Unable to understand new mythic rodeknight big damage?

Is the big damage really working properly for the mythic as i tried assisted splash from a super epic frozmaw and it dealt the same attack stats approximately as this mythics nullifying strike in second form or is this mythic attacks just really bad?

Thanks in advance😁

Assisted move deal more dmg if there are teammates in the battlefield with the same element. So if u have many water element in the battlefield, frozmaw will deal quite a good dmg. This is the best reason I can think of for frozmaw dealing more dmg than lancercat. So it may be frozmaw dealing good dmg not mythic dealing low dmg. Or maybe u attacking a higher def monster?
I don’t know much about lancercat it is a new monster which I don’t own. So I can’t say anything about it.

Well the myth sucks in second form.standard def power slash won’t do any good damage

Thanks for answering, yeah i think this makes sense he was with two more water monster. I just thought mythic did a damge of 1400 something to ankoudragon which makes nullifying strike completely useless with 130 tu. I just wanted to confirm if this is fine as it says big damage in description of move.

Yeah truešŸ˜…. Thanks for answering. I was just hoping it was some flaw as it says big damage in description of nullifying strike.

Lancerat is ā€œstandard defenceā€ stats so has very low attack compared to if it had ā€œfull attackā€ stats. When it comes to damage calculation the higher attack is effectively squared, meaning if it did have the max attack possible (full attack stats) then nullifying strike would deal roughly 1.85x damage compared to what it actually does. Your 1400 damage to Ankou would be 2600 damage instead, more worthy of the title ā€œbig damageā€.

Nullifying strike is basically like zealous attack, which also calls it ā€œbig damageā€. It does a bit less than zealous attack, with the upsides of no recoil and nullifying revenges. The problem comes in Lancerat’s poor attack stat and the monster is clearly designed for the final form where it gets a piercing version (which ignores the attack/defence factor) and even a secret skill that boosts attack by 50%. Lancerat simply sucks really badly due to this design, even with the union attack.
