Valentine’s Egg

It’s here boys. Two new monsters as per usual.

The legend:

The mythic(second form):

Awakened:

Other featured monsters: Nulltron, The Rockoid, Azrazel, and the red and green flutters.

Rolled 2 packs, and got the mythic :grin: exactly the guy I wanted, so very much satisfied. Second form seems perfectly viable, at last some truly risk free stun protection. No protect, no chrono, and no stun locking into oblivion. Just a simple and honest “no thank you” to any stun that wants to mess me up. Along with a free repulse, convenient assist for fellow survivor monsters, and some nice double sweeping if he happens to stick around. I plan to squeeze LOTS of use out of this bad boy.

As for Mr. koala… I must say, not impressed in the slightest. His TUs are disgustingly high, even his SS meant to hurry it along is relatively slow going. His claim to fame is helping out fellow chargers, which I suppose in theory could be effective. I’ve seen Botanic pull some bat-**** craziness before, so I feel he may deserve a chance to prove himself. On his own merit though, I feel like just the horrendous TUs will hold him back immensely, despite his top notch passives.

So will Time Warp increase his own seconds by 100 as well, effectively. Putting him in battle for 260s at that point to be close for the Survivor?

I was just wondering that. Tried to look deeply into the way it was phrased, comparing it to other moves and such, couldn’t conclude anything. So I’ll just hustle up and evolve it soon so I can test it out.

Well it says increase the number of seconds of all monsters. So I would say yes. He is a very good monster. Nice to have a new field control passive. I’m still waiting for my anti-posion passive.

Yes it increase his own seconds. In second form the TU is 160 so it’s effectively a 260TU stun flash that bypasses all stun protection and camouflage but also pushes your teammates back by 100s.

In final form it is 84TU so doesn’t put him into timestrike range or anything like that.

Testing Sanctiguard out now, it’s the name of Aethereon’s second form. Time warp does indeed affect himself as well, which is a bit of a shame but also a bit of a relief, since otherwise once it and repulse were spent up he’d have nothing else useful to do while waiting out those last 70 seconds until Survivor is ready. This way he just uses them both up, then he’s ready to go.

Insulator field seems to be working as intended, despite what someone else said about it not functioning properly… worth noting however, is that all stun related passives are still able to trigger; namely converter, counter and absorber. The only thing the passive does is to grant stun immunity to all monsters that didn’t have any sort of protection before, so it kinda makes sense I suppose. So converters can still be worth running alongside him since they can take advantage of the nullified stun effect, and if you do have maybe 1 or 2 optional stun moves, you can still use them to shut down an enemy absorber even while Guard’s on the field.

Does anybody knows whether energy charge from koala works for Sobeking or not?

Yeah that was me, I believe a lot of us expected it to work like a stun immune field similar to the stun immune pvp we had. Absorbers still get blasted by stun, which kinda defeats the purpose and benefit of running him with xyz to finally take out the downsides associate with him. It actually makes xyz even worse as currently constructed if they’re run together.

I guess if this is how they meant it to be, they’ll have a to take a good hard look at the rest of the move set because it’s very underwhelming with the way the passive works right now.
