Im dissapointed to see the same pool of legends be featured in different festivals. Geomagnus Chromera Icefang Atrahasis and Auro again are you kidding me?.. just spent over 2000$ to get these and now a chance to get dupes… yay… All these have been featured less than 3 months ago… Auro already in rare egg… deep… getting discouraged on supporting by spending
Just trust me when I say that all four of them are absolutely fantastic. Maybe the reindeer to a lesser degree though, he seems to me like more of a pve specialist, probably won’t do much in pvp.
I don’t know with hold ground I could see him being useful in a reincarnation team or atra :D, but I’m just happy I don’t see sweet meaning it will be a all year round unit guaranteed 
so I don’t have to stress if I don’t get it.
Alright, I’ve constructed a probability table for those who are thinking about spending. This does assume it will be the same system as last anniversary, where the 1st and 3rd packs guarantee 1 legend while 2 4 and 5 have no additional guarantee. Any featured means any of the 7 event exclusive legends in each festival, note that this does NOT account for featured mons you may already have. And particular featured means, for example let’s say Chromera is the only one you want; so those are the odds of you getting Chromera.
Any featured from single: 1.09%,
Particular featured from single: 0.16%
Any featured from 10 pack WITHOUT legend guarantee(2nd, 4th, and 5th): 10.42%
Particular featured from 10 pack WITHOUT legend guarantee: 1.49%
Any featured from 10 pack WITH legend guarantee(1st and 3rd): 25.69%

Finally someone who said true words…some legends appears constantly in big events…most of them were in festivals maximum 3 months before!!Some other legends like raven appears only 1 or max 2 times per year!! Sometimes this game is not fair…just saying…
The truth is there will always be some people unhappy with the selection of legendaries in festivals. With people all having different legendaries already and wanting particular other ones you will find that some festivals are great for you and others terrible.
Christmas egg:
This has the three Christmas legendaries from last year, which is obviously sensible. The other two are Atrahasis and Aurodragon, both very good additions for anyone to have. These two seem to get featured a lot and it’s probably because of the utility they add to teams. It’s important we have these kinds of legendaries featured in festivals that a lot of people will participate in.
New Year egg:
Wraithcaptain is one which was identified as a legendary that hasn’t been released for ages, so it’s good to see. Chrome, Geo, Icefang and Shuri are all good meta monsters which are mostly PvP focused. I’m sure quite a few have them already but it’s a great place to grab Chrome and Geo.
Point is, those featured legendaries are pretty good even if we do see some of them quite regularly. The ones we see regularly are legendaries that help a lot with PvE and PvP.
Remind me - do atra and auro revive buffed monsters with buffed stats?
Auro only revive teamates who die, so no. Atra can do it tho. And if atra revive buffed 1, then he die in your team and auto revive a 2nd time, he revived buffed again

Only ones that atra revives.
You didn’t catch my point. It’s not about what I prefer…I said raven as an example cause I remember when I got it back in july. Since then raven or gloreonix didn’t appear as feature monster. It’s not a good thing for us some legends to appear 2 times in 3 months on events or special eggs and others 1 or maybe 2 per year!!That’s what I said…
It does not matter until you roll more than 6 packs.
If they remove geo, chrome, etc., you will get just normal dupes other than the two new legends. So why complain.
Okay I was assuming you were moaning that it wasn’t monsters you wanted because you said you spent lots for particular ones only to see them featured again and again. Sorry for that, I see you’re focused on why some monsters in general are re-appearing more rather than your individual case of it not being the ones you want.
So in reply to that I’ll refer to a part of what I already said. I think specific monsters get repeated more on purpose because they want people to have good access to them help balance PvE and PvP. For example, ones like Aurodragon, Atrahasis, Geomagnus and Chromera are strong legendaries used a lot in PvE/PvP (first two / last two). These are monsters which the Devs want most good players to own to help them create a solid team for PvE and PvP respectively. Other monsters like Revenarchion and Gloreonix are great monsters but are more like “extra additions” to the team which the Devs will keep rarer as they’re not “necessary” in any way to compete in content.
I may be completely wrong, but it looks like the Devs are both helping us (by giving us the useful legendaries more easily) and monetising particular other legendaries (keeping them out of most festivals, where only paying players will get them at expense).
P.S. After getting a look at the movesets of the new legendaries (note: they are subject to change from what I saw) it looks like the New Year egg is more PvP focused in comparison to the PvE focus in the Christmas egg. That’s my opinion, but the other legendaries featured in these eggs match that. So it’s up to each individual but my take on everything is that if you want a PvE boost then Christmas is the one to get but general/PvP boost is New Year.
