Why the stun pulse Tu increase

In addition to everything mentioned by the guys here, I’m going straight to the part I came for. It was not easy to set up a double time destroyer with Haneri’s stun pulse, now it remains completely ruled out this option. Going off Haneri and playing the stun part in general, this is totally unnecessary, this is not the stun part you need attention . You punished the paralyzing pulse harder than the entrances that are really the problem

has anyone checked champion entrance? assuming its the same. tranquilizing is.

one plus side to this is that bisectors are now a lot more viable ig.

but honestly i feel stun pulse was just a part of the tactical element of the game, not overpowering at all. sad.

Only shockers got affected

I think we all agree stun pulse nerf was wrong, and it was the entrances that most people had issues with, such as shocking entrance and tranquil

Finally, the nerf to Galvbane we’ve been wanting for years!!

Yeah the stun pulse nerf went a little far, could’ve been 70TU. I’m happy with the shocking entrance nerf. Tridrakhan losing stunning entrance was a good thing too, and something which should be repeated for any other monsters with stunning entrance that are too strong.

Two things:

  1. Tranquilising entrance needs some kind of nerf (80s stun to all → 200s stun to one?)

  2. All timestrike moves should probably get a damage increase, after a bit of time to check these stun nerfs were correct and we don’t need further changes. Some monsters with stun pulse → timestrike movesets have been heavily nerfed with this update and this moveset was definitely not causing any problems, it was the most fair version of stun.

I agree. Timestrike needs a buff.

Although tbh they should just reverse the nerf for all of the one time use stun Pulse moves. Fire Dolph makes a bit more sense because it’s repeatable.

Tranq is a tricky one. I wonder if 200 secs on one mon still means it’s removing 2 from play and it’s too powerful?

Stun pulse is still doing +200s for 100TU. It’s a good control move, just not functional for setting up timestrike moves any more. If it was like this from the beginning I don’t think any of us would question it.

Tranquilising… there would be 1/4 chance that both would hit the same enemy, plus any stun immune/converter increases the chance you’ll just be facing the dreamy entrance. Yes, +200s is more than +80s but a stun hitting all the team means you really need to have proper stun protection in place or else you’ll be punished hard. It stunning one monster means you won’t get punished as hard when you’re unprotected and it’s worth noting that the targets are random so you could easily be left with your more important monsters still in play.

I always wished Tranquilising and champion entrance had stun stripped off
