⏬ Which monsters need a Nerf?

:flushed_face::flushed_face:just wow

revert the prismegasus nerfs. at least the shielding one. justifying them with the addition of some SE monsters (the BT ones) is ridiculous

Yes, actually it was in the top 5 during 2020~2022. Sorry I can’t be more specific. The meta back then was protector spam. To be honest, the game has become much more complicated now than it was.

I’m pretty sure I’ve battled many of you in this season or previous seasons. I think that’s normal for competitive PvP that top competitors copy or adjust teams toward the optimal setup. After that, the rest comes down to skill, decision-making, and a bit of luck.

You are a perfect example. You forced yourself to adapt your team according to the meta and ended up finishing in 2nd place. That’s a successful example, and it should be the kind of thing we want to see, except…

At the same time, we’ve heard your complaints as well as the negative feedback from other users.

Our goal is to create a fresh meta every season, but we will try to slow down the release of meta-changing monsters. For example, if we had released Melusine+Hippotron before Whitara+Blightosis, the meta might not have changed as drastically. But she is still a powerful monster.

Does being forced to change your team bother you more, or does figuring out the perfect lineup bother you more? Perhaps we can rely on the Limited List to refresh the meta between major monster releases.

We’ll need to figure this out.

The counter relationships in the game are way too forced. Right now, there are only three types of teams.

First, the Water Lily paired with the White Octopus. If your frontline can’t counter them, you’ll lose the game very quickly.

Second, the Orchid and her 39-speed teammates. Again, if you don’t counter them, you’ll probably lose 6–8 of your teammates right away. That kind of situation is extremely oppressive.

Third, teams that counter the two I just mentioned. But don’t forget you still have to defend against the Lily’s turn-skipping.

Is this really the kind of game environment you want to see?

I saw Coltraz is still complaining about Spy M this season, but he’s really just a last-resort pick. He’s only meta because the current environment forced him into that role, and people can’t even see that.

What do you think about Nephytis+Rinmu+Vivienne, which was the most used endgame this season?

Hard to say. There is only one real Blightosis user (a team with 40% speed or lower) in the Top 20, and 4 among the Top 50.

What you mentioned is the hard counter. Without it, you may lose more or you may not. There are ways to beat them in the mid or late game. At least that’s been my case. I don’t use those counters myself, and I rarely lose to Blightosis teams.

According to your statistics, what was used most in FL by players this season?

Those monsters he mentions, or the beginning of C.W.?

Yes, this is your direct data. But if it were me, I would need some indirect data: namely, how many members are there in this team?

That’s the most straightforward counter‑strategy. Also, how many agents M and Nii are there for his counter‑strategy?

Then we can combine all this to look at the problem I mentioned.

When you put together a team of flowers and low-speed units,

you almost have no chance of winning with this composition.

Top players can’t stand this—it’s not game strategy at all, just rock-paper-scissors.

Firstly, because you don’t mention the C.W?

The Super Epics that destroy entire teams?

we are going to be impartial, why not mention everything that Generic?

I mentioned it, but I won’t single it out. It falls under this category.

CW isn’t the core issue; it only serves as a counter-strategy for the Nii branch.

Why don’t you mention the mythical 10-cost monsters called CW? BTW @Dev_VKC It was necessary limit Cipry to 1

I was complaining about her since her release, because she (and Arbustodon) was a terrible release that killed many original Frontline strategies with less popular waifus (and I mean various Kanna frontlines that I ran and loved).

They’re not the main topic, they’re just there for Nyx, apparently

Without NYX, they are not a problem that should be addressed.

Honestly is not “thinking” at all, is just make an awakened myth, dependable for a rng skill, so, no thank you
