That’s how they developed their system. And fans won’t say that because that’s not even an option. I think games can also be built in such a way to where they’re built to be expanded and updated. And even to where you’re adding significant mechanics updates as well. That way, players realize they can enjoy a game where they never lose their progress and still get a better and better game over time.
That’s how I’ll make my games.
Skyrim has kept many people busy for 2 years now. And it still does. I have yet to keet anyone who has done everything possible lol.
^I’ve done everything possible multiple times, excluding radiant quests due to the fact that they spawn infinitely. Literally EVERYTHING you can think of. Play with simply punching…every daedric artifact multiple times…beating every questline countless times with every race…attacking every city…killing everything I see (that can be killed)…get every shout+W o P…get every “unique” piece of gear…accumulate 1mil legit gold…accumulate 10mil fake gold…reach lvl 81 legit…reach lvl 81 11 times via OI Glitch…play a game without using a single healing potion…play on master and legendary…legendary skills a bajillion times…blah blah blah blah. If I haven’t lost my touch, you can ask me any question or ask for any advice, and I can give it to ya WITHOUT going to UESP or ESW…I can also do that to a lesser extent with Oblivion.

Lol ive done all main story quests and done dawngaurd and dragonborn. Even went as far as building a mansion fully kitted in all 3 spots. I wish it was online lol how i would live to show off lmao
I started Skyrim on the PS3. Did roughly 80 hours. Changed to xbox, then couldn’t be bothered doing it again.
But in all honestly, I preferred Fallout 3.
I loved fallout 3 lol damn was to addictive
How about Vegas? I wasn’t too keen on it. I liked the DLC for fallout 3 too. And then you got Fawkes if you have good karma.

I never said it was a surprise, I just said I was disgruntled. As for Cosmic Island, I never did play DIB for long, so I assumed it was a pretty old game and that’s why they were introducing a new one. And for Hunter Island, it wasn’t even released yet, so I took it as a future plan. As in, way off future.

I have to agree with ash, i like games that have a ending and all, because usually ones with no ending are the freemium games that take 5 days to do anything but the ending is coming way to soon, they can keep making new Om’s and expansions which shouldn’t be to hard to do to keep the game constantly going because i don’t want to see my 8 months of waiting for a game just be for nothing
This sounds like me, i beat it fairly fast and i dont have time for OM’s anymore because the time they are released im doing my daily tasks so i never get to jump on them when they start, ive literally won 1 single OM prize. Shadowstalker.
Clash of clans, a little off topic but it kinda has to do with what is happening to the game.
I play clash of clans, i max stuff for my th and i just got hogs recently and have alot of other things maxed for th 7, well my point is like i said i dont want games with timers that last forever, i want games that last a long time like HI not some freemium game that takes DAYS to do anything so some games have the potential to go on and others dont. I personally think some of the newly added stuff looks neat, but if they keep doing this forever, its just gonna mean you keep using builders to keep upgrading 10 days at a time forever, you can never win the game because the is no goal really, but games like HI, it has potential because everyone wants a new cool looking monster to have, and new things like map expansions, new zones, Or even new types. So this game can continue on and on and on but games like coc just end up choking you because you can never win and you just keep spending days forever trying to max stuff which becomes a pain and makes people eventually quit the game because they just get so done with timers but HI, It has a GOAL, you CAN win it, you CAN do everything for free (well not quite but everything will be released soon enough) so its not just mindless, purposeless, endless, Nothingness that will never end
This is a joke now. If there’s delays they could at least let us no when they think it’ll be instead of just letting us guess what’s going on

They did announce on February 7 that there was an update coming. In the announcement it specifically said that they had a quick fix for the problems but instead were aiming for the long term solution which required rewriting most of the games code.
Personally I lack much information on the typical amount of time it takes to rewrite a game of this magnitude but it does sound like there’s and update coming soon
They told us a time frame. It was early January. It’s late. People started griping. They announce another time frame. Then, when it passes, people start griping again.
I agree the presence of the developers are very important, but I just have a feeling if they actually do give a date, people will still get mad when it passes, claiming the devs lied or whatever. We all make mistakes, and the devs are only human after all.
I just think the main problem is the absence of the devs.
