actually no. its the opposite. i tend to run teams with 2 fast (around 70 speed) and 2 slow mons (around 30 speed).
Nyx basically stops me from playing unusual mid-speed teams because she takes 2 monsters out of the equation and the slower ones can be beaten.
what she does is limit variety of all teams. you can’t run fast teams for obvious reasons. you can’t run mid speed teams and since you can almost guarantee whoever uses nyx builds around her to counter slow teams you can’t run those either.
and that was before she was buffed…
her problem is she punishes monsters that have mid speed when she is really there to make them more viable since she is a counter to high speed which in turn also counter mid speed teams.
I didn’t complain about nyx altough her buff seems a bit exaggerated , I dislike the speed frontline run , despite making a meme about coltraz and how weirdly devs always listen to him … This also is just a side thing what I dislike is this :
We can see here that a lot of members agreed on this , @BVN_03 has one of the biggest YouTube channel and help promoting this game by providing great content ,but vkc didn’t even bother answering him ? And don’t answer most of us he answers only the same members and this is shamefull So to get a reply on why onyxia got this unfair nerf that no one requested we must spend thousands dollar$ ? So if any of us requests to dev why did you nerf onyxia it will remain with no answer untill , duck , killer dog or coltraz or the other spenders do to get an answer !

Running some mid FL to counter Nyx and lose against everything else?
So just to counter Nyx I need to make an entire FL of slow monsters which will do terrible against everything else.
So it will :
Low speed legendaries with high tu sweeping moves against low speed mythics with low tu sweeping moves this is even worst
Oh I forgot to mention: tanky mythics
I already addressed why that’s a bad faith argument as pointed out by @Tanbeer. Something is very wrong with a frontline when players have to drastically weaken their team to counter it.
Ah yes, the king of bad faith arguments. Name one player that got top 20 or higher using those two in the frontline without nyx or +7 awakened mythics in their team.
@Coltraz you’re ignoring this part because you can’t name one player who did this. That’s fine since I don’t need your response as long as everyone else thinks of you suggesting awful combos no good player would run as an actual solution to nyx.
Nyx is 2% faster than arbustodon so it’s pretty rare that it outspeeds.
He asked for one slow frontline that counters it, I haven’t said anything about teams that can score top spot.
And you all are crazy if you think I have any more influence over Devs than any of you. Their DMs are open to everyone, all of you can contact them with your issues and suggestions. I am not an employee at this company, so get off my ■■■■ and let me play the game and spend thousands more to get more mythics that won’t fit with each other but I am going to spam them anyway.
Yeah, so it isn’t really a solution if none of them are good, is it? Anyone who isn’t aiming for at least top 20 shouldn’t have any reason to counter nyx unless they have some personal vendetta against those frontlines in particular. Also you’re right with the second point. It does make for some funny memes tho…
I use it in FL and NO, 90% of the time Nyx will play before, Megalodragon was the only counter at this time, now with Nyx’s shield we can say that if or if Nux is executed it is impossible to kill her before the fermata
