He doesn’t need a nerf, he needs the power of his moves moved away from rng. That’s the problem with him, that you turn the match into a coin flip.
Bunkerbeast may help now…
How many people are going to get bunkerbeast though? He’s like the diet version of Deo.
Z19 GaryOak
Lmao diet version!
why the diet version? hes the perfect counter to Stratus, SS and domt forget double knockback which is also very helpful
Deo is just a fast blast without tactics
but i have to agree that bunker will be very very rare if it is a 4% egg
In the “test the new monster” thingy in the SCB, he couldn’t 1 shot stratus. His moves are slow, so by the time he hits strat, he can fill life back to full and then put a shield on. The slight hope is the instant load, but that takes 50 TU before you can use it. But it’s easier to judge, once some people hatch him and give their opinion.
Not saying he should be an instant killer, but I don’t see him as a stratus counter. But he can deal with SS, so the one on one only charges strat himself, but not DSA.
I feel he can be good but with bane being a very common 5th in the higher levels bunker seems like he won’t be used too often with the tu’s of his moves you’ll need him +9 and accelerated to work really well in my opinion.
Edit: Just realised this is a ss thread my bad
He doesnt have to one shot stratus. He ignores shield and hold ground, plus sleep immue. Thats more then enough to counter him.
Plus he doesnt have weaknesses beside his “high tu”, which is somewhere about poison eaters tu ehich is fine
This new monster will change meta a bit, just a bit since he needs (as shown in test SCB) help and his help mostly are limited.
I don’t think he would replace Deo at fl and tbh still Deo+2tk+TT are more reliable.
Maybe we could use him at late-middle.
About SS I’m agreeing with old players,SS is a lot RNG,and this needs to end.
And while I’m here can I ask for one good monster with all purify skill?both sleep and posion immune monster JUST for support. Think about it,I think it would be good support.
F2P Arash
And then sleep lock would come back. Just bloodthirst the enemy’s purify monster.
This quote is from the pvp comes thread, which is mainly discussing Soul Stealer as the problem, so I will post my reply here.
I’ve been on vacation for a week, and may be behind slightly, but I’ve played the game almost since the beginning and I feel I can put a slight input.
The real problem isn’t the cause, it’s the effect.
The cause is how easily it is to use SS. Now, the effect is that it forces people to use a very limited monster pool to react to this common threat. That’s all fine, but the real problem is when there is so little you can do, that you’re forced to use this limited pool. This, in turn, makes you considerably predictive and vulnerable.
Ss users know that their front line will work, and if it so happens that your enemy runs a “counter” then you know exactly what you have to use to “counter the counter”
This makes pvp so repetitive that it becomes a trend.
How do we change that? SS needs to have a bit more of a counter than it does at this point, and I don’t mean a ridiculously rare legend that only a select few will get.
Ok, they made eggsecutioner sleep immune. Big whoop, it doesn’t do more than tickle a common SS front line.
Like a few have said, removing hg may be an option. SS didn’t have hg at the start of the game, but it also had a TU of like 250 for sleep all and it took 400 seconds for death sentence to activate (this is longer than the amount of time a monster is asleep if left untouched)
I would be interested to see other options, but it can’t be something incredibly rare.
Well, correct me if i say something stupid but… What about bringing DSA to 400 seconds to activate again? Not a solution but dealing with SS may be a bit easier
I am going to say just limit the number of times his sleep all can be used, Decrease his sleep all chance to 30-35%, or lower his defense stats.
80 extra seconds for deathmark to trigger is not enough, and removing hg would be too much of a nerf.
why sleep all bothering you when almost every fl with SS use one-on-one to put sleep on enemies monsters. And 400 secs for DSA is crazy idea it would instantly change SS to trash.
Back before the buff SS was trash.
Too many people are coming on here and talking about limited legendaries and all the FL combos people can do. I don’t believe that was the original focus of the discussion. The discussion is about what people can do when they only have 2-3 legendaries. SS is a solid front liner, more so than the others which are unlimited.
My last post was talking about nerfing SS so it’s easier for people to counter without needing a good front line themselves. “Nerfing” by removing the hold ground so he’s easier to kill but adding a small revenge passive to let him do something even when he is countered. A nerf to make him a worse front liner would be good, but I hear what people are saying that it’s simply the fact he’s the best front liner from the unlimited legendaries.
The other way to add diversity would be to buff other FL options. Personally I don’t know what to suggest here. I never actually had trouble with SS front lines when I was new to the game and my first legendaries were Galio + 2x shocking stunners. I think probably I didn’t struggle because I put more thought into my front line than most new players. After getting thrashed by everyone with a TT on their front line I built around how to beat that. Now I’m far stronger and like to bounce around my battle points so I can get some quick and easy wins I see a ton of SS front lines in the mid-tier. I can see why some would hate not having a good FL and being limited in how good their team is for PvP. I hope you guys can come up with ideas for creating diversity in FLs from the unlimited legendaries rather than simply moaning about not wanting particular monsters buffed/nerfed.
If you want to make him a worse front liner lower the speed, simple as that. Lower it enough and you can justify having a higher percentage on the sleep all since you have time to kill it, plus it makes it better in pve.
Deodragon is terrifying midgame. He is kind of wasted in the front.
not with 2TK and TT legendaries, which means you now face bloodthirsty and half of your team is dead
For TT just bring a fast monster with searguard. Then kill the TT and punish the enemy for having 3 of their monsters at 250 seconds.
Deo is far more terrifying when you have 101 seconds to deal with him before he kills 4 monsters. It’s like deathmatch mode without the drawbacks.
