My mythics are from fortune shrine gems, it’s as simple as that

Also stating that he got 5k gem’s refunded on wrong banners

That’s pure jealousy right there :joy::joy::joy:

I had 840 gems refunded.

I’m also something like -2000 gems below average on the fortune shrine overall.

No jealousy on my side, just adding a necessary context to his claims of his account being f2p which it is not and it will never be at this point.

@Exu you do not have to defend him, he has his own brain lol

Not jealousy its just misleading to state something like am free to play player when i work closely with devs and get gems as a reward

And to state that i awakend a collection where no less then 4 mthics are a result of error

He didn’t even say this, he said “I’ve spent almost nothing on this game”. Which is completely true. Again you guys are coming up with your own facts.

And say if a completely F2P benefits from a banner error by complete accident and gets refunded 1k gems, they aren’t F2P anymore?? How does that even work?

You guys are both big time spenders so why are you F2P purists anyway? It’s kinda pathetic tbh

Am actually a f2p if we are using the same logic,

The amount KD received from devs definitely exceeds all my spending’s on this game

The difference is I would never call myself a F2P player. He needs to stop calling himself one and embrace that he achieved that much by both dedication AND working for the game.

Just a little transparency would not hurt him anything.

You guys are spreading far more misinformation than me!

Look, I know my post can be taken as me saying I’m F2P. I didn’t go through the specifics because it would easily mislead people into thinking my account was not representative for my point.

The point is that I’ve awakened those mythics from fortune shrine gems and careful spending. As for how many gems I’ve had overall compared to a free player it’s a bit more but not significant enough that you could easily say a free player playing as I have could be on 16-20 mythics, which is more than what others who give examples of a small handful.

You just proved our points that you should stay away from this topic since you are not a good representative of an account that can be achieved without spending. End of story.

Key word you quoted: mislead.

My account is pretty close to representative

Can I show the first page of my my mythics and call it too a close to representative account of a F2P player?

I mean… KD did play without spending a dime on the game for many years and he established himself as one of the top players already during that time. So of course his account is “representative”. His progress has come thanks to hard work rather than buying gems. That’s why he said he spent almost nothing.

Why is this even so important to you? :stuck_out_tongue:

@Killerdog
Can you acknowledge that money is fungible? So they’ll leave you alone.

@Mr.X @Coltraz
Can yal acknowledge that he deserves his mythics no matter how he got em?

See I can do peace😂

He deserves his mythics, as we all do. Never said he did not. But we do not hide info about how we got to this point.

I did not hide anything important to the point I was making. Coltraz and others are just assuming the factors I didn’t elaborate on played a significant role in building my collection, which they didn’t. What’s made the difference is the fortune shrine and my careful choice of when to hatch.

However, I’m sorry for not giving excessive details to stop people from jumping to conclusions. I didn’t think that what I wrote would be taken so controversially or as bragging. That was not the intent. I should have thought more about how some people would take it.

You’re both right his account doesn’t accurately represent 99% of “light spenders” but he’s also right when he says his account is a unicorn. Shoulda just added “results will vary” :joy:

I actually had a super secret conversation with dev VKC not too long ago where he confirmed that @Killerdog was spending thousands of dollars to awaken mythics to make up for some of his shortsighted gem spending habits that made sense on paper but not in practice. They kept quiet about this so KD could continue making it seem like f2p can awaken 20 mythics if they save and spend the right way.

Anyway, all of what I just said was only about as true as the following quotes:

F2p accounts generally don’t awaken 20 mythics just by grinding and playing it smart. Even so, @Coltraz and @Mr.X are grossly misrepresenting or straight up lying about half the stuff they’re saying lmao. The thing about the hazuki banner is completely ridiculous because not a single person complaining about those refunds happening would’ve passed up a chance to take part in it if they could have a do over. KD planned to awaken it regardless of what happened so he just got lucky being awake at the time unlike coltraz who was taking a snooze :skull: (egg hatching time zone disadvantage?)

I’d consider this a lie if you aren’t thinking of KD’s account as representative of being well above the 99th percentile of small spenders but I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt.

New eggs release at 3am/4am in my time zone. I was extremely lucky that I happened to still be awake on that one night. I was very excited by the egg and hatched right away. Normally I’d wait until morning so I don’t make any bad choices with my sleepy mind. It was super unlikely I was ever going to be a part of that!

Yeah, whenever I use my own account as an example for anything it’s at the level of the very top end of free players / medium-high spender. I don’t mean to kid anyone, I know that’s where it’s at. I’m sure my game time is also an anomaly among players.

Still, I hope people can believe that the fortune shrine and careful gem spending can get you very far with building a collection and awakening mythics. Anniversary mythics are effectively half price so that’s an easy 1-2 mythics a year then you can get a couple of others each year from all the free gems. It doesn’t start that way because you need to collect all the copies, but later on definitely get a consistent flow of them.
For example, 10 of my 22 awakened mythics I got in 2023. That was me finishing off a few that I’d picked up some earlier copies of, plus two new ones (Nyx, Vixenblade), an anniversary one, a ridiculously lucky free hatch of Hazuki (can discount this one), a shop mythic (tickets saved over 1.5-2 years), a couple of standard pool that I needed only one shard (one bought with neo ticket), etc. In 2022 I think I got 3 awakened mythics (one anniversary, one shop, one limited) because I was slowly collecting shards for the mythics I wanted to awaken.

I think realistically you can expect to awaken 3-4 a year with free gems, if you’re playing all the content and going for the anniversary mythics. In later years you’ll get more like 5-6 on average. Having a veteran account with legendaries at +9 boosts it a bit because you get 6* tickets for buying shop mythics.

When you apply this logic to my own account… mythics have been around for 5 years and fortune shrine for close to 3, so count it as 4 years total that’s something like 3.5 * 2 + 5.5 * 2 = 18 awakened mythics… which isn’t far off my 22. Let’s say roughly 15-20 for a free player maximising everything is where I’d expect the top end to be.
