Lol, you spent $100, got a bunch of REALLY bad arks and think you got a good deal? lol, i just spent 99 cents on the game and got ALL egg exclusive monsters using egg timing… THAT is a good deal :P
Even I’m starting to get tired of people boasting about their egg timing ability. Quit trying to make people feel worse about it, please. Egg timing is going to be removed, and after some time your accomplishment of mastering the wheel will have given you no advantage over anyone else.
People have different perspectives. For him getting some egg Arks and support this awesome game were worth it.

I posted this attempting to be anything but negative, since I feel like a lot of the posts in this forum are complaints. I wanted a positive outlook on it because positivity can be contagious and I should be optimistic with the new update coming out. The admins created forums for us to share our suggestions in and they’re listening, so we should see improvements. Yes, maybe there could be slightly better chances for egg exclusive arks, but it is a gamble. Also, I think the game was designed for people to have just a few egg exclusive arks, not all of them like egg timers have, that’s why they are removing the egg wheel.
Another thing is, not all of these arks are bad, I use Anubis and Goldenhorn in PvP, and Bloodclaw, Leafy and Brakie in my single player team. Regarding Leafy and Brakie, they could have taken me twenty hours to capture on my own. In the USA minimum wage is $7.25 per hour. If someone worked for 14 hours earning minimum wage they would have enough money to buy 13,000 gold and possibly save themselves lots of time grinding and earn a few egg exclusive arks too. So the eggs can be a loophole around grinding time, they could save 30% of the time it would take to grind by working for money and spinning a wheel (and also get you some great egg exclusive arks). However, the egg is a gamble and all results do greatly vary, as Ashley said, so it could also be 14 hours of work down the drain. But then again, grinding for Leafie and Brakie could be 14 hours down the drain because you may not catch them and the chance to catch them doesn’t add up every time you fail.
For me, I’m slightly leaning towards wanting the eggs to have better results. Yes, I did just explain how it’s a loophole around grinding hours, and also a way to get great new arks, but it is a gamble. You could wind up spending $100 and come out with a bunch of plasmos, lobos and spookys. I don’t want the change to be too dramatic, but I do want some improvements with the contents of the egg.

If the developers say that’s okay, then that’s okay. But you don’t get around what the developers want. If they want you to have no advantage over the people who didn’t time, then that’s how it’s going to be.
Now if they don’t mind that you have a big advantage over those who didn’t time, then I will have to disagree with them.
I agree its unfair and i could (ive tried it once and quit but i did do pretty good) but not everyone can and timing was never meant to exist so its wrong and unfair

Same with me, and your doing good i bet without egg only arks and they will be released to so soon they will become nothing and the timers will have done it for nothing and same with me, i dont like timing and its called gambling for a reason so calm your butter and like i said enjoy your advantage now that will become nothing later on
FWIW I did it on a second file, it makes the game super boring as someone said. I personally think all talk of it should be deleted from the forums I had no idea what it was until i found the forums and everyone talking about it. I haven’t run into many all S class teams on PVP so I don’t think it’s a huge widespread problem but until it is fixed any mention of it should be scrubbed. I realise this gives an advantage to already existing egg timers but I would estimate that to be around 50-100 people out of ~60,000 which will slowly diminish once it’s fixed. I understand the update can’t come quick enough beause of holidays but until then if no one talks about it there will be less new timers.
Also I’m a big fan of the game which is why I did it on a second file, The devs are in a tough spot with regards to stopping it because there are already people who have taken huge advantage of it. Even as a timer I would support something like any gold made in egg-spins be divided by ~10 once the new update is released. At least that would bring everyone closer to even and the people that timed tons of gold would still have some reward for the time they spent. Although I’m not sure the devs can discern gold made via eggs vs gold made via pvp/dungeons (assume they can see gold bought).
Limiting the bonus cap to 1 is a good idea and removes most of the advantage of having an all S class team so i’m all for that.

Except it won’t become ‘nothing’ later on. Do you think when all the egg arks will be released (same goes for OM) that you’ll automatically find them S grade? And I doubt they will be as common as bitefish, more like they’ll be closer to rexy’s or frostjack’s catch rate, which means you’ll have to grind for a reasonably long time to make S ranked egg arks. Also, what about all the ill-gotten S ranked hatchlings and starters? Surely, ‘nothing’ is only relevant if you’re not counting the time it takes to get them.
So just sold the alst of my cards from reign of dragon. (Card game) and about to spend £70 on gold coins. I will report anything of value i get. Anything under 7.5 stars i will not mention. Wish me luck
