The reason why it gets harder and harder is the new super powerful, instant reward and immune to almost everything monsters, that have piercing attacks. Dicculasaurus is a good example of this, it’s simply horrible in UC. If he enters you can just say goodbye to your Goldtail. Also, you can’t rely anymore on Shiva that much to keep your team alive, as more often than not there will be Canishogun or some Y Draig Goch type instant super mega piercing monster that will just yeet him out of existence. I used to be able to reach GK500-600, but now am struggling to beat GK300. The difficulty is a tad bit too hard for my liking.

Dollguini works wonders for that whole flocco problem, not to mention stuffing out dr and just general stray hits that don’t pierce. Even has purify on demand in case the tank gets stun locked. Absolute godsend.
