Fun part is there is another thread about banedragons everywhere . Devs be having fun
I too believe this is a better set up .
I just got an idea !
They could put a counter on the normal egg banner that is available to us 24x7 . When the counter reaches 10 , it should reward us a rare gem automatically . Counter increases by 1 everytime an egg is hatched on normal or limited banners .
This way we can do singles until we r satisfied and carry over the egg hatches to get our rare gems. Win - win !
Soooo… remove the reason to ever do a 10 pack?
Yep.
The devs should just put pity now.Atleast for legends in all banners. And ffs why does that gold egg even exist.Just make it so that they have more chance than a fest and add myths to it so that people could atleast think about it
The devs should make a pity timer for legendaries and mythics.
Their system it’s already fair, they tend to do that during anniversary or important events
Look here🙂

Out of these, only one legendary came from packs. And the rest came from singles. So I prefer singles for me. It differs from player to player tbh
Singles are a lot better than packs but you need to be really fast on hatching cause if someone else opens a pack in the time between your singles, then he could get the legendary/mythic that would have gone for you. That said, if you’re gonna spend 40 or “maybe” 80 gems, opening singles quickly is your best choice. But if you’re planning to spend more than that, let’s say 100, 200 etc, then you should directly open packs and not singles, cause it would require much time and is highly probable someone else is hatching at the same time you are
pls just stop that’s not even close to how any of this works…
You can see it as a big bag where monsters are and everyone goes and get one random. If you’re the only one getting monsters from the bag, when you get 100 monsters randomly you should have at least 6 legendaries and 1 mythic. But, if someone else is getting monsters at the same time you are, obviously he could be the lucky one and in 100 monsters between you both, he gets more legendaries than you or maybe all of them.
Chances decrease with the increment of players hatching at the same time.
That’s why if you’re gonna spend many gems, packs are the best choice
Is there something wrong?
The eggs you hatch are completely independent from what anyone else hatches. Even if this was true, the odds of getting good monsters from a pack/singles would be the same regardless of whether anyone is hatching at the same time as you unless you were to ask everyone else what they hatched.
In this hypothetical situation, someone could get lucky and take the legendary you could have hatched. They also could get unlucky and take the epics that you didn’t want, leaving you with two featured legendaries. The probability of these situations happening when considering the luck of the hatches you are getting is the same as when someone hatches at a time when no one else is hatching.
Edit: I just realized I found a way to repeat exactly what I said in the first paragraph in a longer, more convoluted way.
Is this written somewhere for you to be sure?
I base myself in many options and results from people through time of of course my own.
If you give it a little thought you’ll see is completely possible
If what you’re saying is right @NMEduck ,then people spending 9 packs in a row and getting nothing should never happened
This seems oddly familiar . Where did u get this idea from ? I’m intrigued
That assumes there is a pool of monsters with a set number of rarities that players will hatch. The way the egg system actually works is what you hatch from each egg is independent from your previous and future hatches. If that was a special egg, the chance of not getting a legendary or mythic in 9 packs is ~0.1%. That’s unlucky, but plenty of hatches ppl have had were much more rare.
DMG Luck Dragon had a similar idea but everyone pointed out how ridiculous it was so he stopped lol
Actually, DonT’s hatches disproved the theory he had about the eggs being rigged when the total legendaries and mythics hatched in all of his livestreams confirmed that the odds were exactly how the devs stated them to be.
To be honest , i told him that
Myself. As I said, I can’t be completely sure cause I’m not a dev, but other players experiences (DonT’s for instance) and my own, have made think this way, that this system is not independent for every player
