Vulcaroth’s Chance Toxic Entrance lacks the consistency to make the combo viable, and Bluebane’s Poison Storm Entrance won’t charge Detox Strikes. I don’t think those two need a restriction.

Dude, think before you write. Gorgo being better won’t change the fact that if you nerf him the Toxic Entrance combo will still survive borderline untouched with Scorpiogeist.
If you want to see Gorgodrake nerfed then just say so, but don’t use another argument altogether as an excuse.
… There are more than dominant already and in top of that we have 2 noobs one top 10 (WRO Crisomword) and the other top 20 (DLGZ BZT) with that strategy isn’t that high enough WR…

Second form it’s FAR from being the best poison 6* sweeper. There are a bunch I play over my Gorgo (which is +3).

In all seriousness though… I have a feeling stealth would become an absolute nightmare to deal with if poison stopped countering it. That’s one of the few hard counters to stealth that exists. If we had another fleshed out archetype that countered stealth then I’d say it’s worth thinking about but right now it would probably cause stealth to be buffed through the roof.
Mark is the stealth-like archetype that not only isn’t countered by poison, it actively counters poison itself. I know it’s quite different to stealth but we’ll see exactly how it develops over time and for now there is Milgon who wants to be marked.

Edit: This was a bit off topic, I just thought of this while explaining how the mechanic worked to someone on the discord server.
If poison tick was changed to activate at the same time as a monster getting its next turn, which would be the change made in order to have roaring entrances always enter at 0 secs, this would also result in monsters without roaring entrance enter slightly faster as well unless they changed the description of roaring entrance.
Here’s a demonstration of what I mean. In this battle, I used instant poison typhoon to poison aurodragon which was at 1 hp. I skipped turns with pumpking, giving dusicyon the turn.
You can see in the next screenshot that flocculasaurus entered the battle after dusicyon got its turn which is why it is at 77 secs. If the incoming monster was a roaring entrance monster instead of flocc, it would have entered 1 sec after dusicyon.
To make it so the roaring entrance monster gets its turn before dusicyon, the poison tick would have to occur at the same time as pumpking skips its turn so the incoming monster enters the field before dusi gets a turn. If this change was made, flocculasaurus would have entered the field at the same time as punmpking skipped its turn and would have 66secs until it gets a turn instead of 77secs.
The devs could avoid this by buffing roaring entrance and changing the skill description to make it always get the first turn, giving it priority over poison tick and possibly even instant moves. The issue with that is they would be acknowledging that roaring entrance monsters not always getting the first turn due to poison is not actually a bug. If it wasn’t a bug in the first place, I don’t see much of a reason to buff roaring entrance.
