Our initial concern was that its secret skill allows it to bomb 4 monsters immediately once it charges. Without stealth or killing it in time, it feels quite aggressive. Maybe we were overworried.
I believe we can make it faster and add one unique skill, then evaluate from there to ensure it doesnât become a second Astrajlyth. I hopeâŠ

Makes sense. The powerful part about the moveset is definitely the way it can one-shot all enemies with the blast move. However, it takes 100s from entrance to get there. Deodragon has been able to charge twice to one-shot in a little under this time (90s) for many years and it sees absolutely zero play.
Increasing its speed too much or otherwise some tweaks could accidentally make it too powerful with this blast move or make it a one trick pony where all you want to do is blast (aka a boring design). However, Iâm sure you can figure out something interesting.
Right now itâs one of those monsters that technically you canât leave alive on the opponentâs battlefield because it will kill your monsters but it also isnât doing anything powerful and is slow so it will underperform in most battles.

For the record though, on release Novadrake had shield entrance rather than hold ground and it was only after the community complained lots that it should be hold ground that it was changed. So technically Novadrakeâs design was very different to what you see now and was heavily disliked by the community⊠even if arguably you could say it was interesting.
The only other monster I can think of that gives up its HP as part of the design is Orochi. Thatâs another which the community have complained about loads.
Prismpaw I donât think counts because that flip flops its HP. Survivor and other recoil moves are maybe the more generalised place where itâs been successful, if those count.
Gorgo having a chance to die every move might count. Surely they can find a way to make âpainfulâ moves useful on this fella
Have you ever seen Gorgo die? Me never. His pass needs to be checked.
I mean piercing blow has always been and still is one of the strongest moves in the game. What are we talking about here? Same thing with Vanquish and was double survivor. Hurting yourself to do something is really irrelevant, itâs what the moves does.
The âhurting yourselfâ mechanic here is only for his passive, not because itâs a negative for him.

Okey Iâll give it to devs, this might be the best AI proof pve monster so I like it for that reason alone
Itâs the same level of strength as alyce, just shove into your late game and it will start snowballing with infinate ressurectios, unless your enemy has void moves,
