Hi ,
I take this opportunity to suggest about toxic entrance toxicity and very little brain it takes to set up poison in front lines with increasing and viable number of poison monsters .
Pls do not bring the argument of counter exists , every strategy has counters in game but the question is are they viable enough to be challenging !
So since mass sleep entrance , fast forward entrance all got time limit from start of the battle , why does toxic entrances donot have a limit ?
Poison gas is spammable at a very low TU .
There are not enough top tier purifiers ( dracarosa ? Eh can go either ways but mostly fails cos of freezecobra or that death revenge rock )
Poison is easier to set up than sleep or stealth .
Stun isn’t exactly gonna stop poison .
If I run full poison counter team , it’s easy to wreck them but can’t always play one single counter archetype .
So @Dev_VKC , is it possible to consider a 250 sec restriction on all toxic entrances ? Cos pvp is boring with all these poison teams rampaging around . Not to mention true hit on original poisoners made them even more powerful …
Discuss !
Ps: Defenders plz accept the fact poison is just too easy to setup than other strategies and place your arguments. Thank you
Padrinorca should be the counter.
If anything more is needed I would much rather see purify slapped onto some good old/new legendaries that are already strong.
Ye i considered padri to stop poison to some competitive extent but he is just not good in front lines cos apparently some intern-kun believed poisoned burst needed damage boost .
I would personally like a time restriction . It would make the toxic players think a bit instead of spamming send back and poison massacres
Poison works best endgame. In front line the strategy is mediocre at best, why make it worse?
It’s not just a matter of “counters exist”. At the moment the meta is full of poison counters. Padrinorca, Dracorosa, Aurodragon, Centaurion, Chromera, Scarleguard…
If anything after Padrinorca I hope the devs chill with poison counters for a while.
Biggest problem in the meta rn is the amount of low cost toxic entrances and sleep immune/insomnia mons. Sleep is completely unusable rn, partly due to poisons ease of use. Sleep needs specific limited legendaries to be viable, whereas anyone can slap together one of many 5* toxic entrances and an auto poisoner for an immediately competitive team???
I haven’t found toxic entrance to be particularly oppressive. It’s just one of a few different powerful strategies. If it really needed a restriction from the start of battle it should only be 100s. 250s is waaaay too much.
the funny fact is, more of poison monster, but we only have a few counters for them and few have monster immunity to poison.
I don’t encounter many problems, as long as I deal with them. Maybe nerfing on “retreat and send back” is much better
But if I were told whether to “time-limit” them I would probably agree
Sweetheart, we have fast poison killers, goch… etc and for fast poison monsters, which there are only 2 (at least that I know of which is freezecobra and the detox blast og SE), we have megalodragon, AGAIN goch who can enter as fast as a toxic entrance, technically centurian. I feel like some stuff are bound to be strong enough to be played… right?
For sleep, I’m pretty no one here likes sleep or stun meta so they don’t want to that to be strong at all.
There are other fast and very common strategies to climb too like retribution teams, cynthia frontlines, stun immunity the strategy, OoO is still very strong imo if you play thlugs but also remember, some people specifically play fast anti OoO teams right now because of the special ruling (because the fastest OoO unit oniblade and Im pretty sure many players also play poison in this special ruling for the same reason), shadow link, etc…
do we need to nerf every single one of these? I mean unless you are playing confident strike monsters or ducy, there is no reason to hate on poison teams right now. It is spooky season anyway. Let us enjoy our spoison units. :3
People should be able to use slow front line too without fear of poison / retribution nonsense . Retribution isn’t gonna change . We tried . So , imma try against poison atleast
Since I don’t have a very wide range of Poison monsters, I tried to do what I could. I went all out with no Stun Absorber in FL because after all I still had 3 out of 4 monsters with Stun Immunity in FL, and most of the time I used Toxic Conversion on Nectareon almost immediately (Maggotoids are Stun Immune).
It actually went subpar in comparison to other teams. If it doesn’t get going, you lose all the initial momentum. Also, that’s all I had as far as poison is concerned.
Most people use Freezecobra in FL, along with Polaboss/Terrordragon/Pumpgeist for maximum effect. There are some hard counters to such strategies though, namely:
• Mojinator
• Scarleguard (if he kills Freezecobra, most of the time you’re at the mercy of Stun)
• Dracorosa (particularly bad offender, as it can get rid of two key monsters at once and charge Double Bloodcrave at the same time).
• Padrinorca (This one is bad. Poison has a lot of double/multi target sweeping, this dude having Camouflage really means trouble and has 50sec Toxic Killer)
• Centaureon (dude doesn’t even lose his shield with Instant Purify and Counter Strike can kill the likes of Scorpiogeist, Oakthulhu, Blacktitan and even denies Musashoid’s revenge effect, poggers)
There is only ONE monster that is always and constantly very problematic in this context, and that’s Gorgowing/Gorgodrake. If he doesn’t die immediately, he’s gonna cut through your team very badly. Then again, it’s Mythics at fault.
Just run Pola/Freeze
Pola will become a fast detox strike killing most of the guys u mentioned except scarl (since i have no clue what this guy speed is)
If only I had Freezecobra…
Btw, Freezecobra is outsped by Scarleguard (87% VS 89%). If you use Freezecobra and the opponent has Scarleguard, you have no Stun protection and the only thing you’re guaranteed to receive is a Detox Blast (provided there’s a Toxic Entrance in 5th).
