Well it’s passive seems good , and adverse stirke can be triggered with 40% health,
Imo B+ tier in PvP ,
What are everyone else thoughts??
I think he looks angry and need petting, so A+
I’m thinking all new monsters should be 100% guaranteed on the 6th pack. Polaboss has already been released 11 months ago so this egg is complete crap because of that. That’s my thoughts
But the thread is about the new legend and not about polarboss and how retarded the egg offer is
The passive can sadly target itself, so 1/4 of the time it doesn’t do much. Adverse strike unfortunately does as much damage as confident strike without the double (at 100% health). It’s attack stat is low, so basically the damage is quite poor and not killing anything. However, it’s another high speed protector with good defence and hold ground plus some killing ability. Compared to Drako it’s a little weaker except for the passive.
I think it all depends on how strong that passive is. If it proves to be as powerful as I’d like to think then this monster could be great… one of the best protectors.
Also if adverse strike is the best way to set up blood crave, then your fast protector is gonna kill himself. This monster still makes little sense to me.
And RNG for the passive? Watch it give turn to the next monster up or to a sleeping monster every time
I’m actually getting some Nulltron vibes from him. He’s got a mixture of things to offer, depending on the situation. I feel like he works best as a sweeper rather than a protector, as long as you can do it. You’ve got roughly 40s until he gets a turn from entry to put an enemy onto hold ground. Then use instant overwatch and either adverse strike or double bloodcrave (depending on what you need). After that you’ve got a guaranteed double kill as soon as he gets hit or when he next gets a turn, on top of the extra turn he gave a teammate when he entered.
Maybe that’s just me liking the aggressive play-style, but he is a nice sweeper if you can get a kill. Protect is maybe just there for if you can’t charge him or desperately need to protect other monsters.
I also feel like he’s great to combo with Aurodragon and Dusicyon. With both of those monsters you want protectors and preferably holy (so you can do all that horrible link holy stuff) so a high speed protector that gives a teammate a turn when it enters and could be shielded + HG is great. When it gets reincarnated at 1 HP that’s also good because you still get the teammate’s turn and it has high speed with adverse strike.
I like the look of Pawpatrol a lot. Shame it’s not guaranteed in the 6th pack… that puts me off rolling a lot! It’s roughly 1/18 per 10-pack and then 50% chance every 6th. Doing some rough calculations…
Chance from 6 packs = 65%
Chance from 12 packs = 87%
Chance from 18 packs = 95%
I’ve got Polaboss already so throwing in 300 gems on this egg for a 35% chance of nothing is a little worrying.
I like your evaluation,
Sure the combos you just mentioned are good but you’re forgetting something,
It is not stun immune,
It is a chrome & protect food,
Only great thing is its passive,
Maybe Devs saw something in it that we don’t see just yet as last time they made a new legend not guaranteed was zhulong which was OP at that time .
And you’re vibes of null are wrong my Friend,
It can be used as a sweeper but as I said, this current meta is of stun & it can only get a kill or 2 at most.
And since you yourself said adverse strike works as a confident strike , means RNG comes in with it, as it might not bring something to HG,.
Plus you say it’s defence is good but what I see is 31 hp, which is really low , and as per my experience hp really matters if a monster wants to survive certain attacks, as defence dosent matter most of the time.
Yeah weak to both chrono and protector killer is very bad. So many PvP monsters are weak to chrono killer than people are going to be using it everywhere. What I’m starting to see about Nulltron is that its weakness to chrono killer is a big downside because it’s not as aggressive as Angelion, Tygoron and Valzareign… it won’t get as many easy kills before it meets a death to chrono killer.
My reference to Nulltron is about how it can do more than one thing. It can either be a protector or it can be a sweeper and you decide on your first turn… like Nulltron. The two are very different monsters in all other respects.
The potentially OP thing is the entrance passive. For mid-game there are certain monsters that help break down your opponent’s momentum like the tranquilising entrance monsters, roaring entrance monsters (albeit most are less impactful) and now this bear. If they’ve stunned you at all this can be great and one of the typically bad things in the mid-game is the opponent having lots of turns in a row. Just having one of your monsters get a turn in could mean a lot, as long as you’ve got an aggressive team in front of where you have Pawpatrol.
This monster is weak to chrono killer and gazer is not? Makes neo sense
Nulltron is way better bro, (in every regard)
Once null gets started, it’s very very hard to stop it, and that raw bloodthirst is of low Tu which is so good
You’re right it might help as per your situation, if being stunned and paw patrol entrance helps,
But what if, it gave itself turn and then it would be waste of a spot , might bide off little time but won’t matter.
I’m not denying what you’re saying, the same op thing about its passive can also bite you back. And you have to unlock it’s ss to use it very efficiently.
For a cost 14 protect to make a spot in a team., Which is not stun immune, you’d have to trust in RNG.,
For example, you have TT 2 sweepers & cobra on field,
Any sweeper or cobra dies,
Paw patrol might gives it turn to tt (which would not happen & will be waste of a passive ), or other 2 monsters,
Sweeper will kill & instant Overwatch & protect teamates,
It might work out brilliantly but it’s being dependent upon RNG .
That’s why you gotta build around it. It’s like making a team of nulltron and 15 protectors, it’s not gonna work because you literally counter yourself. Same reason why you shouldn’t even have 2 tts on the field at the same time
Why bother making a team around it when you have better options .
If you had it, then yea you would want to try & utilize it properly but you made my point .
All fair points but don’t loads of people love Drakozord? This monster is same speed, same defence, hold ground and has protect teammates. It’s weak to chrono killer but very similar. I prefer Pawpatrol’s moveset already and then it has the passive on top. It seems harsh to compare it to sweepers because it’s a mixture of two designs. Compare it to Drako and it looks pretty good.
Is it a Bear-horse or a Horse-bear?
It’s a ManBearPig
Hey there’s only room for one Man Bear Pig in this one horse town
I rolled and got it so I’ll let you guys know how it plays in pvp. In my opinion just at face value. Drakozord is a much better pick. I would say that the damage level is even less than damaged confident strike.
I plan on playing him with aura and shiva. He’s a monster that requires setup in my opinion, kinda like bull like someone said.
I would’ve thought a monster like him would have an assisted AOE.
Although I can say I do like his ss.
Just fought one and it seems pretty cool
Oh and I think it’s hilariously named after the kids show my little siblings watch. Hope that’s not copyright infringement!
