I wont give you the exact details but mettalodious and barri make for a nice headache to stun users when together… Ahm… Scramble…ahm there are quite a few solid ways to defeat this combo…

Why should we HAVE to build a team to fight against the endless stun tactic teams out there? That is just ridiculous!!! There are so many amazing monsters we cant use solely based on the fact that they do not fare well against an endless stun team… Why am i obligated to fill my lineup with stun skin monsters that cant do any damage themselves, in fear that i may come across a stun team? I want to use powerful monsters, but i am stuck using an “anti-stun” team because everybody and their mother wants to use a stun team. Stun teams NEED to be nerfed and that is the end of discussion.
Stun needs to be toned down, this is very obvious. Can’t wait for the update. :-), PVP will be fun to play again.

You hit the nail on the head, I HATE having to build an anti-stun team in fear that i’ll always run into one, but with everyone now using a stun team… its pretty much run an anti-stun team or get murdered in Masters…
That’s far from true. Good teams work well against everything.
Geez, people keep complaining that they can’t win…just watch…I can guarantee people will want to nerf stasis users…and terror fish…and cruiser fish…and guardiron…and every other powerful monsters used in good strategies. As soon as a strong strategy comes out, people demand nerfs. Another way would be to get better at PVP and beat them~
Besides, Stegospike is being changed already. That’s the only powerful stunner. Everything else sucks…and there are SO many strategies against this. It’s not just anti-stun, too.
So please…stop complaining.

Build a whole anti stun team?.. One guy used three arks and had my stun team crippled without even having one stun skinner in there… Its pretty obvious… There are two arks that can soak up stegos stun!.. And have alot of health… No kill for charca in that stun window… You guessed it the combo is useless… So now you are six arks infront…
Yes the combo is good… But remember it costs half a team so if it isnt nailed precisely then that player is in trouble its easily beatable without running an anti stun team…
@tiberius: very true, been saying that a long time too. Hope they don’t give out stasis arks too easily though, don’t want the whole pvp realm filled with those guys. Before, we know it, people will be complaining about it and it will be nerf again.
Stasis absolutely doesn’t need a nerf, no doubt about that.

I don’t think Stego and Charc need nerfs…but whatever.
So when you are playing a S ranked Stego, and it stuns one of your monsters, then it gets a bonus ability, stuns another one of your monsters, and gets a 3rd bonus ability and stuns another one of your monsters, and after ALL that stunning, it STILL has its turn before your monsters… That gets kind of old… If Stego only stunned one monster MAYBE, but he is always getting bonus so he is stunning 2 or 3 monsters, THAT deserves a nerf. Furthermore, i just feel that the stun SHOULD NOT STACK… it is very simple, why should ANY ability for that matter make it so that you cannot use your monster for 500 TU? The ability itself is OP not the monsters using it.
Do you know how hard it is to get an s rank stego?.. Ive probably spun the wheel close to 500 times literally and ive only ever seen an s rank come up once… I think you may have met a hacker… Or someone that has put in solid time and effort and in that case he should win anyway!..
And for the last time if you dont want to be clobbered by this combo use a barri+heavy hitter+mettalodas… The guy will probably just dc because it isnt worth the headache…
Lol that line right there, I actually started doing that during certain parts of the day where there are stunners about, and literally they sit there and DC.
But i found a new one that stunners don’t like very much it seems. Doin testing on it currently to make sure it isn’t horrible against everything else.
Hahaha yeah look i run a stun team and when i see that i tip my hat and say well done lmao… I just find it funny now cause i started this post when there wasnt a way that anyone had posted on how to beat it… Now there are a hundred ways to beat it!.. My personal fav is gremknight+heavy hitter+ chopperbug… Like too many players ride off low star monsters! Scramble ftw! Lol just got a saphiron myself… Stunkiller stego+charca+saph… I shall rule the pvp world
Lol ya, good ol’ chopper. Moss golem is pretty fun against stun teams… that is all i will say.
Very important point, stuns in general needs to be nerfed so they cant be stacked. Stego is far from the only problem as said a million times, its stuns in comb with haste and badly designed monsters such as char that brakes the game.
To Tiberius, you seem to make the point over and over that you and x have played a lots of pvp and therefore know the state of the game better, couldn’t be further from the truth. Those who play the most doesn’t per say know what’s balanced and what’s not, it’s called being bias.

Yes, but just testing right now, seeing if it’ a solid setup or just a ituational thing. So far its 60-40, so it’s not great but it is fun =D
It’s called play testing, and finding what is the most viable, and what is the best. Currently our meta game revolves around LOTS of stunners. Find something that trumps stunners 100% of the time, does well against most everything else, and you’ll have yourself a new mix to deal with.
Someone who plays a lot sure would have bit more of an idea of what is viable and what is not compared to someone who just copies teams of the forums. Hence why Tib has his own thread for PvP. Trying to help deversify the ranks a bit and encourage people to play even when there aer so many chacostun decks around.
Actually it REALLY easy, you just have to know how to time eggs like myself :p… anyways, again why SHOULD I HAVE TO build an ant-stun team??? I want to have fun with the monsters i have, not having to start kentucky, barricadus, gremknight, chopper bug, etc. because noobs need to use a stun team to win. #micdrop
about 5 arks on my pvp are anti stun, I have to use them to at least slow down a strong stun team, even with this i might win 1 out of 10 matches and that if the opponent miscalculates which ark to take out. This also weakens the potential of my team against non-stun teams. In regards to stegospike, its very common for stego to get bonus actions EVERY time. This has been my experience, I would say stego gets 2 zaps per turn 90 percent of the time and 3 zaps 50 percent of the time. So even without haste stego spike can permanently stun most of the team. S rank stegospike might not be so difficult, players can just use grade boosters.
so yea, multi zap stego is VERY common in pvp.
and we all know once an ark is stunned by stego, its game over stego can stun it 100000000000 more times afterwards.

not sure why a player would want to win this way, possibly the goal is to try to win match in a single turn? or maybe because it funny that match can actually
be won this way?
these stun teams have 100 percent win ratio if the player knows how to use it, so i can understand why stun users want to keep it as is.
one thing i know for sure, a lot of players have abandoned pvp because of this.
stun should be readjusted.
