Because the most important ones are the limited monsters, that’s what makes us pick which egg we roll anyway. The 6th pack guaranteed featured could maybe be guaranteed one we don’t have (the times it’s not pre-determined).
Thing is, why shouldn’t dupes allow for some legitimate use for the player? It would make people feel less bad about dropping money, and it definitely wouldn’t make them decide not to spend in the future. If anything it makes them more likely since they get more guaranteed value, so that’s a win for both players and devs. For the .1% of players who have almost everything boosted and have no use for it… they can just not use it, simple as that. It doesn’t have to help every single player, 99.9% seems plenty close to me.
I completely agree it’s a nice design idea. I won’t argue against it any more
If the Devs are happy to do it and work the game around it then that’s great. They already decided to re-work the balance on Omegamids so we get more but the newest legendaries take two each. Their ability to make changes for the desire of the community is brilliant.
@Killerdog I am beginning to think you are a developer of this game or atleast work for them…
He is not endorsed by the devs.
Lol. Maybe I’m the secret assassin Dev sent to shoot down the ideas they’re too polite to say no to
They come to praise all the others while I do the dirty work.
Or maybe I’m the alter ego of another forum user who likes to talk with myself to discuss all the viewpoints on topics
He’s just a buzzkill, at all times, regardless of the idea. Definitely not a dev. More like that annoying kid in class who tells on you for whispering during silent lunch.

Lol but if I didn’t know better I would say that killerdog is the alter ego of GMagic
So I should only spend if I spend $80+? that’s completely stupid.
Well it might like be reminding you of school because you’ll never be graduating out of this class, I’m not going anywhere. (Forgive me, no insult meant it was just too tempting). Seriously though I hope you find me less irritating as time goes on. I will often offer a different opinion in discussions and I guess that means I can be a buzzkill a lot of the time. Sorry for that.
Welcome to F2P games where you either play for free and take what you get or, to get any proper benefit, need to spend huge amounts of money. Strangely the huge paywall actually helps out the free players because it means most people don’t spend anything instead of all the free players struggling to keep up with those who are just putting in small amounts to the game. It makes a game like this far more satisfying to play for free rather than one which encourages lots of small spending and in order to be competitive at all you need to make small payments yourself.
Yeah, just because something is one way, doesn’t mean that it should be that way. To say otherwise is a logical fallacy, and saying it should stay that way because it is, is an extension of said fallacy.
The devs literally miss out on a ton of low spenders due to the rates, and the fact dupes exist. I would happily spend a small amount in order to have some satisfaction in the game, and have done so in the past.
You wouldn’t need to pay lots of small amounts in order to be competitive because team cost exists.
Agreed Zard. I would have spemt more if they charged less or fixed dupes. Although…My $190US has gotten me to 24 legs in 5 months. Maybe that’s spending a lot. But I also have spent a lot of time on this game lol.
Fixing dupes is definitely necessary in order to secure future business from their customers. Many will get drawn in by the new monsters each time but when people are valuing just that monster alone there will be fewer people spending money. I also think that they need a larger variety of valuable items so they have more to offer without giving out too much of one thing. For example, if a legendary potion was given out for each dupe (even at the cost of 1 gem) this would drastically increase the amount of an item released which is currently restricted and very valuable. If there was something else in the game we liked but we needed lots of then that could be given out for every dupe and we’d be happy, without it disrupting the balance of anything.
Talking about what would make us spend money yes I would be spending money if there were small offers or benefits from me spending ~$20 every 4 months. However, that’s me talking as a free player and we all have different spending habits. I’ve known many gamers who spend more than $1000 a month and the prices in this game would make them happy because they’d comfortably be among the top players from their spending.

Seriously dude learn to get your message across using less words. The term “brevity” could really help you out. As a rule of thumb, if you’re having to type novels to explain your thoughts, maybe you’re reaching a little too much. I say this in hopes that it helps you get your points out there better.
3.5+1+X worked only for you, not for everyone.
@GMagic Let’s all be respectful of one another, shall we? @Killerdog has put out some of the most thoughtful & valuable comments in this entire forum. Just because you disagree it doesn’t warrant this type of negative reaction.
That was easily my most respectful of the posts… there is a huge portion of this community that doesn’t want to read a book on here. I made a suggestion to get points across quicker, I don’t see that as disrespectful.
@GMagic I know long posts are a pain to read and I try to keep mine as short as possible. However, when people are disagreeing with me then I become forced to give proper reasoning to my arguments, which takes more words. You can see in my posts when I’m actually talking to people they are shorter.
I’m not someone who writes points without giving some explanation, especially when I’m saying stuff that the majority would disregard quickly because it differs from their opinion. I hope that I gain your respect in the future so you enjoy reading my posts. I have to say that this kind of retaliation and rudeness I get really puts me off writing any guides for the game, which is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time.
