Tier list change log

Game Update (versions 2.67)

You can see the update notes with this link.

Just a few balance changes going on here, nothing crazy but a few are significant.

Here’s the usual list of notable changes that didn’t result in movements:

Mythics

Selkette
This is definitely a superficial buff to make it counter mark, death sentence and target curse.

Legendaries

Burnsalot, Drakozord Z, Apollorexus and Nightrider
These all got their hit all move replaced with a piercing version that does critical to specific types, with some very minor differences. For example, Apollo’s ignores stealth and revenge but is higher TU and lower damage. Nightrider seems like the most interesting here because it deals over 1k and if Nightrider has below 70% HP then it deals over 2k. Drakozord gets huge attack at low HP but its move does very low damage when not critical. Ultimately, I don’t think any of these change things in a major enough way to alter their tier list position but they may be useful for particular battles.

Moving up:

Mythics

Lacrimea moves from A → S- in PvE, B → A in PvP and second form tier 2 → 3
I wasn’t expecting another buff so soon, especially because it already became good. Overlink+ becoming 30TU is insanely fast to easily set up delink+ (120TU total) and soul extract (130TU total). If you soul extract then it’s a tiny window where she doesn’t have the shield so what you’re getting is 130TU piercing sweeping while also placing overwatch on her and either on a teammate too or setting up a 90TU instant kill on an enemy. That seems like a great sweeper, although it does just die to any piercing attacks (which are common among top mythics) so I don’t see it ever being a top mythic itself. I’m much more sold on this in PvE now where you can make it pierce super easily.

Legendaries

Geisthorn moves from B → A in PvE
This is a fun one to get buffed but the issue to my knowledge has always been that solo double poison eater needs both enemies poisoned in order to one-shot and then purge rage is too slow for PvP. However, for PvE this seems relatively decent and the buff edges it up one tier.

Moving down:

Mythics

Whitara moves from S+ → S in PvE
This was obviously too strong on release and here it got rebalanced to be how it probably should have been all along. She’s a bit weaker overall but for now I think I’m keeping her in S+ for PvP because the baseline of what she does is so good. In PvE I think it pushes her out of S+ because the slower claw feast reduces the chaining potential and if you’re relying on Albakhan then Whitara often has to pull the weight for both of them, which the slower attacking doesn’t do as well.

Legendaries

Blightosis moves from B → C in PvE
A bunch of nerfs here intended to reduce it for general use, which matters in PvE. For PvP this still seems to be S+ for both its shriek use (the combo is still live after this nerf) and as a high speed sonic strike to counter specific things or enable high speed front lines (removing counters like Arbustodon).
