This was actually the first OM that I managed to race through and get the mission monster without the need for eggs. I’ve been in Pool B since getting the Shadowstalker and since then have had to rely on either the eggs that have been provided during the mission or have had to buy some.
I grinded through levelling most of my arks up recently, but the thing that helped the most was as soon as the mission was advertised and I saw it was going to be a fire Arkadian, I got to work on making sure I had some strong water Arkadian’s for the front of my lineup.
Just saying, but I think missions SHOULD be hard. I mean they have a right to be. You have to work hard for everything in this game. This isn’t something that’s totally different from the rest of the game. In general, if you can’t beat some place/boss you just go train.
You probably aren’t far enough in the game to realize that on the crescent island there is a training spot that can get you 2-9k xp every fight. It makes training monsters levels up from 60-99 a piece of cake.
Anyways, I like ‘earning’ my way to an OM monster. That’s my opinion anyways…
I completed with zero level 99’s. I have 3 arks that are just over 90 rest are between 30-87. Wasn’t to bad, couldn’t do it in one sitting and didn’t finish until today (thursday) but since it was my first OM finish, I still pulled copper horn. I’m glad these aren’t a breeze…wouldn’t be fun otherwise.
