Feedback on PVP System Ticket Requirements and Schedule Adjustment Suggestion

This is my suggestion to improve the pvp for everyone and make it fair towards everyone

At the start of pvp number of tickets is 80, you can complete them in 2 days or over the course of 3 days

Maximum amount of tickets that can be played in a day is 40 and they can be played back to back not needing to wait for refills

This way everyone can play them and get around of work

The big problem with that is the number of players that are online at that moment. It is possible that by the time all the tickets are completed, there will be very few players online, which could make matchups repetitive and make it harder to connect to an opponent. This is just my opinion.

Ideally no, thats already whats happening

In my case i never play Sunday or monday morning due to work, i only play on Friday and Saturday, am sure am not the only person who is doing this majority of players play at certain times only

I never go against certain players due to different times anyway and my battles are almost repetitive, this method will be fair that everyone has 80 tickets to play and can play them across two days or 3

I recall the developers expressing concerns about releasing a large number of tickets at once rather than staggering them over time as IBERIAN says. The 12-ticket dump already affects matchmaking dynamics, and increasing the number even further would only amplify these effects. What mrx explains here seems to be a timezone problem rather than a game problem.

In my opinion KDs suggestion seems the most reasonable solution.

The 12 ticket dump is one of the worst ideas, since its introduction i never manage to use it once, it starts at 3 am where am from.

Any country with 0 gmt and above are screwed up unless they are unemployed, its the biggest middle finger to us, ranking suppose to be fair

I don’t agree. Thanks to those 12 tickets, 6 hours before the ranking ends, it’s possible that I won’t lose the last 6 ranking tickets. For me and many Europeans, it has been a fantastic solution. Could it be improved? Maybe, but it has been a great improvement.

If players want to grind and complete ranking in 2 days they can and they want to complete it in 3 they can, without giving advantage of tickets

Which causes another dilemma for the devs, as they already expressed

I find it amusing how when we dident have this solution EU players got fucked. And only really coltraz complained for the longest time with nobody supporting his crusade for change and fairness in the game

And now thats its fixed for EU but messes up other timezones its suddenly a massive issue

This is some wild double standards lol

Not everyone gonna on the first or second day and consume 40 tickets per day, it will transfer to the last day, its a more fair system and balanced for life

Many people just can’t play for three days straight and stay awake to 3am to refresh the ticket refill

all good until it does not affect me mentality

I get that the current system isn’t ideal for everyone, but giving all players 80 tickets at once (whether they play it in day 1 and 2 or 1 and 3 …) would likely create bigger problems than it solves; matchmaking could become inconsistent, latecomers could struggle to find fair opponents, rankings could be manipulated by players waiting until the last moment, and match variety would decrease as fewer players remain active. Time zone issues exist in every global game, and shifting the system to benefit one group just makes it worse for another.

Again, as Killerdog pointed out, time zone issues will always exist.

Not 80 tickets at once

80 tickets is the maximum limit

40 per is the max to be played anything not played transfers to the next day, over the course of 3 days players can complete 80 tickets or if you grind you can complete the 80 in two days

I clarified it here, but should’ve added the “40” probably.

Regardless, the points I mentioned don’t change.

I already did have it in my comment i guess you messed it

Either way it will be a much better system and more fair

I didn’t miss anything. I took your suggestion as the reference point since it’s been the focus of our discussion over the past few posts, where I specifically outlined its issues and also keeping the devs concerns in mind. You might’ve thought I misunderstood when you said ‘Not 80 tickets at once’—which is understandable—but I was already addressing your system with the 80-ticket total and 40-per-day cap in mind. Regardless, the core issues I pointed out remain the same: matchmaking consistency, fair opponent availability, and ranking integrity would still be affected under your system.

Match making will be consistent i dont see an issue, we have players all over the world that play in different time zones, that shouldnt affect opponent availability

As for ranking integrity it could be fixed, we already have the name cover put in place and as a second control you cant face the same opponent for 3 games ahead

Plus over the course of the last season i have been facing the same opponents, as my timezone matches with theres. I dont see a way to fix this, players will play at the same time

Matchmaking consistency isn’t just about time zones, it’s about ensuring a steady player pool at all times. If too many players finish early, latecomers could struggle to find fair matches, which brings us to the next point below.

Ranking integrity isn’t just about name covers or avoiding repeat matches, it’s also about ensuring a fair competitive environment throughout the event. Let’s say: 90% of the top competitors have already used all their tickets by day 3, the remaining players would face a completely different field, making late-game ranking pushes significantly easier or harder depending on who’s left. This skews results and creates an imbalance in competition.

If the majority of players already stick to certain times, as you said before, then your suggestion wouldn’t change the repetition issue, it would just condense it into fewer days.

Number of players will not change significantly compared to what is now, like i said many only play on there weekends, so dont expect a big shift in number of players

Its almost the same right now, 90% of the top 50 dont even play all the tickets majority have 50-40K over the course of 3 days, i would assume they have 90% winnrate which means that they played around 50 games which is alot less then the suggested amount of a 80 cap. Its an indicator that many miss tickets

This cant be changed, on the current system or at any game to be honest players with smilier time zones will face each other most often, but with the increase in tickets players who grind will face others in different time zones

no, this is just an indicator of your terrible performance last 2 ranks

Saying that

is CRAZY.

no, not all people in top50 have 90% winrate during ranked. not even all people in top20 have 90% winrate during ranked. Sometimes I am surprised how you could be seen as a top player by some if you share such untrue bs.
