards to awaken… and the only difficulty becomes resisting the temptation to spend when S+ tier Stun Immunity 6★ monster n°78 is released. Other than that, the game gives dedicated players all the tools for awakening a Mythic.
Well done to them. Awakening any mythics as a free to play is amazing. There are 24 monsters per page. There are 79 mythics in the game. You would need 72 out of 80 to be awakened to get 3 pages(with that many hatches, I’m sure you’d get the 120 legends easily). Those players are about 3% of the way there
