Apparently on the Facebook post that announces the current featival, Tinker is listed as a great and popular monster. Which is a joke. That guy was already baf and adter the numerous nerfs he is obsolete. He should be a SE. Whats more is that he is a limited legendary and so bad. Can we get some sort of buff. Unmoveable maked him hard to use. Stun flash makes him a brick. The SS is atleast good but the damage of survivor is unpredictable. And the tokens dont even do anything. They can easily remove themelves woth detonate. At least the shells are difficult but the boces are jokes. This guy definitely needs a complete rework. Maybe drain double survivor coupled with a passive similar to lunartic that can spam boxjaws.
Everyone wanted tinker etc removed from game even devs hate the legend we just have to face it he won’t ever be good again
I don’t agree to some of the stuff. Survivor one shots tt’s every time so it isn’t unpredictable. And somehow I feel he’s better than motor, as if you mess up with motor and don’t get a kill (or backstabbed him) you’ll be sitting with a motorduck, as of tinker, you have to kill him at some point because survivor becomes a threat.

Yeah but in a meta run by poison sleep stun and ghost turtles and exploding kittens, motor really doesnt find his place. As a matter of fact none of the old legends do. Devs just make more and more strong monsters and skills ( spirit possession is downright OP) and to counter it, they make more powerful ones and so on. No wonder yhe game is stuck in a power creep whirlpool. In order to combat it, instead of chamging the cost system, juts budd the old legends. In the current meta, motor is obsolete. Any buff to him that can counter the kitten or turtle will make him usefull and stop the power creep. Or something. But tinker is pathetic now a days. Also regarding the survivor thing i nevwr used him and when i did he never lived that long so i can’t confirm. But if it is true, drain double survivor is all the more good.
You’re here making a buff thread and you haven’t even tried tinker long enough to know the damage output of his survivor, and just throwing in fake facts before doing some testing…
Tinker is a disrupter, and I loved him before they put broken heart on the boxjaws. His instant knockback next placed in 5 or 6 is great for keeping bane or shockers off the field, but that’s his only use, and he does become dead weight.
I hardly ever use him anymore, but I dont think tinker needs a change at all. Just make it so boxjaws cant detonate for 100 seconds. I say 100 because that effectively keeps them on the field for 200 seconds (get their turn and then miniblight, then they get another turn and detonate). And it has to be that long because 2 come out at once and they both die when one detonates.

don’t get me wrong. I tried. a lot. but my point is, in this moment the meta is overrun by ghost turtles and exploding mice. thell me in todays meta if you were to run tinker, where would you use him. I tried everywhere and no luck. as for the survivor thing, tinker isn’t alive omg enough or the monsters aren’t on the field (TT).
I tried tinker last pvp and did his job as good as he always has. Had him 6th, and the point with tinker isn’t to kill 4 monsters the moment it hits the field. He’s a disruption. The double repulse and insta kbn already screws up some plans, and not to mention that stun flash. You seem to underrate that or you just don’t repulse the ones that counter stun. Tinkers survivor is incredibly easy to charge compared to lets say gallio or apollo.
Guys, honestly, who still uses Tinker in PvP?
Ill run him on occassion. And TBH after a double repulse and IKBN any opponent not top 100 will dip most of the time.
So, actually, Tinker has singlehandedly won me many matches even since his nerf lol.
Still, boxjaws need a rework. Keep tinker the same.
What skills did he have before the nerf ?
What if boxjaw’s detonate did a lot more damage, like say a fully assisted AOE

Double repulse and instant KBN is great, as well as stun flash and survivor. He’s far from being the best legendary but he’s not terrible. He disrupts nicely and in that time charges survivor that can begin killing things at a fair speed.
If he’s dying before survivor charges then can you really call him dead weight? He’s done his job with the boxjaws and probably double repulse + instant KBN. If he doesn’t die by that point then you have a killing move.
Thats an idea, actually. One detonate does 50% damage. If two or more boxjaws are on the field it does 100% damage to all monsters…

Boxjaw need auto Protektor
Motor needs a buff. He has been hit so hard by nerfs.
Unmovable so only one set of shells which I can understand why.
Making the shells half tu on life flip and then unstunable seems to much when you now only get one set.
His moveset is not great as you tend to rarely charge bloodthirst so just spam knock back next and has no SS.
Most people would cannibalize/backstab death revenge into him now which isn’t even possible now.
Steam hawk is a much better option right now as you can get his bloodcrave charged easily and single repulse isn’t effected by stealth and is no where near as risky as you know what’s following when you repulse
