if they cared about diversity so much they should make new monsters and polish not old ones not make a list that will make me lose in pvp
let’s say things as they are (without offending anyone) the past limitations were crap, and the new ones are much more so than those, but you know they are going to come with the excuse of diversity, for God’s sake
They did something similar to this, where they gave boosted RP for using certain monsters. However, that wasn’t during ranked. To be honest, I think reduced RP would be far harsher than restricting monsters… it would pretty much be like banning them. Running them with reduced rating you get would feel horrible for those players.
The feedback I gave the Devs was: “It would be good to see something like (1) = 2 mythics, 4 legendaries. (2) = 3 mythics, 7 legendaries, 2 super epics.”
It’s definitely important to remember that there are 1/3 the number of mythics in the game. The number restricted should be proportional to that. The Devs did a great job increasing the number from 1 to 3 mythics but since there are 14 legendaries restricted they probably should’ve done 4-5 mythics rather than 3.
This is purely speculative. The Devs have said the opposite and they even responded to community feedback about the number of mythics restricted being too low. There’s also an almost direct correlation between what we saw a lot of over the last two seasons and what’s now entered the restriction list. Monsters like Polaboss, Moku and Penguinator that saw a lot less play than before are no longer restricted at all. Those three monsters are actually key ones used by a lot of free/newer players so that makes a strong case against your claims.
how strange it would be that they accepted it
hopefully at some point they decide that limitations cannot be repeated in consecutive seasons
To be honest, I think it is better to limit them completely than to limit 1 or 2
I think it is better not to limit any of them and for everyone to play with whatever they want, for that they spent gems on those monsters, what happens is that a developer is a fan of yugioh and wants to limit as if it were a card game
Last time reposting this I promise but there’s still some confusion.
This might hurt some feelings but f2p is the reason for the restrictions. There are simply not enough people spending on mythics so they have to change their business model.
There’s a gem deal every other week it seems, the shrine is just a discount on mythics, they are actually making the correct moves from a business standpoint which this is.
A lot of people are mad that they’re going to take a few more losses because of the changes and it’s a little funny how badly y’all need validation.
Well, they will not have it in 90% they do not agree with this, they should find another way to manage the situation, but not ruin creativity, I prefer that they eliminate the game than do something as materialistic as that
because they leave open the thread of whether the idea but not the execution instead of the other that was much more even
Thank you @Killerdog I was a lil confused with all these threads.
BTW I predict Aethereon will be the 1st mythic to make the pvp most used list let’s argue! naw jp only a prediction.
monsters should not be limited and if it were done it should be at least the same mythical as legends not 1 for every 4 or anything similar if they had put 5 for me it would still be wrong
I was a lil confused with all these threads.
Yeah, one has been closed but we have three. One is a general discussion (not active for past 12 hours), one is a poll about the restriction list system and has basically turned into a general discussion (this one) and one is a poll trying to see how many people are affected to different degrees (the other poll thread). People don’t like it when the moderators fiddle too much so I’m just going to kick general comments out of my poll thread into a better place. I want to try and get some proper data there, not start off a big discussion
I agree with u. I don’t understand the intent of bringing diversity in the first place. Users are accumulating and purchasing gems to get the monsters they want to use. However, it is strange that the limit is added every time and we can not use the monster we got.
Those who seek diversity voluntarily create teams using various monsters on their own. This is what happens when there are no restrictions. In other words, I don’t think they should happen voluntarily and are not compelled.
Another problem this creates is that with time, players will start thinking on what is the point on buying gems to get a good monster…if you won’t be able to use two or three of those good monsters at the same time🤔. You waisted your money in at least one of those three.
I mean, do people buy gems to get “normal” monsters?. No, people will always try to get the best stuffs…and best stuffs are the most used ones. But then, those most used ones are the most limited ones so…what’s the point on getting/spending money on something you won’t properly use?.
The game is to seek happiness, rather than being forced to do something, restricting it to adjustment, I think it’s ok.but always do it?what? I didn’t want to understand why.at least I played this game and never wanted to prove how talented I was. . . That’s boring
Hello everyone, I would like to leave my point of view on the subject and with no more time to lose here I go: I own many legends and I have a pretty good account with enough monsters to fight and find alternatives in almost any goal. During the first season that we had to use the limitations, I had 7 limited monsters in my team so it was destroyed, the monsters that so much time and work cost me to obtain to achieve the best combinations and have all the resources now could not be part of it team, forcing most of the people to change their lineup completely, something that in my opinion is very wrong, it is a game and we should be able to have fun with everything we have, everyone should be able to play with what they want and have in their team and not being forced to use other things you don’t want, I think limiting the best monsters over and over again is not the right way, it would be fine during rule or fighting like this in a new PVP event where we fight for rewards by doing teams where we have that list of limited monsters, people would not have the right to protest because it is simply an event and if they are not willing to play like that, let them lose the rewards nsas or not participate, but we are talking about the (rank) qualified pvp, here we should be able to come with everything so that everyone can fight with their maximum power without limits, it is very heavy not being able to use the best things and in my opinion having to leave out Monsters you want to use is totally unfair, the monsters in Neo we all know that they are not easy to obtain, they require a lot of work, time and, above all, a lot of luck, so why can’t we use them after that? , totally unfair to me. The first list of limitations was tough enough to make me stop playing qualified pvp competing for the best positions but what kept me firm was that I had obtained the top 10 in 4 occasions and was only one rank away from trying to get my new icon, That gave me the strength, interest and enough encouragement to create a new team to try to fight again to the top and obtain the so precious position 10 and receive my iridescent icon, now that I have it and there are the so hated limitations there is nothing that pushes me to continue competing for the best potions, I will play pvp for the rewards and in the ranks I will fight and once I am comfortable in the top 50 -20 I will stop, it is no longer worth fighting to the top, no if not I can have fun with my best monsters, it is preferable and more pleasant pve because there we are free to use whatever we want. I hope one day the developers understand that we do not want limitations and that without them we are much better and happier.
Thank you all for reading
they are putting limitations that do not leave creativity with the excuse of seeking diversity is something ironic and it is not funny at all, I agree with you
very much agree with you, those are everyone’s ideas in a paragraph, thank you very much for explaining
Exactly, the limitations do not give us the freedom to play as we want, on the contrary, there comes a time when it becomes quite tedious to play with monsters that you do not want to use…
I think that the developers got out of hand with this list and I honestly pass it through the ■■■■ because my whole team has been destroyed in conclusions that the list of limited ones goes to the ■■■■
