📊💎🏆 The Full-Collection Mythic Outlook

The jerbo girls are kind of nonbo with Cinder but I get the sentiment. (which is also why I’m sad that more units are getting released to Cinder and awakened mythic friends team like Vivienne. Vivienne is almost midiocre in Jerbo teams for how much reinforcements you have but in generic mythic teams, she is a deathgazer too basically)

You can use high TU Jerbeam! and then gg no re it with Cinder - very good for PvE.

Oh yeah Cinder is on top of my list for: 1 a fast backbiter, 2. great endgame with its control but I meant specifically pvp.

Cinder works okay with the jerbo i have used it personally nothing broken here, you will sacrifice the defense boost on her to give defense boost to the jerbo girls, but there will be counter synergy with kasumi because the gg role will trigger the poison revenge

How has ice breaker becoming piercing made this much difference? Outside the front line you basically can’t use this move. In the front line it’s unrealistic to expect to use it either unless you’re doing OoO, which I can’t imagine you’re suggesting here. “Smoother and more viable” sounds like a weird description, or maybe I’m just not understanding?

When I tried it before in my Nyx teams, it was not strong enough as the first sweeper. If the enemy had already swept, Retaliate was charged and it worked fine, but otherwise it fell short. Now that is no longer the case. With multiple monsters carrying Pardon moves, there are plenty of situations beyond the frontline where this low TU piercing move becomes very useful.

I also placed it a tier higher, not because it is overwhelmingly powerful, but because it stands out just enough to deserve the bump.

Nyx frontline does make sense. I was thinking how in this meta the opponent will almost always have either got a kill or not allowed Don Rilla to get a turn but I guess that’s hyperbolic and actually there will be enough matchups he gets to use the attack.

The pardon stuff I’m not so sure about. There’s always a risk you get the kill but then Don Rilla gets another turn too quickly it can’t use second gun or retaliate.

I know exactly what you mean though about a buff tipping the scales enough to bump it up one “tier”.

Yes. The myths in Collection Fillers are the ones players should not really focus on and usually only awaken by accident, while the Dead Slots are myths with outright terrible moveset design.

I would not recommend spending gems or tickets on any of them unless you specifically need one for a very niche build.

For example, I picked up Medbie just to run a quick auto combo for clearing the silver map, since the AI uses both secret skills right away and the battle ends instantly.

Update

After Update Ver. 2.61

:up_arrow: Ophidiator – Upgraded to Synergy Picks

  • Reworked Baby Summon feels great now
  • Harder to ignore, and we have a lot of powerful Reptiles to run it with

After Update Ver. 2.62

:up_arrow: Thalazaar – Upgraded to Meta-Core

  • Another change, this time a tone-down from the ridiculous buff in the previous update
  • No longer copies like crazy, but it still gives you up to 8 copies
  • Harder to heal now, so it’s not as threatening as before
  • Still very difficult to deal with in PvP, especially with Revive-type monsters and Scapegoat-type ones like Rozaliz or Arachna

:up_arrow: Fiona – Upgraded to Synergy Picks

  • I like this minor but important change to her Frosty Shield
  • Can now be used as a fast shielder for enemy teams to sweep with Fastbreaker monsters
  • Lots of strong waifus recently gained the Beast type, giving her more viable partners

:down_arrow: Viviénne – Downgraded to High Impact

  • Self-acceleration on entrance was absurd
  • No more 47TU GT spam from her
  • She will now be used more for her unique SS instead of just being a quick GT roaring entrance mythic

:down_arrow: Bridalith – Downgraded to High Impact

  • Her pushback finally got a restriction
  • No longer as oppressive in the 5th team slot and this change will make the Shieldbreaker strategy harder to pull off in frontline
  • I’m happy to test her more in midgame positions for disruption potential

:up_arrow: Novemdomina – Upgraded to Synergy Picks

  • Stun Counter is a great change for her
  • Now the best Link Fire support, lowering enemy HP, providing strong and fast acceleration, GT support, and the best stun protection

Update

Added missing new mythic first impressions.

Movements after a few more PvP seasons:

:up_arrow: Viviénne – Upgraded back to Meta-Core

She is everywhere in endgames alongside Rinmu and other high-pressure sweepers. She swings matches hard and often just closes them out. Losing her self-acceleration was way less impactful than expected. She still snowballs extremely well and fits perfectly into late-game control setups.

:down_arrow: Vixenblade – Downgraded to Synergy Picks

She is barely seen now. Too restrictive and hard to justify when we have so many insane water monsters and beast myths that give more immediate value. On top of that, sleep as a strategy has way more counters now with Azulyn, Dream Ender-type skills, and Counter Sleep effects everywhere. Building around her just does not feel rewarding enough anymore.

:down_arrow: Carmillette – Downgraded to High Impact

She feels awkward in too many situations. If there are no protectors or sleep targets on the field, she often has nothing meaningful to do. Yes, she is tanky, but forcing her into HP drain move makes her feel like deadweight. We now have other sweepers that are just as bulky while bringing more consistent pressure and utility.

:up_arrow: Majorie – Upgraded to Synergy Picks

Unbreakable Shield plus Camouflage made her much harder to remove than people expected. She constantly pressures the field by erasing defense from incoming monsters. Sleep Roulette feels much stronger now, and Void Dreamcrush being able to kill off some non-sleeping targets makes her far more flexible.

:up_arrow: Agent M – Upgraded to Meta-Core

Whitara’s release pushed Agent M and other beast waifus back into the spotlight. People are finally running her properly with her minions, and the results are extremely strong. The frontline pressure and follow-up value are very hard to deal with consistently.

:up_arrow: Kumachi – Upgraded to Synergy Picks

She pairs very well with strong entrance monsters like Petrora and Aello. Her secret skill is easier to activate than it looks, thanks to her spawns and rebirth loops. A solid utility piece that enables some creative setups.

:up_arrow: Kanna – Upgraded to Synergy Picks

Her new secret skill gave robotic myths real support. Scyber frontlines with her have been surprisingly strong and fun to experiment with. She brings cohesion to a previously awkward archetype.

:up_arrow: Rinmu – Upgraded to Meta-Core

Easily the strongest entrance in the game right now. Every top team needs to respect her or run her. She is the definition of control, and her quick rebirth step back can stack with other rebirth enablers like Persephia or Nephthys to create overwhelming tempo swings. An absolute staple at the highest level.
