I’m not sure do you experiencing same as me… But judging by my past experience, I am more likely to win with my arks scrambled than without. Especially when I encounter someone having more powerful arks than me, like ss, moss(btw, it’s sleeping move makes me want to throw the phone on the wall><), destructor, Kami…etc.
there was a guy I was fight with, he has better arks than me. I had three times fighting him and I lost three times, he didn’t scramble me though. But after I come up again from expert league, I encountered him again, I only changed a bit of my front line just wanted to kill his ss, but I didn’t succeed, he has that ss+chopper+mine thingy always, because I don’t have ss so I just let it go… But interesting thing is when he started to use scramble on me, I suddenly feel a lot less struggled. I won him twice in a row… All of it I was scrambled… This wasn’t the first time it happened to me… So I think it’s weird, I either have excellent luck or… I don’t know… Just weird lol 
And btw, it wasn’t that I had crazy BAs, we all had a few BAs, but not like critical
