I think we already can see before and after cost there
Well this will mess the whole game plan
I think so
I think the number of mythics in any given special egg needs to be drastically reduced…
Now that we have ~100 mythics, getting 4 copies of one monster is insanely reliant on the RNG. Most “special egg” have ~30 have mythics in the pool… which is just way too many. It should be ~10x different mythics max, with a greater variety in what gets featured from one egg to the next.
Furthermore, to offset the increased odds of getting one specific myth that you’re after, decrease the featured mythic hatch rate from 0.75% to either 0.60% or 0.50%. That way it doesn’t effect the buying statistics of the “whales,” but potentially increases likelihood of spending on an egg to get a mythic that doesn’t directly feature one of the small handful you may be waiting for.
More specifically: right now the odds of getting a featured mythic in an egg is ~1 in 135, and a non-featured mythic is ~1 in 12500 (0.008%). By shifting the stats as suggested above, with the featured mythic dropping down to 0.5% and the, say, 5 non-featured mythics increasing to 0.05%, that makes the featured mythic appearance rate ~1 in 200, and the non-featured mythic rate ~1 in 2000. Not exactly a reliable win per se, but still an improvement in my opinion.
Pffft you are correct, I’m just an idiot and never noticed.
Wow.
indeed
I think your head is in the wrong place for this one. Spenders definitely do not want the featured mythic drop rate lowered! When spending for a mythic they want that one, not random ones. I’m sure they’d prefer 1% featured, 0% standard pool if they could have it.
I agree the standard pool are now absurdly rare that awakening one takes a ridiculous amount of hatches on average. However, the fix to this problem is the gold egg which features a specific standard pool mythic (two of these each day). So basically you’ll get some random copies of them and if you actually want to awaken one there’s an opportunity every few weeks from the gold egg.
Does that resolve what you were thinking about, or not really?
I suppose so. I guess mostly I’m just bemoaning how difficult it is to awaken a mythic without spending actual money. Us F2P-ers really don’t stand a chance.
I know that’s by design, and I don’t fault the game for needing to turn a profit to keep it going, but… Damn.
Don’t get disheartened. It’s possible for F2P to do incredibly well in this game and build a good account. More so now than ever with the shrine. Be disciplined with your gems and focus on team building and you can do it
Agree broo
It is difficult to do so
But with bit luck and patience you actually can do it
I am too a f2p
After long time i have 2 awakens
so its possible !
For f2p it is possible to awaken maybe 2 to 3 mythics a year.
You just have to wait for anniversary egg that should cost on average between 1200 gems to 1600 on average
On the normal eggs you should have somewhere between 2600 gems to 3200 gems to awaken something from scratch. Thus you should avoid those eggs and only spend if you are within range
Me too. I’ve managed Carmilla, plume, Maeve and one other so far
Lemon and the others speak words of truth! Get the free gems you can, always keep 500 gems for the shrine and use the gems carefully to get the stuff most important to you.
I’ve spent almost nothing on this game and my dedicated time and careful spending has got me 22 awakened mythics…
Skipping the battle is a very good suggestion.
You can’t use yourself as a example because devs give you gems,
Its like a son saying i had nothing but my father give me a small loan of a million dollars
You calling yourself F2P and showing your collection as an example of something “achievable without spending” was not on my bingo card this year
Maybe you should sit this one topic out
Your only true free Mythic might be that Hazuki that you got a full refund for after awakening it when you knew banner was released with an error.
Not that only dragulus also, where he awakned it after the monster was featured in a wrong banner and got full refund
KD - The false F2P
@Coltraz @Mr.X You guys have no idea what you’re talking about. I had no benefit from the Dragulus banner mistake and only I know how many extra gems I’ve received / my general hatching luck / my fortune shrine luck to gauge whether my collection is representative or not.
The reality is that I’ve got slightly more than I would otherwise, but not by a significant margin. I mean, does it make much difference to my point if it was 20 rather than 22? My mythics were from careful spending.

Disclaimer
I am closely working with developers of this game and I am getting gems from them for the work I do.
Then we can say your post was not misleading and missing some facts.
@Coltraz, @Mr.X Why so salty? Like KD said, he has dedicated a lot of time to the game, more than many of us combined. He has made tools for other players that literally have been included in the game! Devs didn’t have to compensate him for his work but they did. And that amount is probably obsolete compared to all the rest of the grinding he’s done.
For the most part, he hasn’t spent on gems but has grinded most available gems there are. That way you get several hundred of gems per month only from grinding. Those things gave him and other similar players access to the original 1200 gem shrine as well. And like we already discussed in another thread earlier, you can’t really predict an error in the banner. Why use that as a means to discredit??
