Yeah rexkong is severly underestimated by the forum. I always see it in good players FL sometimes when they need like a unit that most likely one-shot the super fast unit that will disrupt them… but yeah… no, get yourself a galvbane.

Galvbane is a good sweeper for the early-mid parts of the game, in both PvE and PvP. It’s the best choice.
Wolfrozor is a decent all-round damage dealer in PvE. Viridizardon is similar, having accelerate team that’s useful to speed up some things like sleepers.
Rexkong is for PvP use only, typically in the front line with something cheap at the back of your team to throw so it can remove a problem monster right at the start of the battle. However, beyond the earlier stages of PvP it only has uses in particular teams (e.g. to help remove stun protection quickly so you can stun lock someone - this is what NoelLemon is referring to).
