I also share the disappointment with Vday egg. With there being nothing exciting for free players, except the shop monster

That being said if this is the extent of our Valentine’s “festival” I am very disappointed indeed. No new story, no festival egg, just a paid mythic banner (which I must say was actually alright as we get 10x leggy tickets extra).
For real, where is the story content?

Omg I was saving up lots of gems bcos I thought It was coming a festival but… Eggs with paid gems? That’s just stupid. I’m extremely disappointed. What I should do with 100 free gems? Wait even more?

No I think u can use those on infernicon or just wait for another festival or any other egg
@Dev_VKC When I first wrote this thread I hadn’t read properly that the 20 paid gems egg also gave 10x 6* tickets. I want to say…
For the first time ever I spent money on the game. This deal is actually excellent! Only a small spend (£12 for me) to get a guaranteed mythic, basically a legendary of your choice and a chance for a bit more in the 9 eggs.
In the past I was critical of these eggs because getting 1 copy of a mythic when you need 4 for most is not worth the money. However, the 6* tickets really sweeten the deal. I’ve been waiting for a good, cheap deal like this to spend on. Thanks for adding it!
That said, no particular egg for people to spend on normal gems on this Valentine’s Day is different from the norm and looks weird when we’ve got a returning story event, paid egg and login bonus.

Excaliburdragon. Not one I was hoping for but not the worst (didn’t want Deus X, Cypridrus, Rodeknight or Lilithia). I got a Cosmodragon dupe too.

At least you got something good for PVE, the New Year’s pack came out mechanubis that does not work for PVE or PVP
Mechanubis is brilliant for PvE. The AI doesn’t know how to play against overwatch… it just hits them and brings them back into play a lot of the time. The monster itself struggles to charge bloodthirst unless it’s in final form but you can use it for a good start in most PvE battles
Aurodragon, so you could get 4 of them at the endgame, more if you have atrahasis too. That’s why I said he’ll shine in UC

. Isn’t it weird f Valentine’s egg was released some days before the right date? What if they want to keep this new “festival egg” idea (substitute it for the 1 mythic each 10 eggs pack + 6star tickets x 10 p2w option), but they have doubts about doing it or not, I mean, since it’s a big change, they don’t know how people are going to react; so they released their new idea days before Valentine’s in order to analyze people’s reaction and compare it to the earnings this mythic’s egg will bring the first days. If players reaction is very bad then they could just release a festival egg (which I guess they have already prepared) on February 14 th to surprise everyone, keep them happy and therefore nothing happened. On the other hand, if people’s reaction are not that bad and the earnings are big compared to the previous festival egg offert, they will keep this new idea
Btw, I regret of my first impression about the new monster in the shop. It’s true he is more meant for pve events but I also like him for PVP (even if his skills are limited there). This is the kind of monsters the shop needs, although there is no harm on releasing a good PVP monster next time 
(since this is a very good pve one)
I too have been thinking, about VKC’s post a few days ago in the bugs thread:
“Sorry, I lied 
The update will not be this week, it will be near the end of this month.”
Perhaps they did plan on releasing new monsters in a festival but the update needs to happen first and since it got delayed they weren’t able to do a good egg. All the other stuff planned could go ahead but we didn’t get any new monsters.
opened 2 packs and 1 nothing and in the second dupe omegasdragon. I don’t even have lots of legends and I got a dupe. I think i’m just going to leave the game for a long while like I did years ago
