Huh?
I had 96% winnrate last pvp, and am not single like you, i have a wife and two kids i dont spend valentines day playing neo monsters all day
Huh?

I want to see your Player Data for this because I can’t at this point believe anything you state here.
I can share mine:
Like i said its an assumption, majority are suppose to have high winrate, i dont expect you to make it with 80%, and if you take a look majority are between 50k to 40k, playing 50 games with 90% winnrate will put you at 45k even if you lower it to 85% winrate that would still put you at 42k
This takes all the data from unranked to ranked, if devs can share the winrate of the top 50 player during the ranked period it would be great, all i can remember is that i lost 3 or 4 games max
so you can’t really prove that or share your true Player Data
unless VKC comes here and shows that top50 players all have 90%+ winrate I won’t believe assumptions, especially yours
Huh ?
Its not that i can prove it or deny it its not within my capabilities, the devs have the stats for the ranked period not me, They know how much players played during ranked and what is their win rate, thats why i said i put an assumption of 90% it could be higher or lower but achieving 40k with 85% winrate still possible if you play 50 or 60 games
The entire point here is that majority of players dont utilize all their tickets, so please dont distract us from the main point
Because they all have wife and 2 kids and are not single on Valentine’s.
Exactly, players will have there own life situations, those who have jobs, families, travel etc.
Stating that the system will not be fair as the top players will finish in the first 2 days is completely false, from the pvp ranked report we can assume that the majority of players dont even play more than 60 games during ranked if the average winrate was even 85% during the ranked period so the integrity of the system would not be really affected
am a bit surprised that you have finally understood something tbh, i always knew you had a slow understanding and extremely selfish
Even if many players already stick to weekends, your suggestion actively encourages frontloading, which could further reduce opponent variety and match availability later on. Just because some players already follow certain habits doesn’t mean incentivizing early grinding won’t shift matchmaking dynamics.
Your assumption of a 90% win rate is unverified and likely exaggerated. That means reaching 40-50K RP isn’t as simple as playing 50 matches with a 90% win rate. More importantly, if 90% of the top 50 have already burned through their matches by day 3, they can’t contribute to fair matchmaking anymore. That leaves latecomers fighting a completely different field, making final rankings skewed.
Like i said its an assumption, it could be lower to even 85% and playing 60 matches, it cant really be proven unless the devs release the numbers
Assuming that majority will burn through there tickets in the first day is also an assumption that cant be proven, as Friday is not a weekend for everyone and playing 40 tickets on a non weekend its already hard in itself
I would say its safe to assume that majority even in current ranked dont play much in the third day anyway, still cant be proven 100% but devs do have the stats i would assume for number of games played
At the end of the day, this is a game. It’s design should prioritize balanced competition more than individual life situations. A ranked system isn’t meant to accommodate every possible schedule; it’s meant to create fair, engaging competition for those who choose to participate.
The current system ensures steady player activity, preventing players from dumping all their matches early and keeping matchmaking more balanced across the event. By limiting frontloading, it encourages a fairer distribution of opponents, allowing for more dynamic competition throughout all ranking stages, rather than having some strong players disappear after two days. (Looking at you @NMEduck, #1 pvp player of all time)
The current system enforces daily commitment (which the game clearly intends) without leading to burnout, as players aren’t allowed to cram up to 40 matches into a short window of time. While it’s not strictly necessary to do so, there are always players who struggle with self-control and would feel pressured to grind excessively if given the option. Instead, the system spreads participation across multiple days, ensuring steadier matchmaking while preventing the unhealthy habit of rushing through matches in one or two sittings. This structure helps maintain engagement, keeps competition active throughout the event, and prevents an unsustainable grind that would ultimately harm both player experience and competitive balance.
Ultimately, no system will be perfect for every schedule, but a ranked system should focus on competitive integrity and fairness over convenience. The current structure achieves that better than what’s being proposed.
That said, if adjustments were to be made, Killerdog’s suggestion offers the simplest and most effective solution, implementing a time zone-based system where players in different regions can use their extra 12 tickets during the day on Sunday instead of being forced into the final 6-hour window. This would retain the benefits of the current system; steady player activity, balanced matchmaking, and competitive late-game pushes—while addressing the time zone disadvantages that some players face. Unlike drastic system overhauls that introduce new issues, this adjustment preserves competitive integrity without creating unintended imbalances.
Honestly, the current ranked system is the worst one since the game launched. It feels like it was designed without the players in mind, creating more frustration than actual competition.
Your forced to wait for tickets to regenerate, which kills the momentum and makes it impossible to play during your free time if you don’t have tickets, Instead of staying engaged. How is that good for player activity?
Then there is the huge problem with time zones. The system completely ignores regional differences, putting certain players at a massive disadvantage. For some, it is nearly impossible to play at certain times, which isn’t just inconvenient it is flat-out unfair. A global game should respect its global player base, but this system makes it feel like only certain regions matter.
The ticket generation feels like a punishment for wanting to play and then you have to wait further 6 hours to refill before the end of the season. Ranked should be about competition, not about waiting around for the game to let you play.
What is even worse is how inflexible the whole system is. Not everyone can log in at specific hours to use their tickets or refill. People have work, school, and other responsibilities, and there spare time is limited the current system rewards those who have more time than actual skill.
Some might argue that limiting matches prevents burnout, but honestly, it just creates frustration. Competitive players want the option to grind if they have the time why restrict that? People should have the freedom to play at their own pace without feeling like they are being penalized for it.
At the end of the day, ranked should be about skill, dedication, and strategy not waiting around for tickets or trying to fit into an awkward schedule.
Bro. They only changed the last 6 hours of ranked and allowed people to play the last 6 hours of tickets [the 12 that you can refill] immediately.
This is it. You played 50 matches this month and are saying now it is the worst system.
It was not an issue before when EU based players had to stay till 4-5 am on a workday to finish ranked matches but now the rest of players having the slightest inconvenience with the current system are sounding the alarm bells.
If my previous suggestion is not ideal, or if there’s a simpler solution, we could keep the existing ticket system intact while extending the validity period of the tickets by 12 hours.
I have been saying for years that the waiting time during ranked should be removed and replaced with a simple match cap. Why do you need to wait to play the game? It is just plain stupid and completely limits player activity. Instead of encouraging players to open the game and play, it actually encourages them not to play at all. Players should be able to play the game when they want at there own pace not waiting for tickets to refill or try it the game during there busy schedules
As for the refill system for the last 6 hours its completely unfair to certain part of the world, this is a global game and it should respect other regions not just Europe, fairness should be respected and no region should get an advantage
How many seasons we got? Like 70? We just had 3 that were finally fair for the EU.
Players from EU were asking for those changes for years now. And it finally has been addressed.
We had a lot of seasons like this, when i compare it to the old system from years back, the old system was way better back then.
The old system was all about high win rate, you get more tickets per day which increased the activity of the players during ranked, but you didnt need to play half of them since it was a punishing system for losers, high win rate was the key
and was more friendly towards the players where you only need to grind for 2 days only instead of three, it wasnt perfect but alot better then what we have now
The ticket generation system had its flawed but we should be going forward and not backwards, removing the time generation makes it more flexible for everyone and does not put any region at a disadvantage, and thats how it should have been from the start
The game is renewed at 6 in the morning for me, and this is a very challenging situation for events with special tickets such as PVP, UC, IC. For example, I think 6 months ago, I woke up in a sleepless state to play PVP Rank and the first 2 matches I played were Janne and Mrx. In other words, there are 2 matches that require focus and it is challenging to do this in this situation. Likewise, in the previous system, it was a very bad situation that the tickets expired until 6 in the morning. But the idea that ticket renewals stopped in the last 6 hours was very comforting in this regard. - My personal suggestion is to stop ticket renewal in the last 6 hours, but keep the 12 ticket renewal section, I think, can be used as a warehouse. In other words, there will be a reserve ticket section of 0/12 and the tickets the person missed will start to be filled here. For example, after the main ticket is filled with 12/12, the reserve ticket will be activated and for example, the reserve ticket of someone who missed 3 tickets will be shown as 3/12 and he can play it whenever he wants.
glaze.
In my opinion, this system has been key to making the ranking fairer, so it has truly been an improvement. The old system was indeed unfair to Europeans, but now the system is much fairer, so I don’t think this system is worse than the previous one.
