Is really dumb to remove someone from the leaderboard for account sharing.

Ah fair engh lol

That’s true actually, Loki is not a DMG.
On this point I agree 100%
But probably is doing it on behalf of Daniel so I can’t really know what is the agreement between them.

But yeah, for me personally Loki should not use the tag DMG.

We are not cheaters.
Cheating is severally punished in DMG.

I want to make this crystal clear.
We removed people from the clan in the past for this reason.

Sorry ,but I will use DMG for respect to Daniel and even if I want to change I can’t cause I’m blocked from changing my name

I’ll include myself here, I also didn’t have any advantage in PvP as some say. personally i hate cheats and cheaters except laxus we love laxus or not @NMEduck @NMEGaryOak

Don’t let this distract you from the fact that Wales is the best Neo nation.

It’s time everyone chilled. It’s over now.
Grab a pint, go to the Winchester and wait for all this to blow over.

Are you talking about the Winchester Mystery House? ■■■■ no I’m not going there you shlaggg

So if I have a brother and I wanna play with him, but I am in UK and he is in Italy, I am cheating?

LMAO, you really should stop talking nonsense.

…Yes

That’s against the TOS.

You(and everyone else) agreed to the TOS

Account sharing is cheating, regardless of whether or not you are related

You can share your account with him. Just not during ranked.
@ArcticTheHunter just to clarify with you, the devs are only against account sharing when it happens during ranked. Outside of ranked you can share it with whoever and whenever you want

You’re the one talking nonsense, arguing that something that the devs have repeatedly said isn’t allowed doesn’t count as cheating. I’m honestly just continuously repeating what people have already told you dozens of times. Account sharing isn’t allowed, no exceptions

Tell Don that, not me. I already clarified this

first of all this is not as complicated as pure stuff or exploiting bugs, secondly, the fact that I say it in the cough does not mean that it is correct or that it should not be modified (just raise the maximum entries to 18 and everyone will be able to play all their bolestos so there wouldn’t be an advantage as they say) and I really don’t see a problem, I don’t know what bothers them that someone is top 1 with an account that is not their own, at the end of the day the only advantage I see is the ability of that player over the others, do not justify things with arguments like (dev take him out of the rank, he has an advantage and things like that assume that someone is top 1 because he deserves it and the vast majority would not have achieved it
)

I’m not arguing whether he has an advantage, I’m arguing that he violated the TOS, and as such was cheating, regardless of whether he gained an advantage or not. The thread title says that the devs shouldn’t remove someone from the leaderboard for account sharing, I’m saying that the devs had every right to do so, as stated in the TOS

And for the record, I’d say that he’d have no reason to use a different account unless he was gaining some advantage, and I’d also say that having access to basically every monster in the game, many of them with high bonuses or shards, is pretty much the definition of an advantage.

Hi there KD!

Btw guys I read that stuff about IP address and nobody said it quite correctly so thought I’d explain things, in case you didn’t know.

IP addresses are only temporarily assigned to anything. When an IP address isn’t being used by the place assigned to it then it becomes possible for somewhere else to get it. This can happen fairly regularly, causing your IP address to keep changing. Also, any use of a VPN will give you a different IP address visible to whatever you connect with.

However, every mobile phone has a MAID (mobile advertising ID) which is unique to that device and publicly available to apps (I believe ZigZa should be able to see it).

So what they’d need to do is match the two, so if your IP address changes but your MAID is still the same then they’ll know it’s still the same device. If a restore code is used and the MAID changes but the IP address is the same then it’s the same person switching from one phone to another. If a restore code is used but on the same MAID it’s the same person restoring the account on their phone. However, if the MAID changes and the IP address changes then it’s likely a different person going on the account. If the account alternates between two MAID + IP pairings then it’s almost definitely account sharing.

I say this because doing things purely on IP address would catch a lot of false positives.

Thanks for the clarification!

This is not strictly correct in that some people do have fixed IPs, but these are generally being phased out by most isps, and are pretty rare today
