I see the teams of top 1 players and I would not say they are properly equipped for OoO, they count on the comeback later.
Being prepare for OoO isn’t all about an instant counter, you can prepare for a comeback later by planning well, so you can more effectively counter the most popular strats in the FL
I’ll come forth and admit that my experience in PvP is limited when compared to the other posters here, i"m just not as hardcore as the others. But the couple times I lost to an OoO team was due to a misplay on my part, while other times I was able to pull a win fairly easily. OoO was a borderline OP strat back when Angel and Gyo had Sleep Immunity, but since they’ve been nerfed, it’s a lot easier to handle now.
It is indeed tough to get top 10 because is not consistent. But people keep using it because it ensure a good winrate and when you are going for actual top 10 is pretty annoying to lose to a OoO team.

As I’ve been told, creativity doesn’t usually equal wins. It’s difficult to counter everything and be creative
Because there is some setups that mess up people creativity. That’s the truth.

To set up that at the beginning of the game you need skill.
OoO doesn’t need skill to be setup.
Shots fired @ItsSherlock he’s implying you don’t have skill.
Never said that, you need to set the rest of the team too. And I am sure @ItsSherlock has enough skill.
But OoO generally doesn’t take skills in FL.
If you set it at midgame or endgame I will bow.
Actually duel is more op than ooo.it can ignore the purifying mist. And stealth did not disappear.

But it actually puts the situation to 1 on 1, there’s no way to make it instant 4 on 1. That being said, OoO has still been hit hard in the past, it doesn’t need to be changed
