I would like to address an issue with the current PVP system’s ticket requirements, which I believe places an unreasonable time burden on players. Specifically, the final-day ticket accumulation (e.g., 12 base tickets + 8-9 additional tickets) forces players to invest excessive time to complete matches.
Current Problem:
If each match lasts approximately 10 minutes, completing 20-21 tickets (12+8 or 12+9) requires 200+ minutes of gameplay (3+ hours).
This demand is particularly disruptive on the final day, as players must sacrifice sleep or personal time to meet the requirement.
Impact:
The current system:
Disrupts daily routines (e.g., waking up early to grind tickets).
Creates undue stress by concentrating gameplay into a short timeframe.
Discourages casual participation due to time constraints.
Proposed Solution:
To improve player well-being and engagement, I suggest:
Adjust the PVP schedule to begin on Thursdayinstead of the current start day.
Extend the event duration to prioritize weekends when players generally have more free time.
Benefits:
Reduces weekday pressure by shifting focus to weekends.
Allows players to complete tickets at a healthier pace.
Aligns with typical gaming patterns (higher weekend availability).
Yes, I agree with this view. The ticket process has seriously affected our game. It is not friendly to the players’time and spirit. I think it should be improved!
@Dev_VKC Rank PvP goes upto Monday morning according to my time zone,it’s stressful to play on Monday morning,Im sure rest of the people also face similar issues .Can you change the rank PvP timings from Friday - Monday to Thursday to Sunday .
Yes, I agree, change the time, you can fill the 12 tickets at any time, but don’t set it 6 hours before the end of the race, you can fill it on the second or third day of the queue, we don’t have time to play the 3 hours queue on Monday morning
Yes, I need to work on Monday mornings. If I have to compete for rankings, I would have to wake up two hours earlier, which is really tough. If there were fewer tickets or if the schedule could be rearranged, I might be able to do some ranking during work hours.
My matches typically last around seven minutes. Of course, there are many factors that can affect the duration of a game. When facing opponents of similar skill level, the need for careful strategizing often leads to longer thinking time.
I am sure you are not facing only too players. I checked recordings of my every game this ranked and they are between 0:30 (the shortest) to 11 minutes (the longest recording). I just don’t believe someone would seriously need 3,5 hrs to complete 20 matches. It just doesn’t happen.
EDIT: if you are a fan of running some crazy token lock the Yes, it’s your fault your matches last 25 minutes because someone is stucked Reckless Attacking half hp bronzeshell on a HP boosted Sivanna turned into a protector.
If every match were fought to the very last moment.I believe a single game could easily exceed ten minutes. You possess the largest collection in the game, so naturally, you wouldn’t feel the hardships of battle. I can tell you that currently, the people lacks both the Jellyfish Dragon and Pandora, making game exceptionally challenging, and the duration of matches could be indefinitely prolonged.
I’ve found games typically range 6-10 minutes, with slower strategies being more like 8-12.
I’m sorry to hear Asian players are struggling with the new ticket system at the end of the event.
Please everyone bear in mind that if your time zone is UTC+ then it is normal to expect the event ends on Monday morning. Similarly, for everyone in UTC- it ends on Sunday during the day. If the event was shifted to end on Sunday for Asians then it is unfair to Americans who only get 1 weekend day during ranked.
The previous system was unfair to Europeans and Africans because it ended in the middle of the night (3am for the West Coast, going later as you go East). This forced Europeans to either stay up super late that it heavily disrupted work the next day or, more likely, wake up in the middle of the night to do the final battles then go back to sleep.
Getting up earlier on Monday to do X+12 matches is definitely annoying. However, it is less bad than what Europe/Africa have struggled with because you can get an early night on Sunday.
That said, I agree X+12 is a lot of matches to do on Monday morning. I hope they can implement a time zone solution so for Asian countries they can use their +12 tickets during the day on Sunday. @Dev_VKC I hope this is possible.
Everyone should be asking themselves wtf they’re doing if they lose sleep over a video game. I propose voting by actions: just don’t play if it affects your sleep during the work week.
Another thing that has happened in the gaming industry: a lot of layoffs are happening because companies realise they can make profit with minimum efforts by releasing battle passes etc. They don’t need to actually improve the product anymore. If people just didn’t buy them, things would change… But someone always does so the companies keep getting away with it.
Blizzard tried to fool its audience with Overwatch 2. It was basically a shell of the original game, riddled with microtransactions. Players finally had enough of it and guess what? Blizzard actually started developing Overwatch 2 now! So my advice is always: vote with your wallet, vote with your actions.
